Politics sure is boring without Ron Paul

It's like everybody can go back to sleep. It doesn't matter who's elected to Congress. They'll compromise any well doer in a few short months. Ron Paul was the exception, and this country didn't appreciate him. Too bad for the USA.

Americans have been brainwashed for so long, we can't see through the fog anymore. The government has turned our society into one of dependency. States can't rebel due to withholding of funding. 49% of our population goes to the mailbox each month to retrieve their g'ment check. Money's a joke, if you're playing with Monopoly money, which they are. Only you and I don't get any of it, we're just on the hook to re-pay it. How's that for "fair"?

They're playing a magnificent game, and doing so with great skill. When and where will it all end? No idea. Something tells me that they can keep this up for quite some time. So long Ron Paul. America's finest, but denied even the fairest of treatments from his own party. Yes, he would have been a danger to them, and anybody that sucks off the imaginary world of fiat money. We've lost the best chance we'll ever see in restoring a decent government.

Thanks to Micheal Nystrom for hosting a great site to follow. But now, I'll bid you all good bye.

Ron Paul Was Right From His Beginning In Politics, IMHO.

He decided to enter politics when Mr. Nixon severed the link between Gold and U.S. issued dollars.

He knew that the country or group that owned the most Gold {real money} could control the world.
Once the Gold link was broken, corruption fed by unlimited paper I.O.U. dollar notes, bought what ever it needed to keep power.

So, hang on folks as Communist China gains power by draining the west of Gold.

It was an amazing time

and there are many to thank (inc. Dr. Ron, Judge Napolitano, Alex Jones, Mr. Nystrom etc).

However, I do believe that politics becomes even more interesting when one assumes a role of leadership themselves

That's the spirit!!

Yep, totally defeated. F everything it's over. Dude, even if there's only a fool's hope there's no point in giving in to "reality" because you gain absolutely nothing of value. So why not hang out and enjoy the ride?

Ron Paul Supports Celente’s Call for “Intellectual Revolution”

Following his second-place finish in the New Hampshire GOP primary, when Ron Paul stood before the television cameras to address the crowd, he didn’t crow about his personal victory or denigrate his opponents. Instead, he told supporters that “we are dangerous to the status quo of the country,” and spoke about the power of ideas.“I think the Intellectual Revolution that’s going on now to restore liberty in this country is well on its way, and there’s no way they’re going to stop the momentum that we have started,” Ron Paul said.
In fact, Gerald Celente has been championing the call for an “Intellectual Revolution” for years. In 2009 he secured the domain www.IntellectualRevolution.com, and in an April 2009 Trend Alert he wrote:
“I am calling for an ‘Intellectual Revolution.’ This is a revolution about thinking – not manning the barricades. It’s about brain power – not brute force.

Can I beat you senseless?

I'm so sick of these hero worshipers...

Notice how I am asking permission - other than being free speech the act of asking you if I can beat you senseless can not be considered "assault."

If you were to say no I would just say "Okay that's fine" and let you go on with your hopeless miserable life searching for the next hero to worship.

It sure is. But thank

It sure is.

But thank goodness for the DAILY PAUL! If it wasn't for the DP, I'd have to spend more time than I do to hunt for truth. And you know, there's only so much time in a day. The DP forever!

i have the feeling

we aint seen nothing yet.

of course i also thought the campaign had a secret strategy.

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"

Michaels response was kind and true. I do hope that somebody will light that candle of hope for you.

I am, however, a little more direct, and will instead light a torch.

Call Boehner ASAP and remind him that in his drunken stupor he has turned leftist.

Contact your reps and let them know that you are sick and tired of not being represented.

Grab a pen or a keyboard, make a couple of columns and start making comparison sheets. Hit some gun shows, campaign for liberty, including malls and pass those things out. r3VOLution ain't going nowhere if we have anything to do with it.

Ron Paul will be speaking after the holidays. Make EVERY effort to attend!

To sum up: quit crying and get to work. I can't do this by myself ;-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

I respectfully disagree.

It is more like watching a rather intense horror movie!

But, to reiterate somewhat a point somebody else here made: may as well jump in and FIGHT! That'll liven things up a bit!

What would the Founders do?

