Mikhail Gorbachev Quotes...Did The United States REALLY Win The Cold War?

"Gentlemen, comrades, do not be concerned about all you hear about Glasnost and Perestroika and democracy in the coming years. They are primarily for outward consumption. There will be no significant internal changes in the Soviet Union, other than for cosmetic purposes. Our purpose is to disarm the Americans and let them fall asleep."

"In October 1917, we parted with the old world, rejecting it once and for all. We are moving toward a new world, a world of Communism. We shall never turn off that road."

"Those who hope that we shall move away from the socialist path will be greatly disappointed. Every part of our program of perestroika … is fully based on the principle of more socialism and more democracy. ... I would like to be clearly understood ... we, the Soviet people, are for socialism. ... We want more socialism and, therefore, more democracy. ... More socialism means more democracy, openness and collectivism in everyday life."

" … We will proceed toward better socialism rather than away from it. We are saying this honestly, without trying to fool our own people or the world. Any hopes that we will begin to build a different, non-socialist society and go over to the other camp are unrealistic and futile. Those in the West who expect us to give up socialism will be disappointed. ... It’s my conviction that the human race has entered a stage where we are all dependent on each other. No other country or nation should be regarded in total separation from another, let alone pitted against another. That’s what our communist vocabulary calls internationalism and it means promoting universal human values."

"In our discussions here at the forum there was no trace of the futile debate about what is better, capitalism or socialism...We should seek a synthesis of ideas and values that have proven their viability..."

"Further global progress is now possible only through a quest for universal consensus in the movement towards a new world order."

"I am a Communist, a convinced Communist! For some that may be a fantasy. But to me it is my main goal."

“Democracy is the road to socialism.”

Gorbachev didn't say that, Karl Marx did.

Now that America has re-elected a communist president, are you sure we won the Cold War?

The Perestroika Deception

http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/09/the_perestroika_decep...

September 25, 2009
By John Griffing

That long and patient strategy of deception was developed in the halls of the KGB, and dutifully carried out by Communist subversives in the United States. Prominent KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn has called it the, "perestroika deception."

According to KGB documents published by Golitsyn, "perestroika" and "glasnost" were always intended from the beginning to serve as a media ploy to deceive the West into lowering its defenses to the point where Soviet goals could proceed unchallenged....

Even former Soviet Premier Gorbachev, the eventual face of these policies, later acknowledged their true nature:

"The decision to launch a new economic policy, which substantially widened the notions of socialism and the ways of building it, was imbued with profound revolutionary dialectics."

Translation: world conquest will proceed as planned.

The "revolutionary dialectic" is a tactic that has been employed throughout Soviet history.

The word "glasnost" appears in Lenin's writings 46 times.

In his book, Perestroika: New Thinking for Our Country and the World, Gorbachev said outright, "Perestroika is closely connected with socialism as a system."

Answering those asking, "Are we giving up socialism?" Gorbachev replied, "Every part of our program of perestroika...is fully based on the principles of more socialism...."

Gorbachev has even been as blunt as calling perestroika a "continuation of the October Revolution."

In other words, the Soviet Union never really collapsed.

Communism didn't simply die on the vine and rot away into history after Ronald Reagan told Gorbachev to, "Tear down this wall."

It wasn't the end of communism, it was a new beginning.

In the 1950's, Reagan was commonly referred to as, "Red Ronnie."

In 1940, he married actress Jane Wyman to be divorced in 1947, During WWII, he worked with the Army. Surprisingly from boyhood, Reagan used to be a Democrat and considered Franklin Roosevelt his hero. In 1947, he was a labor leader serving the first of five terms as President of the Screen Actors Guild.

There may be signs that me have been pro-Communist since according to David J. Meyer of Last Trumpet Ministries:

“Ronald Reagan was a Communist in Hollywood during the time of the heavy infiltration of Communism in that movie capital just after World War II ended. Reagan was the President of the Screen Actors’ Guild and was commonly known as “Red Ronnie.”

Much more could be said about his subversive activities, but suffice it to say that it was Ronald Reagan who is directly responsible for bringing de facto Communism to the United States and providing the “Red” Gorbachev with an office in San Francisco, California, at the Presidio.

"I can repeat to my dear fellow party members: I have never no matter before what audience experienced any shame in saying that I am a communist committed to the socialist idea."

Mikhail Gorbachev, Izvestia, 1 March (1991)

When Gorbachev was in Oslo picking up his cheque and Nobel Peace prize for ending the Cold War and allowing for the overthrow of the old Communist order in Eastern Europe, he said: "To me it is self-evident that if Soviet Perestroika succeeds there will be a real chance of building a New World Order."

JP Morgan set up the Soviet Union

Please see Antony Sutton's Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution and his Western Technology series where he produces the receipts, the state department cables, etc. that prove that the Bolsheviks were set up with money from the good ol' USA.

The whole thing is a show that makes the bankstsers a lot of money and gives power junkies unlimited control.

