I know that many believe that now is too soon, but the establishment is already working on theirs behind the scenes.

I am curious, do you support that ticket (your sign), or can you see Justin running as president? It is apparent that Rand is preparing, but... well, Amash is on the horizon :-) Thoughts?

Just my 2 cents worth but, why not consider submitting letters to the editor or writing articles for local papers or internet sites, using what you've come up with? Flyers are good for political type meetings but, why not begin to educate the masses through other avenues? Passing out flyers about Justin Amash at this point in time might not be wise. Most sheeple would just throw it away, without reading it.

Please don't misunderstand. I think you're doing a terrific job! But, maybe it would be better to use what you've compiled (and add some of his actual votes)in a different format now and use the flyer later. I guess what I'm trying to say is educate with name recognition first, then go into detail later.

Just my 2 cents, for whatever it's worth.

Yes, those efforts are being worked on :-)

I edited the thread to ommit because I didn't think that it was relevent here, but these flyers will be hand distributed to about 30-40 people at tonights meeting. Christian Coalition, Campaign for Liberty, will be among those in attendance. They will likewise spread this, as well as post on their respective meetups/facebooks.

I am also working on new comparison sheets, but having great difficulty in finding jeb bush's record as governor. Other governors and senators records are available, but for some reason I can not find jeb's. I may be wrong, but I think that the establishment will be propping him, thus the lack of info.

At least one of them thinks Jeb Bush is the black sheep of the Bush family, is a wonderful governor and would make a good president. I will contact that person to try to get any info that might help you.

I ran across a few things about jeb that was definately not favorable, along with quotes and such. I would love to back those up with 'on the record' :-)

"I'll have to dredge my memory on that one but I will. It's Florida we try not to keep any pertinent data. They may be trying to push him out there again. He has refused several times in the past (senatorial race after the governership and the next presidential) but he has remained adament. Everytime you say no you become more desirable. I'll do my research. Didn't agree with all of his choices but he was honest and actually tried to work with both sides of the room."

That is an interesting response, indeed. There is some truth to that, so we must beware. Thanks Nonna, I look forward to what else can be offered. It is troubling that his record is not readily available, though snippets can be found via google.