First of all, it is Michael with an ~ael

But I won't hold that against you. I once dated a girl named Rachael with an ~ael, and I made the mistake of writing a note to someone named "Rachel." She kindly and gently pointed out my error, just as I will kindly and gently point out yours.

Americans have been brainwashed for so long, we can't see through the fog anymore.

Is that really true? Are we not Americans here? I am, and I take it you are, too. Can you no longer see through the fog without Ron Paul lighting your way? What happened to the candle Ron Paul lit for you? Did it go out already? Hang around and someone here will relight it for you - maybe not me, but maybe someone else.

If you believe that Ron Paul was the high water mark, then indeed I can see your point. And if you hang it up now, then you'll help ensure that outcome. But if you think of Ron Paul as a harbinger, then the best is still yet to come.

Have you ever seen a meteor shower - one that you set out from the beginning to watch - a big one, like the Leonids? If you haven't, let me tell you how it goes. You stay up late, find your spot, put your blanket out, wait for the appointed time and look up at the sky. And you wait. And look. And nothing happens. And you wait some more. And look. And wonder. Is it going to happen? It was supposed to be such a great show, but nothing's happening. Will it ever?

And then you see one. The first one - a big one - streaking across the sky. OMG! Wow! Incredible. And then you see another. And a couple more. And before you know it, the sky is full of them, like flying fish, or a pot of popcorn going full steam.

And all that doubt is washed away. All that waiting is long forgotten.

Ron Paul is like that first meteor, and we just saw him streak by, at ground level. But if you leave now, you're going to miss it.

Anyway, I know you're not leaving now. Otherwise you wouldn't have written this DP suicide note. I know you just want a little attention and encouragement. I know you want to test the waters, to see if other people are feeling the same as you.

Of course they are. Of course we are. No one knows what the future holds. So the only thing you can do is do what you will. And what is that? Go back to sleep? Go ahead and try. You can't. Rebuild the GOP? Pfft. Not me. Other people here will. That is their choice, their mission and their destiny. I have a different path to walk. We all do. We all have our own individual paths to walk. It doesn't have to be politics.

Remember what Ron Paul says? "You are an individual."

Remember what Morpehus what he took Neo to see the Oracle? "What was said is for you, and you alone."

Remember what Mr. Rogers said? "You are special, there is no one else like you."

The path you walk is yours, and yours alone. That is your individual path of Liberty. Walk it with your head held high, and you become a light and an an inspiration to those around you - the sheep that don't know anything else but following the crowd, the meek who have never seen anyone walk their own path.

Really, that is all you need to do.

After the 2008 convention, I was so disappointed, so crushed. I talked to Ron Paul on the phone, and what he said to me was, "You'll have your role to play."

The best I can do for you is pass on those same words of wisdom, with the same assurance:

You will have your role to play.

Maybe you don't know what it is yet. I don't know what mine is, either. It doesn't matter. Do what you do, and do what you will. You're awake now, and can't go back to sleep. So whatever you do in your new state of awareness is all you need to do. There is no need to sign off. Do what you will, and when you are ready and when you are willing and whenever you want, share with us.

You are always welcome.

Want an example of the fog?

nobody even saw how Jesse Benton was undermining Ron Paul at just about every step along the way. How's that for fog? Right there in the leadership of the campaign. Not that there were not significant forces already lined up against Paul, but his own team was pulling him down, not up. Political integrity is over, it's a pipe dream. They've completely usurped the Constitution, and they'll do whatever they need to keep their game going. You and I are an afterthought in the world of governance. Not just Federal, but States and local too. The old adage comes true, "It's all about the Money". Why would such overwhelming forces line up to discredit Ron Paul? Why is supporting an honest guy taboo? Why does the audience laugh when someone puts down Ron Paul? Who came to his aid? Nobody. There are 535 elected representatives in Washington, and 534 joke about Ron Paul either in public or behind his back, including Rand. (I'd say one must admit that to endorse Romney for President while his dad is in the race, is quite the ultimate joke) Yeah, Ron Paul was, and is, a torch of hope, but that torch will not be allowed to burn. The ultimate optimist I'm probably not, but when one realizes that we are now being governed by the prince of darkness, it kind of makes sense. You just have to be aware of what's going on, that's all. Love your site. I find it the most interesting one the web. You're probably right, I can't go back to sleep....

