Justin's under attack—again.
Not a month after they failed to defeat Justin at the ballot box, the D.C. Establishment is taking another whack at him. And this time, it's making national news.
Beltway newspaper Roll Call reports that House leadership booted Justin off of the Budget Committee. Three other principled conservatives were kicked off of their committees.
What's the message? According to an anonymous Establishment lackey, "You want good things in Congress and to have a good career? Better play along nicely."
The people of West Michigan just returned Justin to Congress—despite a vicious special interest smear campaign that outspent him 2-to-1.
West Michigan didn't send Justin back to D.C. to "play along nicely" with trillion dollar deficits.
We didn't re-elect Justin to "play along nicely" with unconstitutional violations of our civil liberties.
And we sure didn't return Justin to Congress to "play along nicely" with the corrupt power brokers that got our country into this mess.
We need to send a message of our own. https://secure.piryx.com/donate/b3y1Ooay/justinamash
Justin challenged the Establishment with his principled, conservative approach. Now the Establishment has struck back.
And the country is watching.
Justin's phone has been ringing off the hook over the last 24 hours. The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal—they've all been asking:
Will Justin cave?
Will he sulk off after being smacked by the Establishment?
Or will Justin stand up and continue the fight?
You and I know the answer. Justin will never back down from a fight. He always upholds his principles in Congress. He won't forget who he works for and who sent him there.
But now we need to do our part. We need to prove to the Establishment that we've got Justin's back. We have to show them that they can't take down a man of principle.
Will you stand up to the D.C. Establishment?
You were essential in Justin's victory a few weeks ago. Justin's deeply grateful for your faith in him and your support. Frankly, we were all looking forward to a couple months off from politics.
But the fight's been brought to us. And we simply can't win it without you.
Please make a $10, $20, or $100 donation—anything up to the limit of $2,500.
The next 48 hours are critical. The Establishment and the national media will be watching to see if Justin's support grows or flags.
We need your help. I know I can count on you to come through one final time this year.
Thankfully and in liberty,
Justin Amash for Congress
P.S. Can you dig deep and contribute $20 today?
