We need to start saying, "The War on Liberty"

The Federal Government spends trillions of dollars on the War on Drugs and the War on Terror. It is also spending trillions of dollars on another war, a war that is secret to most Americans, but is well known to those of us here. It is a War on Liberty.

The Federal Government is moving as fast as it can to finalize the surveillance state, police state, prison state, and nanny state. It seeks to control our thoughts, voices, and actions through intimidation and force. It has a bottomless pit of newly created money to implement its anti-liberty desires.

The War on Drugs and War on Terror are smokescreens to obscure their real purpose. The real war is an absolute attitude of liberty genocide.

With the election results, and the fact that many Americans were introduced to the term libertarian for the first time in recent years, many Americans are primed to hear the message of liberty. Many Americans are just now starting to awaken from their slumber of cognitive dissidence. The time to educate and infuriate the masses to fight against tyranny has never been better.

We must all begin a new meme in the public discourse. I suggest we all begin using the term "War on Liberty" any time we discuss the corruption of government. We should use the term any time we discuss police trampling constitutional rights. We should use the term to expose tyrannical legislation at all levels. We should use the term any time we put something in print or speak on the radio.

We must make the War on Liberty a household term and topic of conversation.

Yes, I know we here at the DP know all of this, and have for a long time. But those three words, "War on Liberty", will stick in the minds of the newly awake and the concept needs no explanation.

No more "secret" war. It is time to out the War on Liberty in a very public way. Let us all make the "War on Liberty" something we say to someone every day.

"The war on liberty"

I like it, and who'd call liberty their enemy?

"Liberty is the enemy of all covetous men because it stands between them and what they unjustly want."

Ron Paul got it started, it's up to us to keep it going!
The Revolution continues!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

+1. Remember James

James 1:8 "A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways."

Double mindedness is a sure sign of cognitive dissonance, something many if not most Americans suffer from: War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, etc.

Kill the constitution to save freedom.

You get the picture.

Double-mindedness is the state people are in when they are self-deluded, regardless of their intention. Delusion is lying. Lying is a sin, regardless of whether you lie to someone else OR YOURSELF, for the teacher has already been sent to provide you with the enlightenment to enable you to NOT lie, including to yourself.

These poor saps need your prayers as their spiritual trajectory will not end up positively for them.

Check yourself as well. Rid yourself of self-delusion and doublemindedness.

It's a war on Honesty!

The war on honesty (both internaly and external) is preventing liberty, prosperity and peace.

The creation, production and fair exchange of values is the business of evolving consciousness, love and life.--Craig Johnson

That it is

and a war on truth as well.

Ron Paul already thought of that

and came up with the "Campaign for Liberty" - look it up.

There are only two political positions

that actually matter: Freedom vs. Enslavement. To "govern" MEANS to control ... to reduce freedom; that is what a governor does in a mechanical system.

The left right paradigm is B.S. but a very effective red herring.

Bill of Rights /Amendment X: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Do you need a politician or judge to "interpret" those 28

This is an outstanding idea!

I'm going to repost it on RPF.

What is freedom? Freedom is the right to choose; the right to create for
yourself the alternative of choice. Without the responsibility and exercise
of choice a man is not a man but a member, an instrument, a thing.
-- Archibald Macleish

excellent idea. The neocons can call it the war on terror, we

know what it is.

Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

Thank you FallonBrent for this excellent exhortation.

Sharing on our local Ron Paul Facebook page and with all my friends. It is an accurate statement of fact as the State continues to grow.
We are renaming our local "Ron Paul 2012" group, It occured to me that if one is Opposing thw War on Liberty, then one is an OWL keeping watch in the dark hours. Give a Hoot all through the night, till the Day of Liberty is restored.

With all due respect, I will no longer be a voting prostitute for Constitution rejecting harlots.

the death cult that runs this circus

... is engaged in a total war on life itself.

Watch the movie "The Fifth Element" and consider the huge ball of fire that approaches earth.

President Lindberg: One more reason to shoot first.
Priest Vito Cornelius: Evil begets evil, Mr. President. Shooting will only make it stronger

I recommend that the Liberty rloveution not adopt a slogan which is negative. Turn that thought upside down and you might just have something . . .

We will call the wars exactly what they are...War on Liberty. Great suggestion! Thanksgiving right around the corner may be a good time to introduce the idea to friends and family.

Great idea. And the bumper stickers will say?

"Don't consent to the War on Liberty"
"End the War on Liberty"

Help me out here.

Magna est veritas, et prevalebit. Truth is most powerful, and will ultimately prevail.

I already have one

that says.....Democrats Love Government, Republicans Hate Liberty. Sadly, the comment from most republicans to me is "what does that mean?"

great idea. Plant the seed and keep nurturing it.

let us only hope...

that the "War on Liberty" will then be as successful as the "War on Drugs" or "War on Poverty" has been! ;)

Those are subsets to the war on Liberty and have been successful in that regard. Bait & Switch? Same as the war on terror?

I am on board.

One of the best ideas in a

One of the best ideas in a while. War on drugs. War on marijuana. War on us. War on liberty.

Or something even simpler

War on Freedom. This may be a minor semantic difference, but I think the average brainwashed American responds more strongly (in a positive, emotional way) to the word "freedom" than to "liberty". Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the impression I've gotten.

Ron Paul just gave his speech

He used the word liberty more times than I can count right now.

There is a reason he named the organization Campaign for Liberty. There is a reason the founders used the word liberty in the Declaration of Independence. There is a reason the statue is called the Statue of Liberty.

Refer to these links to see why liberty is the right word.

Relieved to see you mention the Campaign for Liberty

we here really need to get behind him on it. :)

Thank you for putting it out there.

Ron Paul's speech...

is basically a speech on the War on Liberty.

You have started something new and great.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain

That is a fantastic idea

Because that's what it is - and as pointed out, everything else is framed as a "war" - drugs, poverty, illiteracy, terror, women, etc.

Let's add "The War on Liberty" to the list of wars on improper nouns...

I propose a new hash tag
