Hopes...and believes

That's a mixed message. When he said he hopes Rand will stick to the principles of liberty, that indicates a lack of confidence. Following up with "believes" doesn't convince me. Rand voted for sanctions on Iran, I think that says it all.

He trusted Jesse Benton

& back in the day he trusted whoever wrote those newsletters. So I don't think his judgment in people is so hot, sorry.

We could make it easier for him

by backing him, and showing support, GREAT SUPPORT, for the move he makes that restore the republic.

He needs to be rewarded for what he does good, more than chastised and knocked down for the hard choices he has to make given his political position and TPTB he's up against.. IOWs we need to become a force, a power of the people and that supports him.

If he does not get our support, what would be his point, when unlike Ron Paul, he is not ignored and eating lunch by himself, but in MSM perhaps as much as Christy and more than Palin or Jeb.

He needs to be rewarded for

He needs to be rewarded for what he does good, more than chastised and knocked down for the hard choices he has to make given his political position and TPTB he's up against..

So in other words, you want us to blindly praise Rand for everything and ignore his deviation from the core principles of our movement.

I don't play, I commission the league.

I'm not saying to ignor

The GOP sees Ron Paul's support as a PROTEST BLOCK.. so when we protest, they blow us off.. they expect us to protest, and whatever we protest.. they reject.. so people will protest, of course, but we know that it is not working.. so instead, we choose to RALLY what we like.. Rally for the Republic.. Rally to End the Fed, IOWs what we like is what should be our motivation to come together and rally FOR, when it comes to WITHIN the GOP.

What you do outside the GOP, no one in any position of real power, cares to rally, but rather, mislead like GJ. You think politics is a Jack in the Box with a menu just for you.. ain't so. We need to rally for what we want on the menu rather than protest what we don't want.. that's for the outsiders. Nothing wrong with being an outsider. It's a choice for those who are not ready, unewilling or unable to FIGHT.. note, seems we fight the apathy of the outsiders as much as the difiance of the GOP establishment.

let me know how that works out for you...

9/11 Truth.

Middle ground sometimes does apply.

Middle ground sometimes does apply. Not in compromising Liberty values, but rather in yours and Grangers case:

Rand is Republican, who does not espouse the same solid principles of his father. He does, however, have some Liberty attributes.

We must congratulate Rand when he does right, but we must also let it be known when he does not. This should be the case for ALL elected officials, not just Rand.

While I and others write our representatives, senators, are folks writing and calling in to Rand Paul to let him know how we feel, and to clarify our positions? Just because Rand is Ron's son does not mean that he should be excluded from hearing from us, the r3volution.

"some liberty attributes?"

Well, I guess that is how to fight for "some liberty" but I am not willing to settle for that. Where is the middle ground between truth and lie? RAND IS DIVIDING RON's SUPPORTERS. Who does that benefit?

I will leave your down vote on my post below as a symbol. It is necessary to build alliances, not enemies, and explain why Ron Paul, Liberty is our Republic's only salvation. We have no other options if we truly want to be free.

you mean people? More voices and choices is great.. GOOD LUCK.

I was quick in my response because I was heading out to Campaign for Liberty. I handed out many Justin Amash flyers, and engaged in lots of conversations. It was productive, and fun :-)

I was referring to other parties, Libertarian, Green, etc. You know as well as I do that those options will not yield sufficient numbers for a 2016 win. If this so-called movement splits and attempts a gj route again, rest assured the establishment will have an easy win.

No, I thought, or rather hoped you meant options as for people, niot parties.. those are controlled by tyhe major parties.. why I became an Indy in 93 had enough of the GOP leading the LP.

I expect to lost many battles before we win.. it takes opions.. people.

I do not let others divide me. I stand on my own. I look for openings and work/build from there.

Rand has not earned my support yet. He has time to come around. I do not put all of my eggs into one basket. As I have noted before, Justin Amash is on the horizon. Meantime, we must reach out to everybody, including Rand, and let them know that we know business.

Pick your battles wisely. But that does not meant that you drop the ball.

I repeat: Where is the middle ground between truth and lie?

My battle chose me, I am passionately driven to defend truth.

Where is the middle ground between truth and lie? TIME

Time tells the truth. Let's not forget the story of the 6 blind men and the elephant.. which one lied?

Is it in finding common ground as you suggested yesterday?

Ron Paul found common ground with those who he may of opposed philosophically to acheive headway. He even spoke of working with Kucinich in this interview.

Fishy, I did not mean yesterday to bring up opposition to you. I was trying to draw a link between two issues which seem linked to me. Will you please accept my apology for causing any duress in that situation?

I think your point to reach out and find middle ground is a good one. No one is going to be perfect. And we all have things we will not give up on, but there is Liberty to be found under the big umbrella that Ron Paul spoke of.

"I am passionately driven to defend truth."

So am I. As well as Liberty, Freedom.

We are on the same side :-)

Are you free?

More free than you.

I speak my heart without regard to its impact on the GOP.

So far for my GOP float, regarding it's impact on the GOP, I intend to have monopoly money with messages about money printed on the other side.

“It is no coincidence that the century of total war coincided with the century of central banking.”
― Ron Paul, End the Fed

“Don't steal - the government hates competition!
― Ron Paul, End the Fed

And then I want to have an anti-drone drill.. The folks who are pssing out the notes to the crowd along the parade route stop in place when the hear a high pitched recording that plays from the vehicle when it stops.. drones make a high pitched noise, and as the noise increases, the folks say, "drone", "Drone" drone".. tell the crowd.. "Drone is coming".. and then they fall to the ground and play dead. The noise goes away.. and then we make an announcement about how drones, the NDAA, military suicides..

What I need to figure out is our float.. do I want to use a flat bed? and what would be the best visual stage? I thought about having a barred traier with bench seats.. people cuffed and chained to the bars, they have hats that say, "Debt Slave", "Tax Poor", and signs on the rails of various federal police departments.. IRS, Marchalls, DEA, FEMA.. and the people riding chant.. "Freedom", "Liberty", "Restore the Republic"..

I hope it impacts my GOP in a big way.

And then blame Rand, like you did above,

for dividing Ron Paul's supporters?

You can't have it both ways. Rand is not to blame for people having their own opinions.
