ABC's "Last Resort" is history

Who'duv thunk that the MSM would cancel a show about a power mad President starting a false flag nuclear war and trying to sink one of his own sub's who wouldn't cooperate.

Doesn't surprise me - it only

Doesn't surprise me - it only had 2 good episodes - the first one and the one where the govt. negotiators came ashore. All the others were duds and I finally decided I wasn't going to watch anymore this week

I've been watching it.

I like it. Been watching it for free on hulu. Just saw episode 7 last night. They actually said "false flag", to my surprise. I'm not at all surprised to see it get cancelled though.

Try RUBICON...that was

Try RUBICON...that was another great show that got canceled...

Ron Paul or Bust

Was It A Good Show?

I stopped watching after the 2nd episode. The first one was very good. But then it just went downhill. Just simply not very good. You need more than false flags to keep me interested. Guess I'm not alone.

Try the episode 'Skeleton Crew'

Good or better than the first IMO.

Leges sine moribus vanae

Disappointed

Finally, there was a show that wasn't afraid to talk about false flag attacks being used to "prove" America had to get into another war.

Finally, there was a show that wasn't afraid to show members of the military questioning their orders.

Finally, there was a show that wasn't afraid to explain the corrupt nature of politicians and the lengths they would go to grab hold of power.

I have greatly enjoyed this show.

.exactly!

and exactly again~

It was ABC's 'last resort'!

This should have been a mini-series. As it turns out, one season is a now the new definition of a mini-series. If you want a better replacement, you need to be watching Homeland over on Showtime. Now that is the best series on TV today. Well, American Horror Story is right up there with it. What a sick world we live in.

Ron Paul 2012; Rand Paul 2016

Yeah disapointed but they are

Yeah disappointed but they are supposed to finish out the season with it. I think its main problem it was put up against a current power house of Big Bang theory and 2 half men. It actually has a lot more viewers even still than a lot of other shows that they are keeping, but since they consider the 8pm time slot on thursday as the star time it has to have much higher viewer ship to stand up compared to say friday or even later on in the evening on thursday. I hate that the networks feel they have to try and put all there best shows on at the same time and than like Saturday there is never anything worthwhile to watch in virtually the history of that night its almost always crap across the board.

bleh..

my pardon to anyone who watches either of those conflicting programs but honestly.. *biting my tongue*

I am disappointed.

The first couple episodes I was not to sure, but it was getting good and now this. The characters were really developing and I was happy to have a show both my husband and I could enjoy.

Now I can't sit down with my

Twinkies and watch my submarine show anymore? Seriously I was enjoying the political "incorrectness" of this show much more than the story line

Did you say.."Twinkies"? Need more? I sell 24 in a case box....

fresh 264 of 'em (when I cleaned out my local Food 4 Less).

That's it. I'm officially a prepper.

:)

I actually purchased and ate my first Twinkies in 25 years

yesterday Morning along with my Coffey, they were actually as good as I remember them.

Exactly why I bought some for the first time

In 25 years lol

Please reset you calendars to Twinkie time. Why you say? Expiration date.

Worry about the end of the Twinkie calandar? Ha! You should live so long.

Just sold 4 cases online from my last post so far, so come Mon..

it's off my hands (at this rate, 7 case boxes to go)....Btw, expiration is Dec 5 the freshest.

Frankly, I've only eaten 2-3 in my lifetime. NEVER liked Twinkies.

Don't you just love free markets. :p

I do like the free market. The flea market. The farmer market.

The "freshest by" date is an oddity. A stretch. Obviously, the freshest date is the day the live ingredients were harvested. Legend has it, once sealed in its package, a Twinkie ® lasts a long, long time. Forever, perhaps. This is not the case. Here is a wonderful tale about Twinkie's birth, life, legend & demise.

Forever Twinkies

Claim: Hostess Twinkies have an indefinite shelf life.

False.

Twinkies were created in 1930 as ladyfinger-shaped spongecakes enrobing a banana filling at the Hostess bakery in Schiller Park, Illinois.

Twinkies have a shelf life of twenty-five days, not seven years, and certainly not fifty years. Even so, twenty-five days is an unusually long time for a baked product to stay fresh. The secret to Twinkies' longevity is their lack of dairy ingredients: because dairy products are not part of the formula, Twinkies spoil much more slowly than other bakery items.

Ingredients: (serving size: 500 million Twinkies)

  • Cream [non-dairy] filling
  • Eight million pounds of sugar,
  • Seven million pounds of flour
  • One million eggs to produce
  • Bake throughout the year, every year to meet demand.

Twinkies gained notoriety in American jurisprudence in 1979 when the media widely misreported the claim that Dan White, on trial for shooting San Francisco mayor George Moscone and city supervisor Harvey Milk, asserted that his consumption of junk foods such as Twinkies "had left him with diminished capacity for reason."

This is for you, MT...

Crave a Twinkie? The price is going up fast online

http://www.seattlepi.com/news/texas/article/Crave-a-Twinkie-...

Whatever.

Delightful news.

From your linked news article:
A hearing on Hostess's liquidation request is scheduled for Monday morning.

Not all online sellers are demanding top dollar. Some boxes are being listed at $5 to $20. Others are willing to barter. "I am willing to trade a box for some good microbrew. A real quality six pack," offered a thirsty New York seller on Craigslist.

[Note from MT: The judge may well dismiss their petition. Obviously, their inventory is marked way below market prices as evidenced by eBay & Craigslist alone. Hostess should not be seeking the mercy of the court. They should be selling their inventory & full market price. Then declare a giant going-out-of-business dividend should they wish to go out of business.]

Delightful indeed. I'm down to...

3 cases as of this writing....(raking it in).

I LOVE Ebay!!!

The shock is

that something as politically incorrect as this ever got on MSM at all, even with Andre Braugher who could be compelling just reading the phone book.

Probably not eligible for the "propaganda subsidy" from the military either.

Where

did you learn about this?

I hate to admit that I was actually watching a "network TV drama" and was even somewhat intrigued by it. I'm usually a documentary nerd and never watch a lot of fictional stuff, especially on TV.

This last episode, the words "false flag" were actually used and it was starting to get a little more interesting. I thought that the show was going to continue after Thanksgiving. Maybe it was getting too popular, and TPTB shut it down.

I was curious

about Last Resort from the very beginning and surprised that they let it get this far. So many of the political/military questionable acts are/were brought up each show that maybe they were concerned the sheeple would start to bleat and wake up. bleh... there is still Homeland..

Generally I'm more of a documentary type but will watch something that catches my eye and I was glad to see something on with a little meat to it instead of all fluff and silicone.

BSG (new one)

In the new Battlestar Galactica, there was a scene on New Caprica where the humans were being trained by the cylons to be police. Resistance humans went in with suicide vests and blew up the cylons and the "traitor humans".

I'm somewhat surprised that series didn't go off the air after that episode. I suppose when it's toasters on other planets, the fluoride-filled masses don't make the association.

This show, though, was directly about a US president and false flags and our Constitution. Can't make people think that much...

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

I totally agree

I was amazed from the very first episode that mainstream tv would allow such an eye opener... I quickly referred it to every one I could.

Now that is has been apparently canceled I am curious to find out what the actors take on the program would be.

Thanks

Isn't there a way to see what the ratings are for a TV show online?

I'm curious if they were actually doing it because they didn't "specifically target women" and the ratings suffered.

Oh well. We now return you to your to your regular scheduled "the big boob theory' and "two and a half brain cells."
