There are experimental
There are experimental aircraft and missile test launches out here all the time. Why is this such a mystery?
Someone bothered to down vote my comment? I live here and I've seen and heard plenty. Grow up.

Rather suspicious
It is rather suspicious to me. I live maybe 20 miles from Vandenberg Air Force Base in the central California coast. The whole house shook worse with the first jolt and loud noise and lasted it seemed about 20 seconds, as I started to get under my desk. Then it seemed like a few minutes later it again, then a few minutes passed and again, just like earthquakes with loud rumbles.
I got several local breaking news emails saying they didn't know what caused it. A small earthquake occurred in Beaumont, CA only.
Went on USGS to check and enter info that I felt it. It had data of people very far away 200 or more miles away that felt it too.
I heard they did nuclear tests in Arizona not long ago.
Anyway they say now it was a F-16 military jet going 2000 mph braking the sound barrier, 50 miles out in the ocean off Vandenberg, though after they contacted Vandenberg they said they had no known military exercises.
Sonic booms from planes don't
Sonic booms from planes don't shake buildings. As a kid, sonic booms were common until the Govt no longer allowed them over residential areas because of the noise. I used to love to hear them, it was fun, but they won't shake your house.

My friend lived near a major
My friend lived near a major commercial international airport and it totally sucked! His house rattled all the time. The chandelier would rattle and the windows would rattle.
I'm surprised a sonic boom wouldn't shake buildings. I believe they banned concords from flying over land because I think the sonic booms would shatter windows!
I'm not sure what would make the house shake aside from an earthquake, but I do know that living near an airport was a real estate nightmare for my friend's parents.
would you happen to know
what would then?
i do not live by an airbase, but have had noise to loud
i thought it was going to fill the house up,and blow it apart

No idea what would cause your
No idea what would cause your house to shake that would make noise, other than maybe an earthquake or an explosion. But, it definitely isn't a sonic boom. They don't shake houses, just make a big noise coming from the sky.
