Yeah-I just looked at the Wisconsin petition. 1 out 8 of the

signers approximately is from Wisconsin.

Yeah like THAT is going to be taken seriously.

Probably 70,000 or the 80,000 Texas signers are from other states in essence signing a petition to kick Texas OUT.

That is why I didn't believe

That is why I didn't believe it, anyone from any state can sign for another state. This will be another stage for Kabuki theater and Obama will come and make everything all better.

You realize of course that ANYBODY can sign that petition, not

just Texans.

A 80,000 signature petition would be more impressive if all the signatures actually came from Texas.

There are some 20 or 30 petitions up there from different states. One person could go through and add a signature to all of them.

How many??

I am curious. Just how many of the petitioners are Texans. I would make an assumption right now that a rather small percentage are actually Texans seeking to succeed and that many petitioners are placing their names on all available petitions, thus skewing the results.

Watch what will happen next...

Watch what will happen next, the WH will shut down the web site. Just curious what would happen if all 57 states secede and form a new union?

I still can't believe he said that.

State of Denial

and of State of Ignorance are too obvious. How about State of Statists. Didn't some of his supporters put his face on our flag too?

Florida hit 25k in less than 48 hours

and I live in a very small town and there are a handful of people (I don't recognize their names) that have signed it from my town. I didn't sign it because I'm probably already on some watch list. lol.

There is a VERY redneck country town about 25 miles from here that has at least 15 signitures. Hell, I didn't know them boys even had computers much less internet access. They have lots of guns and deer meat though.

Even though this is a fruitless effort...it's cool to see so many people at least acknowledging the Federal Govt is fcuked up.

Be Careful...

...I bet 60,000 of those signatures are neo-cons who hate Obama's guts. They want to leave the union so they can have there own NDAA bill and do there own drone strikes against Iran(after all Obama is doing nothing to stop Iran's nuclear program *sarcasm*). Believe me, there would be no president Paul over a new state of Texas.

LOL!!!!!!!!!

Ask most Neo-Cons...most of them don't even know what the NDAA is or means! I had to explain it to many.

.

*In other words the establishment will still be running any secession*

Um yeah. I don't think 80,000

Um yeah. I don't think 80,000 people made log ins on a .gov website and signed this.
7.85 million people voted in the elections. 80,000 is roughly 2% of that, which is a fairly large chunk of the population (no where near a majority but 80,000 would make them the 40th largest populated city).

I'm not on Facebook so I don't know what the popularity of it on there is. I'll believe it when I see it.

Conclusion: freedom and prosperity to those who want it.

I dunno...

This is only the only "sign your name here" type of petition after all. But Texas could actually do it, they have oil, infrastructure, and lots of other stuff, if they have Mississippi or states that have water join, then I could see it happening.

I wonder if it became a country, we could have a president Paul.

They could!

I was watching on History Channel "How the States got their shapes"(really interesting info). They were talking about the U.S. having only three power grids. One in the east, one in the west and one in Texas. They have their own! They could do it!
