Limbaugh, Levin, etc

They really didn't help the liberty movement when it counted, like the past 2 years. I mean they really really really really really really REALLY didn't help. Did I mention that they didn't help, at all?

My spidey senses are on high alert with the talk show hosts themselves, but I AM interested and more optimistic about their listeners honestly getting into the liberty movement. I'm all for letting people change their mind quietly. I wasn't always into Ron Paul, either ;-)

You know, every time a neocon

You know, every time a neocon or Democrat has something good to say about one of RP's ideas, that person gets scorned and called names on here, as if he has no right to any of the ideas unless he accepts everything RP says. It's like some people here absolutely love that the liberty movement is considered fringe. They love being the underdog. They love fighting against some enemy that will go down kicking and screaming and be vanquished on some momentous day. They hate the idea that the ideas will actually start to catch on, because then there is no defining "win" where the old guard gets flushed out. Politicians do not have real philosophies. They will change with the tide and do a complete 180 when they think it's politically wise. Romney is not unique that way. They're all more or less like him, aside from a few exceptions. Many of them will adopt the bare minimum of the ideas in order to please enough people and to keep the wind out of the sails of any third party.

So to those people who react with disgust every time an outsider to the liberty movement seems to like only a single idea, I have to ask, what did you expect? This is the way we change the minds of people, one issue at a time, one neocon talk show host at a time. Not many people will be complete converts. It's going to be a lot of people partially convinced of different issues and bastardizing or misrepresenting the rest of the issues. Every time we gain a little ground, you people just have nothing but bad things to say about the person, as if you really don't want these ideas to be adopted by anyone but pure libertarians (or anarchists). Grow up!

They're the same as the politicians

The pundits aren't "real." They work for the PTB who own govt. and media and the banking system. Their job is to protect the status quo. When they suddenly "get it" on some important issue, it's just an act. They have to put on the act because they know that more and more people are starting to see through the BS and they don't want their audience share to drop to zero. We know this because we've seen it before. O'Reilly and Hannity have said "I really like Ron Paul and understand what he's saying on many levels and wish he'd come on my show," then RP would agree to it and they would pull all the usual dirty tricks. He wised up and stopped accepting their invitations. They've pulled the old "bait and switch" trick on us so many times, they've lost all credibility. I'm really glad when people educate themselves and start genuinely believing in liberty and seeing through the lies of the MSM. The tv and radio personalities are not genuine, they are doing their job and if they stopped doing the job, they'd be fired. They're never going to be on our side. Many of us have finally accepted this. Maybe it will take a few more baits & switches before you're able to face it.

Rush is a bottom feeder.

not a week after the election he is trying to co-opt RP. I actually think this presents an opportunity for us. All the ditto heads that wouldn't even consider an idea that came from RP because they didn't want rush to call them kooky might be open to reading a book. I think we should co-opt the co-opters and try to get an RP book in their hands.

another thing I thought was hilarious:

DITTO HEAD: "Absolutely. And as far as this morality thing goes, I tell you, it just makes me sick because, you know, you talked about how, you know, we're getting away from morality. Well, the very people that are teaching us that morality doesn't count and it's not important anymore are the same people that are persecuting David Petraeus. So, I mean, it's as crazy as it can be."

HAHA.. yes.. and its the very people that claim to represent morality that are defending Petraeus, so YES it is as crazy as it can be.

Whatever Rush

And your so smart that your just now figuring this out?

Go eat a Vicodin cause your face is killing me....

Guess what Rush, Ron Paul also said that the internet is the future for information, not propagandist state media like the EIB network....

For Freedom!
The World is my country, all mankind is my brethren, to do good is my religion.

that guy did more than most to ensure

there's a democrat in the oval office for his second term. I've no idea why people pay the slug any heed.

All these faux-conservatives are a cancer on liberty.

Rush and these guys make their living from propagating division

around our one party system with two heads. When then can't find it naturally they contrive it to drive ratings. Real liberty is based in truth.

"A vote for the lesser of two evils is a vote to keep things the same", Buckminster Fuller..
A choice for liberty is always a choice for liberty.

Yes Rush, you are the party of liberty.

Liberty to be corrupt, lying warmongers that invoke the Constitution only when it's convenient and use same as toilet paper when it becomes an inconvenience.

This is wrong

Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin have been terrific since November 6. They are NOT neoconservatives like Kristol. They are patriots who have bought into the lie about foreign intervention. But they are coming our way. Each is a liberty Republican.

If your main issue is anti-war then I can understand how you got to where you are. But war is only one aspect of our battle with the state.

You are SO fucking wrong,

You are SO fucking wrong, dude. These clowns are not friends of liberty. No way, no how.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

WE? OMG! What a precotious little tub of butter!

WE. As if.

Most of those who think so actually don't and most people who think sew actually rip.

More - these guys are seeing the light

Beck said the other day that Ron Paul was right about the Patriot Act and he was wrong.

We are changing their minds. They know they need us. We showed them this election season. WE should invite this emerging coalition and not be stubborn about it. Let them in. The country is on the line.

We are changing their strategy, not their mind.

How many times will you watch them back-peddle to get you to "let them in" again and fall for it?
Beck is a traitor, as is Limbaugh. These people know exactly what they are doing and who they are doing it for. They are not "seeing the light" they are repositioning to keep the light on themselves, and deflected away from truth.

Eloquently Put

I couldn't agree more. Their stories don't add up. If they really cared about freedom and liberty there's no way they would've put Ron Paul down the way they did during the campaign. They are NOT to be trusted EVER.

They won't be "converted" ever. However, their listeners are worth trying to convince since they are regular human beings who, if the argument gets presented correctly, could well convert to the ideas of freedom/liberty.

