I agree with Ron...

For many years now I have thought about our "Pledge of Allegiance" and what it really means. As a child, it was an indoctrination process! Brainwashing...

Please do not think I am anti American or unpatriotic. The US was once the land more people wanted to either live in or be like. Why? Freedom!
But we are slowly being robbed of the very things that make our nation great and a shining example to be emulated.

So if the states that want to continue to leach off the producing states want to stay in the union, they will have to get a job and go to work!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

When weaker, bloodsucking states secede that's good.

when stronger, blood-supplying states secede that's bad.

I cannot blame the people of Texas for doing that.

I cannot blame the people of Texas for doing that.

Always stand for what you value and believe in.

Texas, a state of the USA under the NWO-Bush TRAITOR, the Clinton TRAITOR, then the BushTARD TRAITOR, and now the Obama DICTATOR twice in a row ?

Who CAN REALLY blame them Texans ?

Not I.

Stay safe, Texas.

"Cyril" pronounced "see real". I code stuff.

The time has come.

Plus RP could accomplish far more in Austin than DC.

Secession Now.

Woo hoo!

It will most likely amount to nothing, but the publicity is wonderful. It feels great. I just hope people don't look at it as a positive for Romney. I would have signed it if he had won too.

This is such good stuff.

Last night, when I signed, there were only 15k or so signatures.

Texas could definitely be self-sufficient without the other 49 states. Remember, secession does not mean there will be a wall around Texas, its just that Government would be much less centralized and free to those that want it. Us Texans would still want free trade and travel between us and our neighbors. Non-Aggression pacts and so on. The only bad thing about choosing Texas is the large percentage of illegals and hispanics...who are not bad, but have been told and fed lies by the Socialist Democrats, and the education system who have radicalized alot of young latinos to hate Texas/USA.

When Eric Holder & Co come marching into Colorado, Washington, etc, then maybe, just maybe the states will learn that the Federal Govt does not have the states' best interests in mind.

As of right now, it seems like 100+ people are signing every 3 or so minutes. What if we get 100k signatures!?!?!

A while back, Governor Perry hinted at secession if Obamacare and Obama himself werent overturned nationwide....

Petition for Wisconsin

slightly different:

According to an examiner article, linked to in this recent thread:

...these petitions were all "citizen generated". In other words, they don't appear to have been triggered by any committee or legislative effort in their corresponding state governments. I think these petitions should have been directed towards state legislatures. Those in the White House do not have the authority to say whether a state can secede or not. A state has to decide that for itself. I have no idea as to what kind of response these petitions will provoke.
