Breitbart: GOP Reaps Its Abandonment of Limited Government

- snip -

The GOP ought to have been able to win ample libertarian support this election, as the campaigns were fought where the two philosophies intersect, namely government spending and regulation.

The GOP is most successful when it embraces limited government and individual responsibility. It fails when it is merely a slightly more cost-efficient version of the Democrat party. The party forgets this at their peril.

The gop is finished...

which was their INTENTION ALL ALONG! The leftist republican party only needed to continue their ruse about being "Christian" or "conservative" or "tea" or "Libertarian" until now. Now, Constitutional Liberty is simply OUTNUMBERED. So now, the republicans can freely embrace MORE leftism, KEEPING the leftist boomers and the leftist loyalists that pull votes AWAY FROM A THIRD (second) PARTY - thus PROTECTING the democrat dominance and PRESERVING LEFTIST GOVERNMENT. THEY ARE, AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN, working WITH the democrats.

F the R's!

why are we still talking about the the 2 Party System as if it's 2 separate parties? It's like taking sides in 'Coke' vs. 'Sprite' and arguing which one is better than the other while Coca Cola wins either way since they own both products.
