It's amazing to me....
....that some of you think Ron is just going to "leave it to chance" after 35 years of working for smaller government and more freedom. You think he is just going to crawl into a hole and die while his "demon spawn" joins the establishment. You guys honestly don't think that Ron and Rand have been planning this 2016 thing for years. You think they don't talk to each other about how Rand needs to present himself to succeed where Ron did not. You think Ron is just sitting on the sidelines while the establishment kidnaps his most influential son. Worst of all, you think that someone doing the exact same things Ron did, is going to win the White House. The truth is that someone like Ron had to lay the foundation in the party and for the country, so someone like Rand could eventually be elected.
Free market capitalism isn't right for America because it works better. It's right because it's free (and it works better).
Agreed
It's a bit disappointing to see some try to claim there is more space than there really is between Ron and Rand as far as ideology is concerned. They are pretty close. I try to stay out of the arguments though. Not my business who someone wants to support. It does get under my skin a bit though when some seem to be trying to campaign AGAINST Rand. Makes me wonder what some will say when Ron supports and even campaigns for Rand come 2016.
Very well said.
I have absolutely no problems with this, we could actually see the federal reserve audited and then of course taken apart after. Nothing matters in America until that evil institution is gone. It is the catalyst for EVERYTHING wrong with America right now.
Don't forget
Rand Paul was the first one to mention that maybe we need an audit of the Pentagon also. My jaw dropped when he said that in the RNC convention.
I wish...
...I could up-vote more then once. :)

I feel slimy every time I
I feel slimy every time I watch a Rand Paul video.
Did you catch him saying "I'm not the one who will make that decision" and then quickly change it? He is owned by the man now, he is their compromise candidate. I can hear them now "Ok, you pesky libertarians, we'll throw you some weed, but we still are going to take over the world and put it in a police state." He doesn't have strong values, you can tell he is willing to change his message to whatever would win him an election.
It would be a hard sell for me to vote for him, and as of right now, I wouldn't.
If a Senator came along who's
If a Senator came along who's voting record matched up 99% with Ron Paul's, would you vote for him?
Read Justin Raimondo's piece
Read Justin Raimondo's piece on Rand and you will discover that Rand is no Ron Paul.
Not even in terms of votes.
Stop with the disinformation campaign.
The only mention of voting
The only mention of voting record I saw in that piece was of the Iran sanctions, which everyone knows about, which is why I said 99% instead of 100%. He also conveniently forgot to mention that Rand was the 1 no vote in the most recent 90-1 vote on the Iran war resolution.
Can you cite any other voting examples besides this one?
Somewhere out there is a new
Somewhere out there is a new champion who is genuine in his platform following Ron Paul's legacy. Why all this hype on Rand Paul???? It's a spin-ster's web that is being woven.
I think that someone has been identified already
he's a rep from Michigan. : )
November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul
Yes
Justin Amash is a good guy, Kerry Bentivolio, in my district in MI is another. Both of them support Rand.
However, BOTH of those guys received help from Rand in getting elected. He even lent campaign staffers to Bentivolio for his campaign, and without him I doubt Bentivolio would have won.

It is sad
but the MSM, although dwindling in their scope, will still be the powerhouse media in the 2016 presidential campaigns. They like Rand Paul. Ron Paul was a extremely hard sell on the American people, and we got the results most of us level headed revolutionists figured we would get. We have a shot at the presidency with Rand, we have a shot to have the federal reserve audited, OUR NUMBER ONE ISSUE!!!
Rand Paul 2016.
There is no way TPTB will let him anywhere near the presidency
After what we witnessed with his dads run, an orchestrated black out by the two party system combined with the MSM suppression, it won't happen.
We will make RAND PAUL President and then prosecute TPTB
They will be judged and they will be sentenced once we have a President with some guts to stand up to TPTB and do it.
Everyone else, all of their victims, will be PARDONED by such a President.
.
What is with you Rand haters?
What is with you Rand haters? Sure he plays politics more than Ron ever would, but you act as if he wasnt raised by Ron, you act like he doesnt have the same ideals. I will agree that he is no Ron Paul, but just because of the fact that he plays the game to some degree is precisely why he will have a chance to win, he wont be blacked out, he is less likely to have major vote flipping, etc. Will he close all overseas bases once president? Probably not, but he will shut down most of them....he is more likely to start the ball rolling in a direction we want than someone who is never elected. Say what you want....but he was raised by Ron Paul and shares the same values...thats good enough for me, aside from his vote for sanctions on Iran, his record is clean...everyone makes mistakes.
Somebody will lie to your
Somebody will lie to your face but if they say what you want to hear you'll give up the booty. Well then enjoy as it ain't no different then what you're already getting.
The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good things is my religion. Thomas Paine, Godfather of the American Revolution
That little line just tops it for delusionality on this website
"he is less likely to have major vote flipping"
You have a very short time to sort out electronic vote fraud and correct it or you can forget 2016.And I mean at every level in the process including all straw polls and caucuses.
November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul
I think it's clear that Rand
I think it's clear that Rand Paul does NOT share the same political values. The interview sounded quite scripted.
I agree Rand is a scripted
I agree Rand is a scripted automaton now.
Shame people are blind.
Rand needs to educate himself on the Cannabis Hemp Plant
If he would have talked about how the Republicans are going to do everything in their power to educate all Americans in planting & utilizing the Hemp Plant for everything God intended us to use it for. A home grown source for the cleanest burning FUELS. A FOOD thats high in healthy fats and protein. FIBER thats second to none. and the MEDICINE that we get from the Oils of this plant is like no other..the cannabinoids that this plant produces CURE DISEASE...
Now if Rand was to have said this and this is what the Republicans were now pushing for..this plant and this plant alone will make either party the winner. But it aint going to happen unless those in the Spot Light speak the truth..if Obama had 1/2 a brain he would put out a STOP sign to his gangsters in the DEA..and change the ruling on Cannabis. There would be NO MORE ARRESTS for being in possesion of a NON TOXIC VEGETABLE..in fact Hemp is going to be grown for our fuel here in America starting NOW. And as soon as he says this a shot rings out and Big Oil put a bullet in his head for opening the door to them losing TRILLIONS...sad but true.
The Light of Truth still needs to be shined on these Cockroaches..but all hells going to break lose with these Gangsters UNTIL we get a majority of the Americans educated on this plant. Not another plant on EARTH has been more demonised then the Cannabis Hemp Plant..PERIOD. Ive been preaching this for decades and NOW I see light at the end of the tunnel..and I hope that Rand and others in DC have seen the light and get this Gift from God GROWING!! EVERYWHERE FOR EVERYTHING!
Cannabis Hemp Oil CURES DISEASE
I think Rand co-sponsored a bill
that will legalize hemp growth in Kentucky. Saw it on the DP not too long ago.
You're Right...
...I posted this about a month ago: http://www.dailypaul.com/259324/rand-paul-pushing-to-legaliz...

Who is he going to betray
Who is he going to betray next?
$500. cash money for anyone who zaps his ass with a nice big fat ripe tomato in the head. A g-note if it's a rotten egg.
The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good things is my religion. Thomas Paine, Godfather of the American Revolution
and he pretty much announces his 2016 run
You forgot to mention, lol
http://iroots.org/2012/11/20/rand-paul-interested-in-2016/
ABC: 2016, is there going to be another Paul for president campaign?
Rand Paul: That’s classified…Am I interested in thinking about that? Yeah.
