NSA Whistleblower: Everyone in US under virtual surveillance, all info stored

Full story at RT.com

The FBI records the emails of nearly all US citizens, including members of congress, according to NSA whistleblower William Binney. In an interview with RT, he warned that the government can use this information against anyone.

Binney, one of the best mathematicians and code breakers in the history of the National Security Agency, resigned in 2001. He claimed he no longer wanted to be associated with alleged violations of the Constitution, such as how the FBI engages in widespread and pervasive surveillance through powerful devices called 'Naris.'

This year, Binney received the Callaway award, an annual prize that recognizes those who champion constitutional rights and American values at great risk to their personal or professional lives.

Hey, Janet! I SEE TREASON!!! Please report to the nearest Oathkeeper to get this situation under control!

Edit: Here is Assange saying the same thing 2 or 3 days ago.

Google says it will not save my conversations! (Sarcasm)

"We know that sometimes, we don't want a particular chat, or chats with a specific person, to be saved. Most existing IM services give no indication of whether the person you're chatting with is saving your conversation. But when chatting in Google Talk or Gmail, you can go "off the record," so that nothing typed from that point forward gets automatically saved in anyone's Gmail account.

Going off the record applies to individual people, and is persistent across chats. That means once you go off the record with a particular person, you will always be off the record with him or her, even if you close the chat window, and the two of you don't chat again until several months later. You will not need to go off the record each time you chat with the same person, but you will need to make this decision for each person you chat with. We've designed this to be a socially-negotiated setting because we want to give users full disclosure and control over whether the person they're talking to can save their chat.

To go off the record while chatting, click the Options button and select "Go off the record" from the dropdown menu. Both people can go off the record or stop chatting off the record at any time, and we will always notify both people of such a change."

in the US of A has ANY illusion that it is now the people vs. the state, they are either blind, stupid, drunk or any mix of the three.

This is not about preserving the people, it's about preserving the empire and the gunvernment. It's not about your safety, it's about CONTROL. Controlling you, me, all of us individually, and not for our own good.

Oh, and since you guys are reading this and I know it and now you know I know it: F you and the camel you rode in on.

So much for RT hiring some brains behind the beauty.

"Are they reading me?

"How are they prioritising it?"

"Are they reading my gmail?"

I was just waiting for her to ask about her cat. But wait, it just gets better. She understands Patraus whatever but this other guy, why did they? Why do they? This woman has ZERO UNDERSTANDING OF POLITICS, OF TECHNOLOGY, OF ANYTHING I CAN TELL.

She does a great doe-in-headlight stare though.

Most of those who think so actually don't and most of those who think sew actually rip.

i liked the interviewer, was fresh, new,

not the old static, non-biased, emotionless, interviews of the state-media cartel. :_)

william is on Obama's kill list for sure.

thank you Patriot!

anyone who is concerned about what they do while they surf should look into Tor browser. It was created by military and is now Open-Source for all.

If that is too strict for your surfing pleasure then I do recommend noscript as java flash are excluded only by trusted sites of YOUR choice.

as for E-mail's I would recommend Tor mail as it is completely anonymous but You will need to have Tor browser installed on your computer to access Tor hidden services.

Now im on the watch list LOL! bring it on TYRANTS!

His name is Edward Snowden

What is Capitalism?

Do you really need this guy to tell you that?

I can't even surf the web without having targeted adds pop up every where. I surprisingly get sales flyers in the regular mail from people I don't shop with but they seem to know what I've been looking at.

Why would anyone not think that the government has just as much or better surveillance of our actions?

Just Wait

until they get all those freaking cameras in place. Anyone else notice all the new cameras on top of the traffic lights? I don't mean the redlight cameras. I am talking about the ones on TOP of the lights facing in ALL directions. In Dallas they even have a channel on TV that shows what some of those cameras are seeing. They broadcast it live! They are watching all the cars that go through those lights and I read that they are putting them everywhere so that they can track the habits of the public. These rats are just getting started!

And yet,

Bradley Manning is the one on trial for obtaining emails on the government? Should be the other way around!

It's not like this is really

It's not like this is really new news, or surprising for that matter.

why thumb this down? we've

why thumb this down? we've known for years the NSA is keeping data on US citizens

The Constitution

is dead. Once a monopoly on aggression was granted to the central state political class it became unenforceable and they became our masters. The murderer Abe established that.
Bader Ginsburg openly condemns the Constitution. Obama was a professor of Constitutional law?
That Carnivore program was pretty much set up to spy on everyone. TPTB don't care if we spout off on the internet, it's a safety release valve, like a video game. It's when people act that they crack the whip. And they can plant emails, blackmail people. But anything can be faked so I'm not really seeing the point of all their machinations. Who believes a thing they say? No one with half a brain. It's all a matter of interest groups trying to get the state to force THEIR wills on everyone else, stealing THEIR piece of the pie looted by the thieves ruling us.
People are wising up. And the thugs' technology will ultimately be turned against them.

We may need to watch EACH OTHERS : solidarity (not surveillance)

Anyone care about investigating if ANY DP regular poster ABRUPTLY STOPS, from one day and on, posting ANYTHING and he/she disappears "in the wild" ?

Refresher - with NDAA, they can :

1. come and get you

2. lock you up

3. terminate you

Without anyone else being given A CLUE about it.

Don't stay alone for too long. Keep yourself closer to your relatives and friends. Share more of your privacy with those you really trust. Prefer direct face-to-face communication. As often as possible.

Don't know about you but... I haven't always written nice compliments about governments. Including this one.

By the way, MORE CURRENT **THAN EVER**, since he mentions the Supreme Court NOT protecting the Constitution :

Federal Courts and the Imaginary Constitution

Im not worried, they are

Im not worried, they are grossly outnumbered and their plan.is failing. We will take back our country PERIOD!!

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Don't up-vote bumps.

Up-voting a comment does NOT bump the thread to the top of the "Active Forum Topics." You need to post a new comment to do that.

Up-voting a comment SHOULD be an indication that you think it's worth reading. It's a recommendation that other people read it. Doing that to a "bump" purely wastes their time. Personally, whenever I see a "bump" with up-votes, I down-vote it.

you've lost me--

Are you talking to *me*?

I just bumped the OP--

I didn't have time to respond, and I wasn't sure what to say anyway, but I thought it had value and bumped it--

oh, I just saw that I've gotten 8 up-votes for bumping--

*hee, hee*

I didn't up-vote myself, if that's what you mean--

For some reason, someone wanted to upvote my bump--

I'm not going to slug anyone for it, though--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Sorry for the confusion.

No, I wasn't talking to you, just to all the folks who upvoted your bump. I was trying to convince all the folks who thought "bump" was a worthwhile comment to DO IT THEMSELVES, instead of upvoting someone else's bump. Upvoting a bump doesn't bump the thread, it just wastes the time of people who notice upvotes and think the comment must be worth reading.
