Obama and the American military label all young men – between the ages of say 15 and 35 - who happen to be in battle zones as suspected insurgents who they can target and kill.

Under the Bush administration, children were tortured.

Now, the U.S. military is starting to target children for assassination in battle zones.

As the Nation reports:

In a despicable article in Military Times, the US military says that children are legitimate targets in the war in Afghanistan because sometimes the Taliban and other insurgents use kids.

America is going to be lost fighting wars in far away places.. The empire is what is doing us in. Makes you wonder who is really pulling the strings.

This is just another example. I feel for the kids that follow those orders. Killing people is not healthy for anyone.

I pray for peace.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

if that applies to America then it is a threat to dissention.

which is mostly young people... I dont understand any other purpose behind the age bracket

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

It's all psychopathic

Not sure if killing a child outright is morally better or worse than capturing an innocent reporter and torturing him for years on end at Gitmo.

Doesn't Say Much

for the troops that are willing to do it.

This is nothing new

The atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed how many children?

Even Madeline Albright blatantly admits killing 500,000 children is "worth it" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM0uvgHKZe8

Death by the US govt... "You know, for kids" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SwvSu3jxAA... In a room at the Pentagon, this exact scenario is being played out. Minus the hula-hoop, maybe.

(I will ignore abortions, for this argument. Hard as it is)

It's OK, we are the good guys.

We are the Christian nation, spreading Democracy. They will love us for it.... or else.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Last I saw, we are a pagan

Last I saw, we are a pagan nation filled with people like you.

We keep on saying, its the people that have to repent, not the government. The government is the symptom of how people are.

Because we were founded by Christians doesn't mean such nobility has been inherited. Salvation comes to the individual who repents and turns to God.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I resent this comment!

I happen to identify as Pagan and your use of the religious identity to imply that Pagans are immoral is hateful and un-Christian like. Not all liberty minded people are Christian. Not all Christians are liberty minded or righteous. I am so sick of people spouting religious garbage in politics. In this country we have separation of church and state. Keep your religion out of my face please.
