Something to remember

I think it's indisputable that this kid was a dick to the cops.

However, one this to remember about this situation is they (the police) came to his front door, without a warrant, and chose to stay at his front door and take his verbal assaults. If they did not like his verbal assaults, then they could have left his presence.

Now if the kid followed them down the hall berating them persistently, that might be a different issue.

The founders would be ashamed at us for what we are putting up with.

Yeah de-escallation is a skill not an obligation

but people should really become more skilled at it. Just because we have a supreme court protected "right" to get mouthy with cops seldom means it's a smart idea in terms of getting the resolution you actually want.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

I hope he sues the cops and

I hope he sues the cops and the university.

Not the way I would have

Not the way I would have handled it. I think you can still be respectful while remaining firm, but good on him anyway.

The respectful way to handle one who breaks in without a warrant

The respectful way to handle one who breaks in without a warrant and carrying a gun is to shoot them first and ask questions later.

In this case you have a GANG (3 armed thugs), no warrant and if it weren't for the guy recording his own video they probably would have roughed him up and made more false accusations so to falsely justify taking him to jail.

In any case those who falsely accuse others deserve exactly the punishment that they would have imposed on their victim.

These GANGLAND COPS deserve to be convicted of the same crime and punished according to the false charges that they intended to impose on their victim... immediately after all three are FIRED from law enforcement of course...

Deuteronomy 19:16-21

16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother;

19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.

21 And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Why should you be respectful to bullies?

I have never understood people saying this about cops.

Cops are hired thugs, and a part of the largest, most successful gang/organized crime in the world.

They do not deserve respect. I am all about being respectful to those who deserve it, and dislike organization like WeAreChange for that reason who are disrespectful to people and act as bullies themselves.

But DO NOT be respectful to bullies! Ever. I go out of my way to piss off and be rude to cops, since given half a chance they do the same thing to me.

The Philosophy Of Liberty -

Agreed, but it doesn't

Agreed, but it doesn't matter. He knew and defended his rights. Period.

His life and liberty was threatened. He was scared and right.

How he speaks is not important.

What these GANGLAND COPS did is criminal and they should be fired, arrested jailed for trespassing under color of authority, and they should face these charges and serve also the sentence they would have imposed on the young man.

If cops broke into my house that way they would have had an all out war on their hands.

They had NO RIGHT.

I can't believe how many dislikes it has.

I was commenting on the video late last night and debating with a guy who said the student (paraphrasing), "gets what he deserves because he didn't comply or be polite with the authorities." He even stated that if only the student wasn't being rude and provoking the officers, he wouldn't have been in this situation.

I noted that he has a slave mentality.

Obviously he didn't get it.