"The earth is not dead matter. She is alive.
Now begin to speak to the earth as you walk.
You can speak out loud, or just talk to her in your mind.
Send your love into her with your exhalation. Feel your
heart touching upon the heart of the planet. Say to her
whatever words come to you: Mother Earth, I love you.
Mother Earth, I bless you. May you be healed. May all
your creatures be happy. Peace to you, Mother Earth.
On behalf of the human race, I ask forgiveness
for having injured you. Forgive us, Mother Earth"

Vladimir Lenin (in the early

Vladimir Lenin (in the early 1920s):

"First we will take Eastern Europe, then the masses of Asia. We will encircle the last bastion of capitalism, the United States of America. We will not need to fight. It will fall as a ripe fruit into our hands."

And, "We must practice coexistence with other nations, until we are strong enough to take over by means of world revolution.... We are not pacifists. Conflict is inevitable. Great political questions can be solved only through violence.... It is inconceivable that Communism and capitalism can exist side by side. Inevitably one must perish."

------------------------

Rykov, Lenin's successor in the Council of Soviet Commissars, corroborated: "It is our duty to inculcate in the minds of nations the theories of international friendship, pacifism, and disarmament, encouraging their resistance to military appropriations and training, without ever relaxing our own efforts in building our military equipment."

Gorbachev was pretty amazing,

Gorbachev was pretty amazing, basically a double-agent against Communism.

That's quite interesting,

That's quite interesting, please elaborate!

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Yes

Please do..he rose rapidly through the Party ranks and sold his country out imo.

The guy is a hard line communist.

Your two sentences are

Your two sentences are contradictory. The hard line communists tried to have Gorbachev killed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Soviet_coup_d'%C3%A9tat_attempt

Ventura 2012

I read in The Rise and Fall

I read in The Rise and Fall of Communism that his Grandfather was carted off to the gulags and Gorbachev never forgot it. Also that the collapse of the Soviet Union was far from inevitable, especially as soon as it happened. Gorbachev forced the issue and he did it so stealthily that by the time the hardliners knew what was going on it was too late to stop him.

Ventura 2012

But ask yourself now, did the

But ask yourself now, did the Soviet Union really collapse? Or was it an engineered fake collapse by design to make, "America fall asleep?"

http://www.kenraggio.com/KRPN-Gorbachev-PresidiumtoPresidio.htm

"It is my opinion, for instance, that the USSR didn’t
disintegrate naturally but was ordered to collapse.
Gorbachev was told to vacate his power base, and also
to inform other leaders of the Soviet bloc nations to do likewise.
Those orders came from the Capstone."

"Within two years of Gorbachev’s ‘ouster’, Gorbachev Foundation/USA had moved into the disused military offices of the Presidio in San Francisco. There, with the fantastic view of the Bay to cheer him, Gorbachev set about his new role in earnest. He launched GF/Netherlands, and GF/India (Rajiv Gandhi). And he formulated plans for Green Cross International, his own version of ecumenical activity for the "spiritual alliance of all true believers in man’s ‘earthly habitat’"

Gorbachev at the Presidio: a bonus for a job well done?

The Presidio in San Francisco is one of the most famous citadels in American History. Established by the Spanish in 1776 on the banks of San Francisco Bay, it has served as a principle American fortress during both aggressions and defense. Operated by the National Parks and Conservation Association, America's only private nonprofit citizen organization dedicated solely to protecting, preserving, and enhancing the U.S. National Park System. An association of "Citizens Protecting America's Parks," NPCA was founded in 1919 and today has 500,000 members.

Judi McLeod, Editor of the CanadaFreePress.com published an article on November 15, 2006, entitled, "Nancy Pelosi: One of Mikhail Gorbachev's Most Useful Idiots," which connected the dots between Gorbachev and Pelosi.

McLeod explained that Gorbachev, via his "Green Cross International," devised a legal mechanism for converting American military bases to "global centers for sustainability."

The breakthrough came at the 1992 United Nation's Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit, one of the largest globalist conclaves in history, including 108 heads of state, and over 170 governments represented.

Gorbachev helped create and forward Agenda 21, a "global sustainability" document which, among many other things, helped set the stage for converting military installations around the world into globalist activity centers.

That's not Soviet Communism

That's not Soviet Communism though. You can be a globalist and not a Red Communist.

That's a pile of horse poo. They call it the, "Communist INTERNATIONAL," for a reason bro. It's not just a Russian thing.

I would highly recommend this book for you. Paranoia over Leninism/Stalinism is a sort of religion for some people. The Western experiment is Fabian Socialism. That's what we have here and that's what Gorbachev is. Not a Leninist/Stalinist. A Leninist/Stalinist would not have allowed the democratic reforms that Gorbachev allowed.

He does seems anti-war now.

Russians say he was President but never a leader.

I am not qualified

To argue Gorbachev's intentions but your description of "fabian socialism" is in line with what G. Edward Griffin says in "The Creature From Jekyll Island."

Obama was groomed to do this

Obama was groomed to do this from a young age by communist party members. The Communists swore they would infiltrate the US and we'd become a socialist country. So far, they were right.
