Cynthia McKinney, Georgia - A MUST Listen

6-term Rep Cynthia McKinney, former Democrat, Green Party, misrepresented, because establishment is afraid of her. She speaks out against obama, romney, bush, ptb, endless war, global initiatives, restriction of freedom of speech, targeted assasination, etc.

She may run again in 2014 after completing her Ph.D. As Ron Paul has stated, we must reach out and embrace Liberty, Freedom, candidates regardless of so-called and meaningless party affiliation. We must weed out the bad, from the good.

Ron Paul is mentioned a couple of times :-)

Hey Paulreal

Nobody said a thing about voting for president.

Read my post below to you. You clearly have much to learn.

Btw: Consider throwing some support over to Justin Amash. Or will you find fault with him too.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

You are correct

No one will completely agree with any candidate on all issues.
However, Cynthia McKinney will gain my support only on specific issues of common ground.

Her socialist, green views fundamentally offend me so I could never support her as a candidate, any more than Ron Paul could ever support Ralph Nader for President, even though he supported his right to run and may have agreed with him on some issues.

For me socialism is anti liberty and a non starter.

But again, Michael N influenced me to the point to realize that when Mckinney or any other leftist is speaking the truth, rather than attack them on their other views, embrace the views that I agree.

Save the disagreements for later. But be prepared to disagree.

maybe so . . . yet, I'll still chose Cynthia McK over ilk like

neoconned lindsey graham et al.

Yes! Good for Her!

I love Cynthia McKinney she is intelligent and very passionate. If you want to hear her speak on some global issues...the first 4 videos on this page feature her exclusively.

She mentions Ron! Paul!

At about 08:40 in the second video on that page. They showed a clip of him in the debate :-)

There is an anti-Ron Paul person hanging around.

Who in their right mind would down vote a Ron Paul post, lol.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Before you get all excited about Mckinney

take a look at the WHOLE package.

Michael Nystrom pointed out to me correctly that liberty minded people can and should form alliances with people across the political spectrum and that ad hominem attacks should not be tolerated.

While I agree with Michael and will not go on an anti Mckinney rampage here, I would urge people to do their research on McKinney before leaping to support her.

She holds and endorses plenty of anti liberty views.
Do your own research-I won't post em for you!

She may be right on certain issues, but even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day.

You make a good point

As I was researching her a bit further. However, no candidate will be Ron Paul, and maybe it is important to start with small steps and support candidates who are much closer to liberty than other candidates.

Do you think wealth redistribution is liberty?

If not supporting her across the board would be a mistake. You can form an alliance where you agree but remember that you are traveling across a river with a scorpion

Of course wealth redistribution is not liberty

I think the point I was trying to make is lets look at some candidates that are not in line with the two parties and give them some credit where they deserve it. That's all, probably not a good idea to just accept everything any one single candidate does as "good" but beyond trying our hardest to get people in some positions for 2014 it is perfectly acceptable to highlight some qualities in other candidates that stick out as exemplary.

AGREED. This ex-democrat snows the establishment republicans.

Let's hear boehner, mcconnel, romney, rubio, jeb, pelosi, obama, etc. talk about issues such as these.

This lady got balls, she means it, and I like her.

Never

been a Cynthia McKinney fan. But now suffering in Hank Johnson's district (the man who thinks Guam is going to tip over). However, if she ran again, I would seriously consider voting for her over the incompetent ox that is in there now.

Clearly in that case McKinney Vs Johnson-lesser of two evils

Not much of a choice there
Vote to prevent Guam from tipping over or for redistributing wealth and more regulations

Lesser of two evils.

That would be 2 people who promote similar ideology.

McKinney may not be 'sound' on money. But I'd wager this with you:

I'd wager she would not pump billions into fighting unconstitutional wars. I'd wager she wouldn't pander to the military industrial complex, and bids for thousands of drones. I'd wager she wouldn't bash Americans heads in for exorcising their 1st Amendment rights against corrupt government.

Even if she did promote distribution of wealth in one form or another, the above, I am sure, would alone save a grand total of a couple of trillion dollars, give/take a few frn's. Even Ron Paul wouldn't be so stupid to stop SS and Medicare all of a sudden.

I do not compromise. But this is not a compromise. Fact.

There. I helped you out and voted your post down. For lack of vision.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

It would be only a matter of time till you realized

that you made a deal with the devil, if you are indeed liberty minded.

One can find common ground with just about anybody.

There are probably things that Stalin, Hitler Roosevelt, Atilla the Hun said or did that you could agree with.

Just remember agreeing with them is not the same as giving them your undying support. When you do the latter you are setting yourself up to be screwed.

Thank you, I have edited the main thread.

thx

An awesome interview, thanks again.

CM may lead heavily to the green side but this woman is tuned in otherwise. We will never get the perfect rep for all our concerns.

She had made some pretty bold statements about the Katrina

aftermath - I remember listening/reading to some of her interviews and was shocked at some of her statements. Wish they could be verified and people held accountable but that will NEVER happen.

I hope Cynthia McK runs, again, and WINS BIG!

I don't agree with her on some of her policy speeches, but I profoundly appreciate her courage of standing up against immoral endless wars, totalitarian suppression of civil liberties, targeted assassination and such.

She is one of the finest

She is one of the finest patriots/politicians. I encourage people to vote for her.
