Gee...Surprised? Newly Released Emails Say No Sailors Watched bin Laden’s Burial at Sea After Navy SEAL Raid

The Washington Post is stiring the pot on this, read it before it gets pulled...

WASHINGTON POST: — Internal emails among U.S. military officers indicate that no sailors watched Osama bin Laden’s burial at sea from the USS Carl Vinson and traditional Islamic procedures were followed during the ceremony.

The emails, obtained by The Associated Press through the Freedom of Information Act, are heavily blacked out, but are the first public disclosure of government information about the al-Qaida leader’s death. The emails were released Wednesday by the Defense Department.

Madeline Albright told Fox News in 2003 that Bin Laden was dead and was being kept on ice.

Benezir Bhutto, former Pakistani Prime Minister, in 2007, also confirmed Bin Laden's death soon after she took a bullet to the head for saying it.

Doctors confirmed that Bin Laden had kidney disease, which started around 1998, that, in even in the best case scenario, a person with his condition lives no more than 5 years. It must have been a real challenge to hump around a 200 lb. kidney dialysis machine in the hills of Tora Bora

Shortly thereafter, many of the members of Seal Team 6, the group that participated in the raid, were killed in a helicopter crash. (AJ's Take)

Anyone with more than 2 functioning brain cells knows the whole thing was a hoax when Obama claimed to have killed Bin Laden.

God, people are SO gullible.

Those truly in the know and have known since early 2001........

of Osama Bin Laden's early demise due to Renal Failure since this aforementioned year. Respectfully, SableArms.

Remember the timing on this

The raid on Osama happened right after the BC was released. It's like playing a trump card, no pun intended.

LOL!

Ever since it occurred I

Ever since it occurred I figured the burial at sea was done specifically so that there could never be an independent verification that it was in fact Bin Laden. What better way to make sure the facts cannot be verified?

Wikileaks, by the way, came out with some cables a while back related to this. I recall it was something about Bin Laden's body being somewhere stateside at the time when they said he was being buried at sea.

I suppose it's impossible to know the 100% truth, but at the very least we can be sure that we are not getting the whole story & possibly are being lied to.

...

Osama bin Frozen

I never believed any of this contrived fairy tale.

Guess that makes me a 'Deather.'

i never really followed the details but...

i could swear that i heard or read somewhere that they said they 'dumped' his body into the ocean from a helicopter.

you don't have to be 'conspiracy nut' to smell the BS

Bengazi anyone?

It is all make-believe.

The terrorists were all from Saudi Arabia but they are our best-est allies in the never-ending war on terror (the war that is the perpetual excuse for ignoring the bill of rights) so no need to use drones strikes there like we do in all the other arab nations who didn't send terrorists to attack us.

Seems to me that if we had just nuked Saudi Arabia into glass back in 2001 we wouldn't have to worry about their terrorists running off to train in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, etc.

.

See yeah sure.

Well not specifically, we saw a bunch of guys carrying a box and they all shouted "here goes Bin Laden" and then we all heard a loud splash. I mean. We pretty much saw it. Put it this way, they told us it happened.

Besides the box said BIN LADEN. Right next to where is said BRICKS.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Yeah, sure, it said "brick

Yeah, sure, it said "brick laden" on the shipping manifest... His nickname was "Brick", right?

No

I believe his name was Tim Osman? or something similar. Must check with the CIA.

what worries me is...

wikileaks leaked emails months ago that said bin laden's body was received at an air force base in delaware...the same one that our dead servicemembers come home to. so, maybe that should be cited here too. but the omission is what worries me.

except what Benazir Bhutto said makes no sense in that context

and it's basically guaranteed she misspoke, see:

(to say nothing of the other points brought up)

"The AP is appealing the Defense Department’s decision. The CIA, which ran the bin Laden raid and has special legal authority to keep information from ever being made public, has not responded to AP’s request for records about the mission."

I didn't know they could indefinitely keep secrets, that's a bit silly.