Its not that people didn't see it

People did. They got shouted down. Called traitors, told to get on board; get with the program or get out. It happened. You know it did.

The problem, then, is one of mass psychology. That's what happens in a mob. Mobs are necessary to get things done, it seems, among the human race. But they're difficult and dangerous to work with and control.

But since we're taking about fog - how's this for fog? You say Political integrity is over, it's a pipe dream.. But come on, was it ever a reality? How about personal integrity? Isn't that where it all begins? Aren't our politicians just a reflection of who we are? We allow people like Slick Willie, GWBII, Obomba to get away with what they do. Look at who the R's were putting up just recently. Mitt Romney.

Yeah, Ron Paul was, and is, a torch of hope, but that torch will not be allowed to burn.

What about your torch? Ron Paul provided hope for you, and for millions of others.

Who can you provide hope for? Who can you be an example to? That is really the question we need to answer - not the other way around. Not who is going to fix it for me, but what can I fix for others?

Anyway, mull it over for a while and see where you can find a place to fit. Don't worry about the 535 bozos in DC. They're a side show for now. We still don't quite have the numbers we need.

That was a very

nice post you made. Great analogy of the meteor. I think it is very sad and unfortunate for the American people(and world) that Ron Paul is out of active politics. At least thats how I felt and still do to some degree because I have no idea what influence he will have in the future. I'm pretty sure allot but it does feel like a loss. He was RIGHT THERE and all we had to do was wake up and elect him! Too bad for us that our culture is just too damn ignorant that they threw away this opportunity. He would have been the best president of our lifetime, if not in our entire history. Thats just how I feel.

I'm daydreaming here but I cant help but imagine if he did become president... The speeches he would have made and the number of people finally able to hear the truth, and be informed in a way that makes people think. We're talking 100s of millions of seeds here and would have resulted in major progress intellectually.

Anyway... if it had not been for Ron Paul, I would still be struggling if even that with the truth and true meaning of what liberty is all about. I think and hope your right, the meteor shower is just beginning.

I just noticed your signature. MIchael with an ~ael

Reminds me of that CNN line 'Ron Paul with a heart....'

To the OP, get charged defending turf. Purging Boehner, Paul Ryan et al who approved the conservative purge from committees isn't boring. And Ron is speaking out on facebook, again. Let's see what he's up to when he is completely out of congress (the session is technically until January, I think.)

Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

I want you to know that I appreciate you keeping up the fight. Sometimes it seems like you are single handedly keeping RPF afloat. I look at the Grassroots Central section, and half the posts are authored by you.

Keep up the good work; don't burn out. Meaning, don't forget to take care of yourself.

With much respect,

Michael with an ~ael.

Without Ron Paul

RPF and even THIS site is struggling to remain relevant... When you take out principle, you are left with irrelevance...

But then venting and gossip is always more fun and interesting than stuff that holds people accountable for their own actions and God forbid, makes them THINK and ask questions, especially of themselves!!!

RPF and even this site fall prey to the former instead of the latter.

And I don't expect that to "change" any time soon!

You raise

valid points.

Principles must be adhered to. The defining principle of Libertarianism is self interest.

Did you call John Boner's

Did you call John Boner's office's today? Nothing's boring when you're giving them hell for their treason.

Quit? F NO! We've just begun to fight!!!!!

It's hard not to be a menace to society when half the population is happy on their knees. - unknown

Agree and bump but - Please don't go away...

It may be too late for you to read this but I sure hate to see good people leave this site because we can help teach each other so many things.

We can help keep each other on top of things before the sheeples find out - that is, if the EVER do.

So I hope you hang on here.

We are a VERY tiny community of correct thinkers.

My guess is that in time, you won't be able to resist the value of the DailyPaul and you'll be back.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

stay where your not wanted???

All this site does is attack those not "on message", and now there is NO message!

Yet the mods STILL treat this as their personal toy and CENSOR!!!

It's a strange American illness.....

nothing is any good unless it's "entertaining".
Never mind, you go and be entertained by the Kardashians, Jersey Shore.
and MTV, and we'll watch as Dr Paul cuts a swath through the universities and gets under the skin of the politicians who blocked him. The Dr Paul show is just getting started.
