I have to tell you all what a great night last night was ... for me, anyway. A friend and I went to the party that was held by RP's state HQ to watch the returns come in with fellow supporters. What fun! To be in a huge ballroom FULL of fellow revolutionaries was truly inspiring -- and to watch the returns come in was just as great! I really question anybody who has a problem with RP's 4th place finish here. The real story was that he SMOKED two of the media's annointed front-runners!! Of course, the highlight of the night was a phone call from RON PAUL himself!! It was a great night - in a way, I almost feel bad that our day in Michigan has passed, but I can't wait to see how we can build upon this in the upcoming primaries.

I am so proud to be a part of this!! Vote Ron Paul - Contribute/Promote the next moneybomb (that RP himself mentioned on CNN) - spread the word!!!

kept hearing about the SIGNS everywhere! Even Detroit news channel mentioned it! GREAT JOB MICHIGAN!

Should have mentioned that my 18 year-old son wrote and excellent letter that was published in our local paper. He then took the same letter and sent it to the major Michigan daily papers and it was also published in several of them.

If you've done the work to write a letter, leverage your effort by sending it to many papers.

Ron Paul did well in our county. About six weeks ago I saw no indications of Ron Paul activity in our area. I contacted the Paul campaign in an adjacent county and a couple of hardworking volunteers got us going in our own town (thanks Mike and Kevin).

Our family's approach was threefold in our area.
1. Get signs posted in visible locations.
2. E-mail all in-state friends with Ron Paul info.
3. Door to door canvassing.

I think each of these elements played an important part. But I would add that I believe door to door canvassing is critical. So many people we ran into knew nothing of Ron Paul, but once we told folks about him, they were very interested. In my opinion, the internet has been huge for Ron Paul, but elections must be won door to door.

One more thing. All the canvassing we did was done with my four oldest boys (ages 18 down to 11). They loved it! I loved it too. Could not have been prouder to see my eleven and thirteen year olds holding their own on porches for Ron Paul.

This was a great learning opportunity for all of my boys. They matured through it. Make campaigning a family thing!

Most memorable moment: I was picking up my eleven year-old from a house as he was finishing a conversation with a lady. I asked him what she said and he replied, "I know of Ron Paul. I've been reading about him on the internet. He rocks."

For those of you who have been timid or reluctant to hit the streets for any reason, DO IT! You will not regret it. You will enjoy it. And you will help Ron Paul do well in your county.

Signs, Lit drops, Letter writing, radio ads , Canvassing, Sign waving. Get out everyday wear your Ron Paul hats, pins, t-shirts etc.
When I went out to eat I left a good tip and Ron Paul slim jim, dvd or anything
else I had. I bought 300 "Freedom to Fascism" dvds also made cds of Ron Paul interviews and speeches. Get creative, get out and get busy it is worth the effort. Have courage, have fun, have hope and we will succeed.

Looking at the county totals, RP did very well in some areas....I'm wondering if anyone from Michigan whose county did well for RP would give us info on what they felt worked for them.

Build off of this, this shows more and more people are catching on. Dr Paul needs to be in this for the long haul. The longer he is in it the better he will do.

Next money bomb needs to be big. If you cop out now, you were never a part of the rEVOLution. This is no place for the weak.
