Ben Swan co worker at Fox 19 suspended for calling Rachel Maddow "angry young man"

A Fox news anchor was back on the air Tuesday night following a 2-day suspension for calling MSNBC host Rachel Maddow an "angry young man" on Facebook.

Tricia Macke, an anchor for Ohio's Fox 19, took to her personal Facebook page last month to rant against the cable news personality, writing "Rachel Maddow is such an angry young man" on Oct. 12.
She was quickly criticized by her Facebook followers, who compared the comment to making racist jokes.

"I am sorry," Macke wrote to one such fan. "I should have said antagonistic."

Commenters then took issue with the fact that the anchor did not acknowledge that her choice of words in calling Maddow a "man" was offensive.

"I knew what I was saying," Macke responded.

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Imagine if this person had

Imagine if this person had made a racist remark instead of a sexist remark. I would hope that most of us would then agree that he deserved a suspension.

no suspension

for racism or homoism. We need to start fighting back.

Wonder why that is

Why is 'racism' the absolutely worst ism that anyone can practice? Why is practicing that ism worse than others? I always see people comparing others isms to racism, as if NOTHING could possibly be worse.

I'm guessing it's pushed more than the other isms simply because it's the easiest way to divide and conquer the public.

Yes

It is sociopathy. The leftist little men like Obama hide behind race and use race as in the Benghazi incident to defend against legitimate attacks. These are despicable little worm-men who came in last at every game at recess and tattled to the teachers that the rules weren't fair. They are terrible creatures that need to be run out of government.

I think ti is because racism

I think ti is because racism has played such a dirty part in the history of our nation. It takes a very small human being to think he is superior to others because of his place of origin or the color of his skin!

Yeah

It sure does, although it's not as 'black and white' as some people make it out to be (especially the PC crowd and the "all Xs are Ys" crowd).

The oversimplification of virtually all aspects of not only our history as Americans, but the histories of our respective ancestors have been tainted and politicized to the point that I don't think it'll ever be fully undone.

Then again, it's all par for the course in the grand scheme of things, isn't it?

I could have easily ...

I could have easily made the same mistake if I didn't have on my new glasses.
