Kyle Bass: "...War Is Inevitable"

............Trillions of dollars of debts will be restructured and millions of financially prudent savers will lose large percentages of their real purchasing power at exactly the wrong time in their lives. Again, the world will not end, but the social fabric of the profligate nations will be stretched and in some cases torn. Sadly, looking back through economic history, all too often war is the manifestation of simple economic entropy played to its logical conclusion. We believe that war is an inevitable consequence of the current global economic situation.

I was thinking

about the inevitable wars and wondering where the soldiers will come from (short of forcing conscription). Then I put on my Hegelian Dialectic hat and realized that the current belief that one MUST have a college dergree and MUST go into to debt to get one is the way they will get their soldiers...semi-literate ones, at that, good officer material.

Early twenty-something person has got a college degree and a huge loan, can't find a job (even though they followed the meme that this was the supposed right path to success), government offers a job in the military and loan forgiveness if you serve so many years.

Solves so many problems...if you ignore the fact that you could get killed.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

Thanks for a bump

I was just searching for quotes on tyranny.
Here is quite a few of them:

War is the ultimate tyranny for the soldier-slave.
That is what comes to my mind.
