Beyond NAFTA: Shaping the Future of North American Integration

While NAFTA partners pursue a trilateral approach with respect to different initiatives, the U.S. also has a separate bilateral border and regulatory agenda with Canada and Mexico. This is part of ongoing efforts to create a common economic and security perimeter. As the incremental path towards a North American Union continues, citizens from the U.S., Canada and Mexico are not being consulted, much less being given a choice in the matter even though the plan threatens the future sovereignty of each country.

This is important information, thank you

There were several points that are very important.. first, I don't know why, but I found something not right about the "legalization of marijuana" in WA and CO. Not too long ago, TX was in the MSM headlines for it's conversation on seceeding from the union..

On an American map, if you draw a line from NE WA to SE CO, anf follow it through to SE TX, you split the USA in half.. and where does the propsed oil line Obama wants to sign? "President Obama is under pressure to make a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline. The proposed project would carry oil from western Canada to the Texas gulf coast." Coincidence?

The article talks about the commitment the Mexico has to the USA's war on drugs..

It's as if the legalization and the oil popeline are the same recipe in the mideast? A reason for MIC to sustain troops to protect the oil pipeline and have the UN, rather than the feds fight the war on drugs here.. as we did gloablly? Paybacks?

This link is included in the article,http://www.ustr.gov/about-us/press-office/fact-sheets/2011/november/outlines-trans-pacific-partnership-agreement and I think it is what superceeds the constitution, and why they fight us? I don't know, but I think I'm seeing a drug war taking shape on US soil and I suspect CA, OR (that already have medical marijuana laws) will be big players.

It's really amazing to read and think about this, and this is why I need leaders, like Ron and Rand, because what we are facing is such a "matri-universal" concept built with perpetual war on certain drugs.. for oil, that we may not need with technological advances.

I just read this in the TPP under legal texts:

Environment. A meaningful outcome on environment will ensure that the agreement appropriately addresses important trade and environment challenges and enhances the mutual supportiveness of trade and environment. The TPP countries share the view that the environment text should include effective provisions on trade-related issues that would help to reinforce environmental protection and are discussing an effective institutional arrangement to oversee implementation and a specific cooperation framework for addressing capacity building needs. They also are discussing proposals on new issues, such as marine fisheries and other conservation issues, biodiversity, invasive alien species, climate change, and environmental goods and services.

Once I learned about the NAU

Once I learned about the NAU plans in 2006 through Lou Dobbs on CNN and Congresswoman Kaptur's speech on the House floor, I've keep my "spidey sense" up to the changes. They have been pretty obvious after 2006 such as the FTA allowing Mexican trucks to start coming up over the border into the U.S. without Congressional approval. Americans were up in arms over that in the early 1990s. And no one has said a word this time. The Mexican army has been allowed to do some business over the border IN THE U.S. supposedly fighting drug traffickers. George Bush (jr.) approved (again without Congress I believe) the joining of Canadian and U.S. military on the northern border. And our borders have been left unsecured which is troubling. Lou Dobbs reported in 2006 that the plans to integrate the countries was to start in 2010. So when the banking collapse came in 2008, it was no surprise to me. If Americans aren't happy about joining the three countries, losing our sovereignty and Constitution...how could the bankers/elitists force it on Americans? By killing the currency. I'm not sure if it's all been planned a long time ago or the plans are coming because they can't control the dollar's demise. But now that I understand how central banks rip off the people through interest rates ("hidden tax") on a fiat currency, it's pretty obvious what is happening. They seem to be forcing the dollar's demise, hiding it from the people of the 3 countries in order to cause suffering. It is in times of desperation that people accept things they normally would not. It was after the Weimar Republic's hyperinflation when people over there accepted Hitler. They were in a severe depression, desperate, hungry, etc. Hitler promised jobs, food, education and the moon. It's going to take Americans "in the know" and prepared to help others in their times of desperation so that they don't accept something that will destroy our country, Constitution, and freedom.

for later reading. Thx

Inter(nation)state - 69 signs. Recently tacked on to all the US-59 ones. The slow creep of globalization... No one has raised a rucous, and our complacent Governor Good Hair is selling big government republicanism. We're screwed in Texas, we'll be the first to go when the borders are dissolved ala' European Union style with a single currency.
