AJ lays down some nuclear truth.

I really appreciate this comment:

"People say well why do you have a guy on, an environmentalist, when you’re talking about the green movement… because they attach all this real reasonable stuff to something run by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan that is a taxed based-system and so if we just fight the environmental movement, #1 it makes us look stupid and it’s not sophisticated. There’s a real environmental movement then there’s a clone of it, a counterfeit."

Writing off entire groups because the infiltrators seeking to overthrow it is terminally short sighted for liberty lovers. People are drawn to environmentalism, or OWS, even socialism and communism because there is SOMETHING true and good in the package. The way to reach these people is ferret out the truth they found and stand with them on that common ground. From that position of "friend" we may be able to direct them to more truth.

I’m sorry folks, I’m what you call a libertarian constitutionalist. Back when I was more ignorant 15 years ago I was all about nuclear power, but now they are rotting and falling apart and the corporations don’t care, they’re crazy.

Nuclear power is a ticking time bomb that just keeps going off and now when they have leaks all the time in Nebraska or up in Canada, it’s a footnote now.

I believe that this is one of the greatest threats facing humanity is the fact that the nuclear industry is becoming collectively insane and self-destructive, and if they want to kill themselves that’s their business. They’re not going to kill me and my family.

Naivete is usually inborn.

15 years may had cured something, may be another 15 years is needed to understand capitalism.

Proposals for a new (safe, clean, advanced) nuclear plant to replace an aging existing one are not allowed by Congress until existing plant life-span is less than 10 years left. Taking into account years of environmental study groups for approval, years of constructions, tests and inspections (along with court hearings from local citizens), new construction does NOT occur. Owners simply have no time, they are forced to extend life-span of the old plant, again, again, again.

The danger is self inflicted by government "safety" regulations.

Amazing that when I was growing up there

was a huge anti-nuke movement, it was seen as dangerous, poisonous etc then sometime in the late 90s it suddenly became rebranded as somehow being the saviour of the environment.

I love raising awareness but

I think we need to talk about a solution to this problem. We've known for decades about the problems with nuclear energy and have seen the devastation caused from some "accidents." I say accidents with a grain of salt, but that's not the purpose of my comment.

What do you guys/gals think of the Keshe Foundation and their claims? You think it's real or are they full of crap? I understand that the US has "accepted Keshe's technology patents" 2 weeks ago, according to Keshe's website:

I would love to get everyone on the same page here at the DP on this issue so we can move forward.

Lima-1, out.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Interesting. I'll look into this.

I also want to know what Tesla figured out.

Never heard of this foundation, thanks for the link.

Do you have any suggestions where one might start reading what this foundation is all about and the claims for which you are seeking feedback?

Their forum does not seem to have any guidance for newcomers that I see. I have started poking around the forum, but would really appreciate a summary overview before I delve into specific areas of interest.

So far, I am intrigued. Thanks again for posting!

Nuclear Industry

The Nuclear Industry is really just another pawn. Fukushima steams away for a reason. Just as all of industry is polluting, poisoning and destroying our natural habitat the nuclear industry is just another example of the industry attempting to reduce human population to that target number of 500 million. Overpopulation is a straw man. If you you really want to know who is destroying our planet look at who is responsible for all the major damages done to our globe. I can assure you of one thing though. Four of the seven billion people on our ball of rock are not destroying the environment. They are literally cleaning it up while trying to scratch a living from waste. Industry is responsible for the spills, the fish kills, the polluted sky, the polluted land and every other major incident that destroys the Earth on step at a time. So the real question to you folks is who are you working for? If it is the medical industry, energy industry, processed food industry, chemical industry, military industry and virtually every major industry in the world then you need to investigate how much blood money is in your wallet?

Do a google search for: Crimes of GE, Crimes of Bayer, Crimes of TEPCO and other major corporations. If you work for these people then you are the problem. So long as they have stooges to work for them we the sheeple will be in danger. So long and good luck.

You nailed it, mister...! It

You nailed it, mister...! It is one thing to talk the talk and another to walk the walk. I took a hard look at myself back in 1975 while working in the tourism industry. Although relatively benign in comparison to some of those listed, I felt, I was not helping or being a positive influence upon the world. Ghandi's teaching truly resonated with me, when he said that I needed to be the change I wanted to see in the world. So I walked away from my lucrative career and have spent the last 37 years building a career and a small business out of landscape design. I am a one woman shop and work out of my home office.

I am driven to create spaces for my clients with the intent of getting them back in touch with and restoring their true human/nature connections. To restore respect for Gaia and in so doing, respect for who we really are spirturally. This is my passion, these soulful spaces. And I feel...clean, like I have been a blessing not a curse upon this place we call home. I am not rich in the traditional sense, but very wealthy in spirit.

"The professional blind spot" - being your own worst enemy.

I did not overcome mine by choice, it was forced upon me. I had devoted a career to helping save vision - it was VERY rewarding. Financially, emotionally, socially.. When I nearly died from drug side effects and could not get any help from the medical industry, I had to re-examine the industry I helped make credible. I was the face the public saw - cheerful little chick, very proficient at the skills for my job, and very helpful and supportive as they adjusted to whatever drug or surgery they needed. It was hard to face up to my own complicity in giving credibility to the medical-industrial complex. Until one is able to see that blood money in their own wallet, they have not fully examined their life. It is this awakening from within these institutions that is needed to restore health to healthcare, justice to the justice system, etc.

Nuclear Age?

The nuclear age has experience two really bad decisions by the government. The first was made by President Nixon who favored the dirty uranium solid fuel pressurized water reactor (PWR) over a much clearer thorium molten salt reactor (TMSR), because the military wanted plutonium for their bombs and he defunded further RD&D of TMSR technology. The second bad decision was made by President Clinton for defunding RD&D to dispose of the nuclear waste generated by Nixon’s bad decision. Here we are now with tons of dirty radioactive materials and no bridge to get rid of it. There are only 2 options now; bury it or burn it. Nobody wants it buried in their backyard so we are left with investing in RD&D to finish the Gen IV reactors that will burn it up to 2% waste instead of the 98% that is generated daily. We need to replace the Gen II with waste burning Gen IV reactors that will not continue to produce all that nuclear waste.

Thanks fishy

I very much appreciate the information & perspective you provide here.

Thank you.

I consider that very high praise, considering the source.
Peace, my friend.
