This is what happens when you try and ignore the Ron Paul movement

Via: EPJ, via Gawker, via reddit

You lose the election, end up pumping your own gas and looking like this.

"Mitt Romney at my local gas station [in La Jolla, California]... he looks tired and washed up," wrote Redditor/photographer mkb95.

So you won the 'Day On The Road With Mitt' contest...

Just don't take any pictures without asking first. OK?

Anybody see Jay Leno

Where he pans out and the picture shows Romney refueling a jet plane. Hilarious!

Where's Joan The Silencer when ya need her?

If only he had flipped the script and quit...

There's no greater story told than a life of redemption. He could have had all the angels crying, but instead, all he's gonna get is a free hotdog with purchase.

He's probably relieved that he he didn't win.

Winning the presidency now means being the puppet and taking orders from the devils that own this country.

Just think what Ann Romney looks like at home without makeup!

Yikes, no wonder he skipped out to get some gas.

He looks like he is on the run from her... tears of smeared eye shadow... as she screams "Where did my Secret Service servants go? Boo Hoo."

THIS MAN SCREWED OVER THE ENTIRE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND HANDED COUNTLESS OFFICES TO DEMOCRATS IN HIS FLIP FLOPPING WAKE IN THE BIGGEST SHAM SINCE MADOFF.

This pic reminds me of a real life 'Trading Places'. Someone bet

$1.00 Romney could be converted to a heathen.

I don't hate Mitt Romney

I've probably looked much worse than that pumping gas before. This image belongs on in a tabloid, not the DP.

Brilliant...

And Priceless!

We lost, he lost. Obama is not a win for us. You will see that again in 2016 and 2020.

Also, simple integrity is nice. We praise RP working his own front lawn in casual attire as an act of a people's person. We could not understand why our oppornents laughed at RP's often mumbling delivery instead of concentrating on his correct message.

It looks like he slept in his clothes on the couch last night.

If Mittens had simple integrity nobody here would be making fun of him. His gang was one of the worst to ever try and steal an election,he deserves the jeers.

Friend on Facebook took a picture

At Disneyland today in Southern California (the original gas station photo was taken in La Jolla, CA which confirms the Southern California location) and Mitt was wearing exactly what he was wearing in that gas station photo. She posted it on FB because she thought it was awesome meeting somebody famous!

"What did I do after throwing the election to Obama?

I went to Disneyland!"

This seems appropriate, somehow.

He just bought a bag. He introduced himself to his annoying pot smoking neighbors, and now he's looking for a Hostess ding dong and a bag of chips.

Movie themes

Looks like the well-to-do cattle rancher Jordan “Bick” Benedict, Jr. played by Rock Hudson in the epic movie GIANT. He went into the restaurant arrogant and full of himself and left beaten after he got his a** kicked by the proprietor. He learned that money, influence, power and hubris don’t make you a winner.

In real life Rock said, “I can`t play a loser - I don`t look like one.”
Oh, the irony of it as we see Mitt, the loser, pouring his own gas mumbling to himself “I coulda been a contender, I coulda been somebody instead of a bum, which is what I am”…(Brando in On the Waterfront) thinking….if it weren’t for those damned paulbots!

Objection

Mitt would indeed pump his own gas. Why pay someone to do something he can do himself? He never had servants in any of his houses, etc. He does look exceedingly tired. He must've had a long car trip. He'd rather drive cross-country, apparently, on his own with his wife, than fly a plane.

Basically, I see no story here. Sorry if my bursting the mocking bubble incites some down votes.

"He'd rather drive cross-country, apparently, on his own with

his wife, than fly a plane."
.
Probably to save his wife the humiliation of a TSA body cavity search.
.
The TSA that he supports, BTW, for his own safety.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Maybe

The point I was trying to make is that he's more like Scrooge than royalty: he'll get as much money as he can, and he'll penny-pinch it. Or he's just really good at saving and keeping money, which frugality is a virtue, and he will spend it on his family, which is another virtue, but he has no qualms against trying to get more money from taxpayers and such. He just doesn't see the inconsistencies and the problems his positions and actions cause others (either that, or he's truly evil, which is probable, but I prefer giving people the benefit of a doubt.).

So, I see nothing to mock here. He's no longer in the spotlight, so he can go back to being himself, which is what this picture shows.
