Should Illinois Legalize the use of Marijuana for Medical Purposes? Vote in Local Poll

Was amazed to see such a question in my local paper's "reader poll". As I don't smoke marijuana myself, I certainly believe every person should have the right to do so if they choose, especially if it helps them medically. I use to know a woman who had fibromyalgia and she swore it was the only thing that actually helped relieve her pain.