They wanted to win

and they thought Paul had no chance which is probably true. Paul didn't really want to win. He wanted to run. Paul affected the discourse which is what he wanted. They got the message.

Come on folks. This is our power - the conservative grass roots.

Do You Really Believe That?

Personally, I think you're being naive if you do believe that.

Former CIA director William Colby was quoted as saying "The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media"

If you want to try to convince Rush's listeners then I'm all in. If you think, even for a second, that there's any chance of convincing Rush Limbaugh and his ilk then (I believe) you are mistaken.

When did you discover Ron Paul?

I want you to understand, you are being played. We have all been through this a hundred times with these characters. They try to win us over with a great interview with Ron Paul, then they close the show with "He's such a great guy, but he can't win so don't vote for him." If you cannot take my word for it, or the word of those who obviously agree with my statement, all I ask is just be wary. Go ahead and try to work with them, but do not ever forget what your friends at the DP said.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

I don't think they even go that far

I don't know that they say Ron Paul is a great guy. They say he's a kook. Maybe they'll agree w/ some of his fiscal conservatism but these guys are the propaganda arm of the government and thus need to promote military spending. They're there to paint Dr. Paul as an unelectable fool who is trying to bring the country back to the stone age economically (gold standard, no fed) while, in the process, leaving up wide open for a military strike against us. It's a strong case of psy-ops. The average Joe out there probably doesn't know any better, nor has heard the truth from the media or teachers and probably doesn't have time to look up alternative media. That's also part of having a bad economy with a weak dollar. People do everything possible just to get by. They don't have the leisure time to seek out other forms of information.

When they interview him they are chummy chummy

It is only behind his back and in front of a camera they treat him like chum.

These guys love the country. They just happen to have some beliefs that need to change. Ron Paul is a conservative. These guys are conservatives. Paul is being very clear that our problem is that we have lost virtue - which is a very conservative idea. Our difference is in whether we believe in an aggressive foreign policy of nonintervention. Otherwise Paul is pretty close with the grass roots conservatives. We need to mend fences, agree to oppose the statist conservatives and the progressives and get on with it. This is how we will win.

These guys love their

These guys love their ratings, they could care less about the country. These guys are shitbags who support killing innocent brown kids in the middle east, presidential kill lists, indefinite detention, locking up kids here for drug use. Wake the fuck up!

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

It`s not just BROWN

Kids that they kill!!!!!! They have been killing white kids in this counrty for many years how many were killed in the War of nothern aggression(civil war) how about ww1 and ww2 and all the others. I get tired of statments that sound PC maybe thats not what you meant but thats the way it sounded and It`s not just Black/Brown/White/yellow it`s about Liberty against Tyranny they don`t care about race/color they care about power and Rush and Beck are both controled opposition or low life scum which ever you prefer!

This is the coalition

We should be cultivating. With apologies to my lefty libertarian friends. The Limbaugh grass roots and the Paul revolutionaries. This is the natural conservative coalition. Had the Repubs been smart enough to find common ground this election cycle, a Republican would have won last week. All it would take is a bit of moderation on foreign intervention and a better understanding of the Federal Reserve - and a bit of moderation from us Paul people with respect to our anti-war philosophy and more clarity with respect to how bad Obama is for the country.

Now that the Republican establishment has been discredited (Limbaugh and Levin hate them as much as we do)we can go about the work of forging this conservative populist coalition. Dr. Paul can help by talking more like a conservative like he did in much of his farewell speech. Continue to focus on virtue and morality and a bit less about blowback. The welfare state is just as dangerous as the warfare state, especially now that a welfare pimp has won reelection.

Not going to click that link

Can't do it.

I feel the same way.

I haven't clicked on a Rush or Beck link in 5 years. Evil, corrupt, sold out fakes.

Peace aside for the

Peace aside for the I would love to kick Rush's ass. The nerve of this guy. Everybody post the campaign for liberty's request to contact representatives on their facebook page. We own the liberty movement and will continue to fight for the people. Piss on Rush.

Truth before all is what will allow us to emerge with dignity and honor.

This guy had his day

But, this is the day of the liberty movement. I don't care what he has to say.

Fuck Rush! Goddamned drug

Fuck Rush! Goddamned loud mouth junkie... He tried to twist the words with his morality rant gee why didn't he sound bite what Dr Paul had to say about morality? Because he is a POS! I think we have more important things to worry about then gay marriage and abortion rights...

We are heading for total collapse you think anyone will be worried about if some gays marry or a women has an abortion then?

Dr Paul gave us a blueprint in that speech for peace prosperity and liberty but these bastards are still up to the same ole bullshit!... Sigh!

End The Fat
70 pounds lost and counting! Get in shape for the revolution!

Get Prepared!

This probably shows how big our movement has gotten

Rush is absolutely NOT part of our movement and he's obviously trying to co-opt it. However, the fact that he's acknowledging Ron Paul like this might mean that he can't *not* talk about it anymore. I think his listeners were dwindling (though he still has a lot of them) and so he needs to appeal to a wider audience. But it's the same co-opt the message type stuff as always. He acts like he's part of (and always has been part of) the liberty movement.

Also, I love the sentence below. If any of his listeners think Ron Paul is "kookville" it's probably because Rush has hammered that into their brains during the campaign. His use of the word "we" is sickening though. Rush, as far as the liberty movement goes, you are NOT part of "WE".

"I know a lot of you think we're listening to kookville here, but, for me, this nails it. We are the party of liberty."

We really need to call him out on this

We should call in to his show and remind him and his listeners how he did everything he could to undermine the liberty movement and how he verbally attacked Ron Paul. Above all, we need to tell him that we completely reject him and that he isn't and never will be part of the liberty movement.
