Why arnt we getting started on 2014?
Submitted by mikezelot on Thu, 12/13/2012 - 00:33I posted on here about running for a local county position like trustie like we are supposed to and I ask for advice and get no help instead every one is arguing about gmo and rand Paul how about helping the people who are out there running for office like me?

It's just that we can't agree on who is going to be the national representative..
Locally I'm busy providing assistance in the form of advertisement. Statewide I do a little as well.
At this time too, I'm trying to raise money for a website that will help grassroots associations.

Why bother?
I cast what was probably my last ballot on Nov 6th 2012 for Ron Paul.
I will not donate another dime,not walk another precinct,not promote anyone including his son Rand,Justin Amash,Andrew Napolitano,Ron Paul himself or anyone else that runs until one thing happens:
We get our vote back. Paper Ballots counted in full view of the people that cast them. With no electronic tallying of any kind.

I hear ya though, you are not the only one who has suggested that. I have suggested money bombs for DP'rs who plan on running for their local office so they can get started, but whatever, if we argue over Rand enough maybe Napolitano will run in 2016 and fix everything for us.

I think a money bomb for canidates would be great! Local canidates don't have the money hell I flip cheese burgers at McDonald's how the hell am I suppose to fund a campaign. But it's not even about the money how about just help and advice from others that have run?

Help, advice, support, financial contributions. As you pointed out in your Original Post some of this is just not as interesting as fighting over Rand Paul and whatnot. So, what do we do about it? Would you like to run? How can we help you? How can we help each other? I would love to see major grass roots 2014 activism.

Since you're running for a local position, I recommend inquiring in your Ron Paul meetup group. I've met soooo many people who knew way more than I did through my local Ron Paul meetup.
