When will we get the numbers?
Late Wednesday or sometime Thursday is a good estimate, because the campaign should have a "two-fer" to announce. At current rates, by mid-week the number of people on Ron Paul Meetups should top 50,000.
It's not just the money raised, it's the number of people actively working on their own outside the structure of the "official" campaign that has had so much to do with the campaign's growing success. After all, at the end of
the 2nd quarter, the estimate was that the volunteer activity then was worth $10 million per quarter. Imagine what it must be worth now.
I can't take it
Where are the numbers????!?!?!?!? I'm dieing of anticipation here...
Be patient...
Be patient...the campaign may be waiting a few days to allow the MSM faint over all of the "top tier" candidates. Then, when they release Dr. Paul's numbers they will have a greater impact.
agreed
Obama posted some impressive dollar figures today, so it's a safe bet not to release today. It sounds like the "top tier" candidates on the Republican side are getting seriously outraised by their Democratic counterparts. If Rudy or Mitt release low numbers, then Ron should try to publish shortly afterwards. It would look like an implosion of the "top tier". They did it with McCain.
DrudgeReport is saying Rudy and Mitt pulled 1/2 what Obama did. That would put them around $8-12 million. We know Dr. Paul has raised at least $3.5M by their blog. If Dr. Paul posts anything near $6 million, then that will be major news.
they have until the 15th of
they have until the 15th of October to report. I actually dont know what is better report first, last or in the middle or with a group.. I hope they know what they are doing..

Edwards $7 Million.
Thompson only $8 M, McCain $5 M. Dr. Paul has a chance of out raising them and will have more cash on hand for sure.
Give me liberty....

Richardson and Obama already announced
Something like $5.9 million and $18 million, respectively
Leave Them Clueless
Suggestion: Wait until after other campaigns announce THEIR numbers so that candidates will be unsure of how much to "chip in" to their own campaign to best the rest.
It's already too late for
It's already too late for the other campaigns to jigger their totals; only contributions received before midnight last night count.

Fezzler how could you lead us on like that... For shame...
results
results wont be for 15 days
don't the campaigns usually
don't the campaigns usually leak the numbers in the first few days of the new quarter?
I guess the ron paul compaign is waiting for the others to release their numbers to get some press coverage about how his numbers aren't so much different so he should be considered an electable candidate.
We will know today
That's not true. We will know today. However, official reports detailing everything will not be due to the FEC until October 15th.
Fezzler, are you sure? I
Fezzler, are you sure? I remember we didn't find out on July 2 after the end of the last quarter. We only learned the total once clips of his interview with George S. were on the 'net.
From what I've read
All the articles I've read and news stories I have seen indicate that all candidates should be expected to announce how much they raised today. Most already have, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ron Paul did the same. Again, I'm just saying we'll get to hear about how much they raised, not exact amounts or cash on hand.
arrrrgh
