Good stuff. Thanks.
Although I believe he is correct regarding the root cause of illness (stress weakens the immune system and causes shifts in the spinal disks, which then interfere with the central nervous system), he is mostly right on.
I have been using the techniques of Dr. Kurt Ebert, an American Psychologist who frequently lectures at Cambridge, for years, with varying degrees of success. Dr. Ebert advocates accupressure techniques to boost the immune system to cure virtually ANY disease. Dr. Ebert recently refined his techniques and I have now been able to overcome an illness that has plagued me since childhood, i.e., chronic yeast infections in the sinuses. His website is here. http://www.the-tree-of-life.com/gogsrc.htm
If you are an atheist, do not worry, the techniques will still work for you and most of them are FREE.
A little something from way out --
I like alternative ideas, although when you reject conventional wisdom, you wind up kissing a lot of frogs before you find a prince.
One idea I liked regarding health and disease had to do with the chemical make up of our cells, and the rates of vibration that those chemicals produced when excited by energy. The concept was essentially that good health was our cells vibrating at frequencies that promoted their efficient operation, while disease came from imbalances in their chemical composition that made them vibrate at rates that were that interfered with one another.
Also when foreign bodies were present in our bodies, as they always are, as long as their vibration rates are harmonious with the vibration rates of our cells then they do us no harm, but when the vibration rates interfered with the vibration rates of our cells, disease resulted. This is why for example, one type of bacteria can be beneficial to us, while another can kill us, and this is why improper pH can kill us (isn't pH measured in milliamps).
I doubt this explains all disease, but I think this is something that is part of the picture.
You might call it the war of vibrations within us.
Liberty isn't given to us; it is taken by us, and if not, we will not have it.
Dr. Ebert's accupressure techniques embrace this theory.
Also the theory of "attractor fields," first proposed by Dr. Rupert Sheldrake and Dr. David Hawkins.

Thanks.
