Epic Battle In King County (WA) GOP Ends In Epic Fail - For Us.

Results from the Saturday Dec 8th GOP Organizational Meeting in King County, WASHINGTON are as follows:

EVERY liberty-minded candidate got shut out.

Just like the King County GOP wanted.

God how they hate the Ron Paul people.

Even the coin they used to determine the outcome of a dead-even tie (for State Committeeman) must have been an establishment republican coin, because Matt Dubin (a great Ron Paul supporter and our last hope), lost that too.

Many subtle, little, blink-and-you'll-miss-them tricks were played there.

For example, TEN (10) PCOs were denied entry because they didn't (or couldn't) pay the $20.00 "DONATION" as they called it.

Nice!

Way to "grow and unite" the party King County GOP.

You probably lost 10 PCO's who may have gone home and cut up their republican affiliation cards.

Guess they'll get us out of the party one way or another.

And - how fair was that to the constituents of their precincts who voted for them and expected representation?

------------------------------------------
Do you know what the RNC and GOP learned from their losses in 2008 and 2012???

NOTHING - ZERO!!!

I don't expect my committee to be much better in January

I collect my elected seat in January.. I have an appointed seat now, because I showed up to all the meetings, took my own roll call, and when someone missed so many meetings.. I asked to replace them. I volunteered for everything, and of course they don't want me.. and I guess that's what makes it fun.. is I can volunteer to do everything and they don't want me.. so it's got to be really hard for them to have to keep their facade while Ron Paul Republicans are around., because they don't want to do it, but they don't want us to do it (especially baby boomers)

Of course they don't want us. Too bad for them,. because I'm not leaving.. I'm having a sit in, so to speak.

Love it.

As the subject says.

Eric Hoffer

Bye bye GOP

It was painful while it lasted! And thanks for Bugman for talking me into the torture of being a PCO!

I'm enjoying being an independent now - good luck GOP in ever turning your party around without us! It's a toxic brand out here in California and in a great many other places I've travelled through, I'm not sure we'd want it even if they had handed us the keys!

YOU QUIT. THE BAD GUYS WIN.

Although I believe staying

Although I believe staying within the Republican party is temporarily a good move in order to force a change in direction, I also think Ron is making another big mistake by not starting a new political party. Yes, ending ALL political parties should be the ultimate goal. The time is ripe for a new party. Give it a name that is recognizable to a large segment of the current Republican party, e.g. Goldwater.

Maybe, disaffected Republicans in WA can start another party within the state like disaffected Republicans did in NV. If the GOP won't bend to OUR goals, then let's break it into pieces....just in time for the Goldwater party to pick up the pieces.

New Party Opportunity

I agree with tpreitzel. The Republican Party is self-destructing. If ever there was, is or will be a time when a new party has a chance of being a true contender, this is it! Mainstream Republicans make statements everyday about the party's extremes and not about what's best for the country. The Democrats are ignorantly leading the American people towards a cliff that is about more than money. And they're doing it with the pedal to the metal. I believe these two parties are no longer of, for nor by the people! It has become corrupt, about power-playing and their own egos and financial superiority. Most are so out of touch with reality, we brush off their comments much as we would "crazy Aunt Ida's." Then we realize what insane bill they've passed (NDAA, Obamacare, higher debt-ceiling, etc.) and we can hardly believe it. We need our own party to be represented! We've already proven the Republicans cannot win without us.

It will be here beyond your children's lives.

Quit wringing your hands over it and just do what Ron asked of us. Engage in the GOP and run for local or county party office.

I'll bet you've never been to one local or county party meeting.

Am I right?

Live the lifestyle of liberty.

Resist tyranny in all its forms. Only by that means can you be truly free.

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world - no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”
― Woodrow Wilson

Did that rat Wilson really say that?

I've heard that he never said this but would like to know if he really did.

In any case - he sure as hell SHOULD have felt this way.

In my opinion Woodrow Wilson is the biggest piece of crap we ever had in the White House.

Followed closely by FDR and then George (W.) Bush.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I don't think so...

I've tried to find it myself, and this video sums it up:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sr2DspCZig

you're right he should have said that - and much much more.

Sigmund Freud actually co-wrote a book with a member of the American delegation under Wilson whom resigned when the final treaty was drawn. It talks about how Wilson's dad was a preacher and Wilson was always trying to win his favor and may have developed a sort of 'Jesus-complex' over the years. The extremely positive way he and his 14 pts.(the terms of the armistice) were received across Europe after the War would have made any man feel like a savior.

Of course the 14 pts - with its promises of self-determination for colonial areas, freedom of the waters, no secret treaties, no international trade barriers or sanctions, mutual disarmament among military - was immediately scrapped and instead Britain, France and the US got everything (due for the most part to a continued blockade of Germany) and pissed everyone else off.
The Treaty of Versailles not only led directly to WW2, but also: Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Persian Gulf/ Iraq, Israeli-Palestinian conflicts.
A young Ho Chi Mihn was a cook in Paris, decided he could represent his section of French Indochina - Vietnam. He stood before the committee to read the French Rights of Man and the US Declaration of Independence - to which Wilson replied something like "we can read that on our own - thank you, NEXT!" He and the other Asian delegations had to go back to their homes and tell their people that the West had tricked them. They were done with the west, they instead looked to the new system of the North, with such promise - they turned to communism.

Wilson, certainly oughta be most unhappy - thats a lot of blood on one man's hands. of course thats not even mentioning the sentiment expressed in this fabricated quote... when you put it all together its unbelievable what he accomplished. By far, the worst.

Don't forget Lincoln

.

I was just about to say the same thing

when I saw your reply. Lincoln invaded the south for wanting to exorcise states' rights. Anybody notice the parallels with the new Lincoln movie? They are setting O up to be the next Lincoln.

I am Ron Paul.
