This is what happens when you try and ignore the Ron Paul movement

Via: EPJ, via Gawker, via reddit

You lose the election, end up pumping your own gas and looking like this.

"Mitt Romney at my local gas station [in La Jolla, California]... he looks tired and washed up," wrote Redditor/photographer mkb95.

It's easy to make fun of Romney...

...but why make his religion a part of it? Plenty of us Mormons are lovers of liberty and supported Dr. Paul. You may think we're crazy or dumb or whatever but can't we let others live their lives without ridiculing their personal beliefs? After all, don't we want the liberty movement to welcome more people, and not turn them away?

No offense intended, brother...

I was poking fun at Romney's unholy ambition in THIS life by referencing his beliefs as a Mormon about the next. No slight against the Mormon religion or Mormons in general was intended.

Many might consider my religious beliefs a bit unorthodox, as evidenced by this thread I just posted:

As glass houses and stones do not mix, I have nothing but respect for the religious beliefs of others, Mormons included. Peace.

Mitt could have been a contender...

...if he had only purged his deadweight neocon advisers and embraced the future that is our Liberty Movement (and Ron Paul).

Instead, he's become an object of ridicule and derision -- the living, breathing embodiment of a once-in-a-lifetime political opportunity, now irretrievably lost.

There he goes again...

There he goes again... Redefining "Mit Romney Style."

It's funny cause your factually wrong.

Look at the election results, for third party votes. Even if romney had EVERY vote not For Obama, he still loses by over 1.3 million votes.

So while ignoring the liberty movement didn't do him and favors, it did not by any means become the deciding factor in his loss.

Not trying to downplay the role of the liberty movement, but I like to be factual.

You are also ignoring the electoral college...

...where small swings in voting can result in disproportionately large swings in electors.

You are ignoring the millions who didn't bother voting...

...because there was no meaningful choice offered.

Along with others who voted for

Obama out of spite for what Willard and his neocon buddies pulled at the convention. Maybe not all that many but, still.

Judge a man by his character, not the quality of his appearance

Romney sucks because of his beliefs, not his wrinkled clothes and messy hair.

Frankly, even in this disheveled state, Mitt looks better than the average Ron Paul supporter. So let's not throw stones in glass houses.

Maybe he adopted this look to hide in plain sight

Mitt's polished image is so easily recognizable that maybe he scuffed himself up a bit so that he might not be so easily noticed pumping his own gas.

Liberty looks better on any RP supporter, than tyranny on any version of Romney, eh?

Man he really looks like

Man he really looks like Bruce Campbell in this picture.

Do not sully his Holy Chinness's good name!

But yeah, Bruce Campbell should do this exact same shot some time.

looks like

he was driving with the windows down...not like he's drunk or running over people like his former opponent Teddy Kennedy
