Romney funding his own campaign might backfire. Who's gong to send a rich guy money? Yeah, the people who max out to all the warmongers, but how far has that gone for Rudy et. al.?
It may come down to him being almost alone in funding his campaign, which can be used against him.

I do not care about MSM
I do not care about MSM besides calling them and reminding them that RP supporters will not go down quietly. Raising money is more important then our attempt to win the MSM and, it buys advertisements, literature, fuels more professional campaign staff, and makes the movement that much stronger. We have a huge night planned here in Indiana for January 21st and we will be showing our force that evening in one of the most conservative and richest counties in the state.
Not a Big Money Bomb!
I am concerned that the MLK money bomb keeps getting hyped as a huge donation day when it was set up as a way to see how many Ron Paul supporters are "out here" and to get a respectable amount of money to the campaign at the same time. That's why we're being asked to give only $10 instead of the $100 in previous money bombs.
I was a little chagrined that Dr. Paul even mentioned it to Wolf Blitzer, because I don't expect that day to show more than a little bump in donations.
Our phenomenal success on December 16 was barely mentioned in the media, so I suspect that even if we donated $10 million it still wouldn't matter. If we bring in only $100,000, however, as we well may, you can be sure THAT will be all over the media as evidence that the campaign is falling apart.
Please don't psych yourselves up for a huge haul that day. I suspect it ain't going to happen. (And HOW I hope I'm wrong!)
Underestimate and Overdeliver
Let's not get our hopes up. We're trying for quantity this time, not some huge $10 Mil. This just discourages some if we don't hit it and the MSM claims it's a failure afterwards. We don't need this stuff. Please, I would love to see $10 mil but let's underestimate and overdeliver.

I'm psyched up for January 21st!!!
These money bombs have shown slow growth but with large participation during the past two events. In fact, I have been carefully watching the www.ronpaul2008.com website with the donors and we've done quite well with first-time donors as of today 157 out of 243 donations are from new donors. This represents a total of 65% of today's donations being by these new donors!
We are growing very fast as an organization!
Don't get down people :)
