Dr. Paul gave his "Farewell to Congress" speech on the House floor/CSPAN today. The speech is over, but it is now archived on CSPAN.

Even though it won't be a President Paul's Farewell Address

I have no doubt this will be just as prescient, historic, and important as any speech he's given. It's just too bad that the nation he will be speaking about is one that has chosen a path toward tyranny rather than freedom.

It hurts to think of what could have been, but it's that same vision that gives me hope despite the dark days which are sure to follow.

He mentioned on the AJ show that one of his bullet points in his farewell address was pretty much how the Central banks run everything, i.e politicians and the war machine. I hope it will go down in youtube history and probably will, cant wait to see it. I hope i don't get choked up though- it sucks that he won't be in the house anymore :(

Put on CSpan and learned that this session is for hour long speeches (in the plural) and that Dr. Paul is "coming up later today". Can you post what you got from C4L here for us? Maybe his speech will be earlier than 3 pm?

full hour of the House floor. He has been working on this speech for some time now. May the entire nation LISTEN to him with utmost attention!

P.S. I hope Kucinich gets to leave an official fairwel speech as well. . . or maybe a better strategy is to have him regain his house seat in two years :-)

Ron Paul is a Constant

He is a statesman; to many he is our president; and he will exist in history books for a long, long while after many current "wannabes" are long forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy...those of us who believe in liberty due to his actions and words...not to mention his tenacity, his loyalty to principles, his many books, his speeches...oh and did I mention the liberty movement? I'm not taking any bets he is disappearing from the scene.
