Alex Jones taken to the wood shed

The link below is a video posted yesterday (11/30) on YouTube by a Ron Paul supporter (Ry Dawson) and is currently trending on YouTube. I have been a daily visitor to Alex Jones' website infowars.com for the past 8 months and I have the perception he is fighting for liberty and exposing the truth. However, recently I have heard a lot of conflicting info on him that he is actually working for the so called "neocons" and the "NWO" crowd using disinfo. Is this true, and should I stop visiting the site, because I actually think there is some good coming out of it as far as "waking people up"?

who knew?

Love for Alex, total derision for the asswipe pretend-friends of liberty who tear it down. What has Ry done for liberty? zip ... nada ... nilch

Fuck off Ry you piece of shit

Alex Jones is a fearmonger

He exaggerates almost everything and there are often outright lies on his website (whether these are deliberate or AJ is just ignorant, I don't know).

Don't worry, we've all had our Alex Jones phases.

Listen to everyone - believe no one - believe only that which you verify through experience.

Alex has said the same thing for seriously the 10 years I have listened to him. 5 shows is all you need for the "wake up" once you're awake you don't need Alex Jones.

Read books, fuck radio hosts.

"The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out, the conservative adopts them." - Mark Twain

hear hear

you said it perfectly

one of the many things that AJ is correct about however, is that too many people make him the issue - about as pointless as all of the Howard Stearn critics in the 90's that just brought him more attention

Excellent critical youtube-response to some of AlexJ's biased

opinions on Middle Eastern affairs. Great to be reminded that AlexJ is not infallible. I agree with RyD that AlexJ does try to ignore the racial supremacy complex of Likud - zionists and to justify zionists' immoral aggressions against their neighbors. AlexJ does not show any journalistic interest in zionists' insidious mental & emotional manipulation of christian fundamentalists & neoconned Americans.

I don't have the time & patience to sit through AlexJ's ranting shows. i depend on Moxnews, DP et.al. to post short videos of the good segments from his shows (when he interviews Ron & Rand P, Lew R and such).

I don't trust videos where people cut one line out and respond

to it... too much chance that it could have been taken out of context.

Jones Can Be a Bit Too Much, But He Is A Champion of Liberty

Ron Paul has been on The Alex Jones Show numerous times. I don't believe Ron Paul or Lew Rockewell would be guests on his show if they really though Jones was an enemy of liberty. I also don't think Dr. Paul would use Alex's show as a forum to get his message out. If Alex Jones is good enough for Ron Paul and Lew Rockewell, he is good enough for me because I trust their judgement and mine..

Personally, I will tell you I don't like the constant ranting and raving and getting off on tangents. I also dislike the fear mongering, although it seems to bring him alot of new listeners.

There are time I have to turn his program off because I get so sick of the rantings and fear mongering, but I do believe he is a champion of liberty. He does things his way and sure I think he is a strange bird indeed, but he is no traitor or enemy of liberty.

But, I would say don't believe me, decide for yourself young man...

3/4 Champion of

3/4 Champion of misinformation 1/4 Champion of liberty

Ron Paul said

very kind things about Romney and they were friends, yet Romney was an enemy of liberty, thus RP wouldn't endorse him. Being on somebody's talk show, and trusting them are two different things. And as much as I love RP, he has shown a bit of bad judgement in people in the past right? lol

Also, RP was a part of the US Government, which is an enemy to liberty as well.

I'm just stating my thoughts, not trying to argue here. I have asked myself that question many times, "Why would RP go on AJ?"

Anyhow, the dangerous part IS the fearmongering, it will incite violence, as I've come to believe is it's intended consequence. I really hope I am wrong here.

Everything about what we say

Everything about what we say is fear-mongering to a degree. All of the economic warnings, the foreign policy warnings, etc. It all creates fear. why? Because it is scary. There is no way to address anything we talking about without invoking some fear.

There is a difference between

talking about fearful subjects and leaving people feeling hopeless, and talking about fearful subjects and empowering people, which is what Ron Paul does. I have never felt such positive political energy as I did both times I went to see RP. I left both times feeling like WE CAN DO THIS!

Anytime I have listened to Alex, I get scared, really scared, and one time I literally had a panic attack! That's just me of course, but I can imagine I'm not alone in feeling scared after a little bit of Jones juice.

. . . is a sure-fire indicator that you are a victim of public schooling. Too bad for you, don't blame the messenger WHO BY THE WAY WAS FORCED TO USE A MEGAPHONE because you are so badly brainwashed...

don't blame the messenger if you are too fucking weak-minded to handle the fucking truth.

Hmm, I can handle the truth just fine. I just can't handle Alex Jones. He's a prick. You sound a lot like him.

Hey OP....

