"With Texas Republican Congressman and three-time presidential candidate Ron Paul bidding a farewell to Washington soon, I thought it would be imperative for Economic Collapse News to list the top five moments of his distinguished career.

Although his son, Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul, seems to be doing a good job of defending freedom thus far, there will never be a public official like Dr. Paul ever again. Who will be defending Austrian Economics, fighting the Federal Reserve System, calling for competing currencies and cutting real government spending on a daily basis?
