If Tom Davis could be convinced to run against Lindsey Graham - how many here would pledge support?

I think Ron Paul supporters across the country would certainly come to his aid. His speech at Ron's event in Tampa prior to the RNC Convention was compelling. I think he could be a real up and coming champion of liberty in the political world.

How many here would be willing to support him in word, deed, and contributions?

Please up vote if you would support Tom Davis against Graham.

Definitely! And Senator Tom

Definitely! And Senator Tom Davis must be drafted for this ASAP so we have enough time to win a very tough primary against Grahamnesty's millions.

like the draft Tom Davis facebook page and check his twitter acc

account. For example:

Tom Davis ‏@senatortomdavis
Spent today drafting the NDAA Nullification Act that I will prefile in the SC Senate next month. http://fb.me/2bgvere9s

and a few hours ago:
@senatortomdavis
Glenn McCall, SCGOP national committeeman, says GOP needs Ron Paul supporters. Yes, and a good start would be an RNC apology for Tampa.

Count me in!

If I lived in S.C. I would vote for a Loggerhead Sea Turtle before I would give any support to Lindsay Graham! Tom Davis is awesome!

I would!

I would!

Great speech at the Sun Dome Rally!

It's so good to hear Tom Davis say it again... "Ben Bernanke is a traitor, a dictator; he's blighting out our republic." No holds barred speech.

We need THIS guy in the US Senate. Anyone on the fence about that, take a listen to this youtube.

He even talked about defeating Lindsey Graham in the next SC US Senate election and asked the crowd if they were going to help. His intention to run against LG can't get very much clearer than that.

THANK YOU, Swifty!!!!

Davis vs. Lindsey Graham? I'd go big time in for Davis.

Lindsey "When he asks for a lawyer you tell him to shut up.....

you don't get a lawyer" Graham.

Oh yeah, I'm in!!!!

Somehow

I don't think he'll need much convincing

He spoke at the Rally for the Republic

We will need a huge push of name recognition to get him past Graham. I will financially support.

I love this guy!
The interviewer keeps trying to get him to talk about something else and he always finds a way to go back to Ron Paul. Awesome!

Awesome. Tom Davis nailed it.

I was not aware of him until I saw this video. Thanks.

Count me in. Sometime within the last year I got him added on Facebook. Everything I've seen from him shows him to be a great principled person.

I never thought I would say this, but..

Any one but Graham! lol only kidding. Absolutely I will support him over Graham! Graham is more traitorous than many Democrats.

Tom Davis... wasn't he the guy who was quite up front

and vocal about his support for Ron Paul this last election cycle (even when others, who should have been, were not)? If so, and I believe that's the guy, why would anyone on our side NOT support him and choose to run against him? Hmmm...

Sorry, if it came off that way.

It really was meant as an honest question. The only pressure, if you could call it that, was to get people to think about the question. Whatever conclusions each of us may come to, are to help shed some more light on the subject. I honestly don't know if that other guy is one of the good guys, or just another guy riding on others' coat tails. It makes me wonder what his intentions are in going up against a Patriot like Tom Davis.

I know what you meant and you even

reiterated the intent of your words.

We'll see who is a Patriot and who isn't the closer we get to election time.

I like to reserve my unending support for a candidate unless they just overwhelmingly stand out like Dr.Paul did.

He has sounded good up till now, from what I've heard of him.

Clearing the air ...

As a member of the Blandford campaign, I'd like to clarify something: we had already committed to our primary challenge of Lindsey Graham when we learned that Tom Davis had mentioned the possibility of running against him. We feel strongly that Keith Blandford can beat Lindsey Graham in the GOP primary, win the election, and do a fantastic job in the U.S. Senate. That is why we are putting our own time and money on the line for this effort.

If Senator Davis decides to pursue his own campaign against Lindsey Graham, SC voters will have the opportunity to choose between two great candidates. If he decides to continue his outstanding work in the SC Senate, SC residents will continue to benefit from his efforts.

But there is a third option ... Tom Davis could run against Nikki Haley for GOVERNOR! That would be the best use of his experience with the state legislature, and it would allow the liberty movement to support BOTH candidates for major office.

Thanks for your comment, Paladex. It does shed a bit more

light onto the subject. As a member of Keith Blandford's campaign, would you know whether Blandford would step aside and throw his support behind Tom Davis, should Davis decide to pursue the US Senate? Davis has more name recognition and media exposure in our movement than Blandford. Of course, being from the north, I don't know local SC politicians. Does Blandford have that same kind of recognition in your State?

Also, I noticed you reference "the liberty movement" in your comment. Would you please tell us a bit more about that and how Blandford fits with that term?

Thanks again for the heads up. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Debbie's picture

In his speech in Tampa he said he would run against Lindsey

Graham.

Debbie

AWESOME

Deb,
I didnt' remember that. I watched the speech back in August - but with so much going on I hadn't remembered he said that. I do remember thinking to myself - this guys is good. I hope he does run against him. I will most def do what I can to promote him and contribute to his campaign. The post here on a libertarian challenege to Graham is what prompted me to post this