If you need to ask someone who and what to listen to then you have bigger problems on your hands. Just use a skeptical eye to everything as it applies to known truths you have experienced in life. That's the best advice I can give. Not everything these guys spout off is true and not everything on fox or msnbc is false. Truth is sometimes tough to define let alone find. Just use your noggin and take everything in with an observant eye.

best answer, I agree

Check out this link,

There is some information here that will help you in your search IMO. I don't think he can be trusted at all. Idk, he is a fearmonger, which means he wants you to be terified. The beta testing he has done is really suspicious to me. And on and on...

Thanks Ry

This reaffirms my position:

Just come home [RP]. And my money too.

Foreign intel IS needed to ensure our safety, but we must defend our own borders and keep our noses out of the affairs of others.

Open trade, freely but fairly, set positive examples for the world to see. Military industrial complex, secret bidding, powers that be, should be held liable for anything and everything unjust and/or provoking. All of the money in the world, including QE Infinity, will never bring peace to all men and nations. At some point, win or lose, nations must stand on their own two feet without interference of other selfish nations.

I like Ben Swann. A lot of girls like him too :-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

honestly I'm no fan of israel

i think they've basically become nazis BUT all this zionist talk puts me off a lot of people. I think israel is racist but I also think people go on and on about zionism are, in the main, racist too.

Let me just add that I think Israeli are guilty of a multitude of war crimes that are war crimes REGARDLESS. There's just no need to constantly go on about a zionist conspiracy when there's plenty wrong in plain sight.

I feel you don't understand what is happening then.

This is not about israel, or the people of Israel, it's not about Jews, it's about the psycopath's who crave control and power, and believe they are the choosen people, here to rule over the rest, these people call themselves Zionists. Same as extremist Christians, and extremist muslims are not tolerated by freedom loving people, Zionist's are also extremists, and we should not tolerate them either. The thing is, self proclaimed Zionists are in positions of power all over the world, and the banking system seems to be full of them.

99% of people simply want to live in peace, the other 1% want to rule and be seen as gods, Zionists fall into the later category along with all other psycopath's and tyrants.

Are people who talk about GOP corruption racisst, too?

Zionism is a political agenda. One that has a very racist attitude, ironically enough.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

i don't get the connection?

i never said a word about the gop. all i'm saying is that people who go on about zionism are often ignorant racists who often can't even spell the word;) i think the gop are scum and israel are bigger scum but that doesn't preclude me thinking people should stfu about zionism when, in the main, it's just anti-semitism. The main point is there's plenty to criticize israel about without the need to mention the protocols etc. That just weakens your argument. Criticize them for their actions not for some motive you ascribe to them that they may not even hold.

Zionism is a political agenda

Zionism is a political agenda based on military exploitation of Palestine and promoting a dominate "godly" group of the "true" disciples of God, the Jews. I have many friends who are Jewish who have an immense distaste for the current state of Israel, the oppressive Zionist regime, and Netanyahu. Jews are obviously not bad people, the majority are very honest and good people, who happen to be raised Jewish. That does no detract the immense force that is Zionism and its global, political influence.

They are the most politically connected and influential group to the most "powerful" empire in the world, the US, or so we used to be. We fund, train, and are obviously are direct allies of Israel and support their cause, regardless of their violations of human rights.

He is right, they do work on the offense... they do blow up individual's homes, private businesses, murder children and innocent civilians. They do blow up media outlets that don't support their cause... ie, RT, and, yes, they were responsible for our involvement in the Middle East since we put in the Shaw in 1953.

The majority of those who identify as Jewish are simply unaware of the massive monstrosity of political, brute force that is used to get their way... This is a holy war for a reason.

Their motto is "Dont Tread On Me"...

That is hype.

MOST people know that Zionism is a political agenda. The media finds (or plants) a few racists in a crowd and focuses on them. If you don't get the connection between not liking GOP corruption and not liking Zionist corruption, you are being deliberately blind.

Really good video! Bump!

Really good video! Bump!

Only Alex knows Alex's heart.

He posts a lot of good stuff, but he also sells fear for profit. I frequented his site until I found sources I prefer - whatreallyhappened is my favorite. When AJ does something really good, someone will post it either here or there, and I can spare myself his endless fearmongering.
As I said, I can't know why AJ does what he does, I know he is dead wrong sometimes, but we all have blind spots. I know he has some very shady family ties, but I'm pretty sure I have some pretty shady characters in my family, too. Not married to one, but, hey. Thing is, we will make ourselves crazy trying to decide who is "good" and who is "bad." We have to seek truth, and learn to recognize it wherever it manages to sneak out. With AJ, like anyone, verify, verify, verify.
I like Jesse Ventura, but that Ozark episode was crap. Mt. Home Arkansas is having earthquakes due to fracking. They finally ordered a cessation of the fracking to test the theory and the quakes stopped. To not even mention the fracking was very misleading.
