Probably be his most watched speech ever. Congress' loss will

be our gain, as we will have him unfettered by the Congressional rules and constant travel back and forth to DC. Lew Rockwell has said several times that Ron has exciting things planned. He is also writing one or two more books. Stay tuned!

If he doesn't get a standing

If he doesn't get a standing ovation, and if it's not 434 other Representatives sitting there listening to him, then I don't know what to say.

If they can all applause for Netanyahu, they must applause 10x longer for Dr. Paul.

very well made!

of course, we already know the spineless makeup of the other members of Dr. Paul's group.

He will be, forever, in our hearts!

God Bless You, Dr. Paul. And, Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

We are heart-felt and sad to see you go but your job is finished here and now it is up to the rest of us to keep the torch of Liberty burning!

I pray we are up to the task!

that would be great. would

that would be great. would love to see him get 720 standing ovations during one speech.

Dr. Paul's Successor

His successor is going to have mighty big shoes to fill!

There is no "successor".

There is no "successor". That's it, the last American is leaving the house of representatives. The rest are all romney/obama/gingrish/santorum clones. The closest "sounding" to Dr Paul has been rand paul and he's a traitor not a successor.

I get this weird sense of security having Paul in congress

I know it's not logical as he is only one man. I just feel better having him there. You know you can trust him and you always feel he's keeping an eye on those trying to roll out more tyranny.

It's a sad day for America the day he leaves for good. Other patriots in congress (surely there are a few) must step up together to try to fill his shoes.

He's a symbol of strength, wisdom, steadfastness, and perseverance. If only all of congress was like him! How did we get so many amazing founding fathers 240 years ago? Such an anomaly in all of history has to have been providence. I do hope that this particular history repeats itself!

Very well written... wholeheartedly agree.

Thank you Thimbleberry.

You can only imagine what

You can only imagine what he's going to say! Hopefully he doesn't hold anything back!

Don't expect anything out of

Don't expect anything out of character.

His speech

Should be a guideline to future years to come, just as Eisenhower's speech warned us of the Military Industrial Complex!

I wonder

I wonder if he's announcing he'll be back...in 2016...

There are three types of

There are three types of people in this world:

1) Those who make things happen
2) Those who watch things happen
3) Those who wonder what happened

Years from now, the third category will be watching a recording of this farewell speech…

an idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government

I was hoping for an organized event

in DC, in January that we could all could attend who wants to, so we can show our appreciation for all he's done.

Should be a classic.
