interview. It's too bad I had just listened to his abortion ad. "Science has long held that life begins at conception"...really Rand? You think that is an intellectually honest statement do you? No one argues that those two merged cells aren't alive, the argument is whether they are human and worthy of constitutional protection. Of course you know that, and have chosen a straw man anyway. I am a supporter, and even understand the 'life at conception' viewpoint, but if you want to keep me as a supporter you damn sure better be honest in your argument about it. Better yet, keep that shit to yourself for awhile. Let's strangle some liberty out of the fascists for the people that WE ALL AGREE are people, then we can hash out the details.

States can still be encouraged to make their own laws, but a personhood law is good on many levels, niot just the right to life, but to personal sovereignity, and it fits is with anti-war.

he thought he needed to double down on abortion after his recent statements on immigration reform and token marijuana reform. he's basically trying to out flank his republican detractors and pander to the religious types but may have moved too far to the authoritarian right. ron paul offered the best comprise of state rights and rand should listen to his dad. i can't defend rand online or elsewhere on abortion now. the only thing you can say is that he knows nothing like that will ever pass and is just playing politics and trying to stir up the religious folks. sad.
