Piers Morgan had his butt kicked again! This time by Ted Nugent. Classic

I commented on that too earlier

I agree with you, cause he wasn't such a jerk when he was face to face with Jesse Ventura either.

LOL!

So true!

The Nuge probably woulda jumped over that table like a wild animal and administered a 1st class smack down if he had been....

What would the Founders do?

yep he probably knew thats

yep he probably knew thats what would of happened

Piers Morgan

reveals his IGNORANCE immediately when he implies that there is a disconnect between patriotism and criticizing the president.

What a jackass. (I guess that's what happens when you have a Queen.)

As we know here, to criticize government is the ZENITH of patriotic duty.

Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan need to be smushed together in a small box and sent the EFF back to their island.

What would the Founders do?

As a Brit, I have to say the one advantage

of having a puppet monarch is absolutely zero "patriotic" (nationalistic) respect or obedience is offered to any political office...

Also a huge amount of people hate the monarchy here, pull out the paper and groan to see them, express their disgust. It's mostly little old lady's that respect them. I bet Morgan's a dutiful admirer and I'd rather it go to a puppet than someone significant.

I'm not a fan but in all honesty I'd take it over "President Blair" or "President Cameron" it's bad enough such smiley guys being PM's...Also it limits the power of the executive quite a lot compared to a presidential system too as they're "just a Prime minister". If we had no monarch I'd worry it could get even worse for liberty here, with our politicians...

Interesting points.

I suppose I've revealed a bit of my own ignorance here (what with the Queen comment). It's funny, what we're "sold" in the states about the U.K. .... likely just as inaccurate in truth as anything else we hear trumpeted from the MSM.

Thanks for your perspective.

Cheers!

Kiss My Ass

...you limy bastard!

I enjoyed that video.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

I won't watch Nugent in anything.

He's an embarrassment.

That's too bad

If it's one thing Nugent can speak well on, it's firearms. He's actually quite likeable in this interview.

By the way, who exactly is he an embarrassment to? Libertarians? The DP? Americans in general? You personally? Because I don't feel embarrassed at all.

I'm not exactly a fan of "the nuge" myself, but why wouldn't I stand with him when I agree with him (on this particular issue)?

Yeah, he's hawkish on FP and probably has some other perceived flaws as well, but I don't want nor expect for people to agree with 100% of my positions.

All of the above...

.

except not really

Given the majority of the comments are positive, most of the DP doesn't seem to be embarrassed by him.

Given that there are over 350,000,000 people in this country, I find it hard to believe that all Americans are embarrassed by him.

If *you* are embarrassed for/because of him, then that's perfectly fine and all that needs to be said.

Like I said, I'm not a big fan, but to freeze someone out when they're on the same side of a given issue isn't very productive. We (as in liberty minded folk) need all the allies we can get!

The fact that this video

The fact that this video interview was released, including the parts that made Piers Morgan "look bad" and there was a pre-roll ad in front, is proof to me that the interview with the GOA and subsequent ad-hominem attack was a transparent publicity ploy.

Their goal is clicks and ratings and there's no easier path than attacking hardcore beliefs. Lame.

Although unrelated, but

Although unrelated, but timely, here's Ted singing a Christmas carol on the Letterman Show.

I salute Piers Morgan

While he does argue for gun control, he also has had 2 guests who are great defenders of the second amendment. He has allowed them to talk, and presented the mass public with their arguments. This is fair to both sides of the argument. The truth is obvious. Hopefully our fellow Americans will see it.

It's very different from the O'Riley type shows that don't allow counter arguments, interrupt, insult, attempt to discredit.

Piers interrupts as any normal person would, and then backs down when the guest keeps going. He doesn't insult. He does provide straw-man arguments, but so will the public, and it's useful for them to see them rebutted.

I guess you did not watch him

I guess you did not watch him act like a teenage hood rat insulting and taunting Larry Pratt from Gun owners of America on his show, calling him "unbelievably stupid and a liar, true though he did make the show in the first place.

BTW: None of these people like Piers are journalist. They insert themselves with their ignorances and bias at every opportunity and it what passes for news these days. Morrow and Cronkite are dead. Sorry to the kids that will never know that type of expectation from the media and hopefully with a little research they will understand why their grandparents are so willing to trust the MSM while suffering a general generational ignorance of the internet with a nostalgia for the US they think they grew up in...

He doesn't insult?

Did you not hear how insulting he was to Larry Pratt?

This video is an oldie

but goodie

Thank you for the clarification on the date of the video

as he definitely felt more at ease after the recent shooting to outright attack Larry Pratt.

That was so gooood to see..

TKO!

Total Knock OUT!
Seems Pierced Organ didn't get enough from the Larry Pratt! LOL

And what about this 'controversial' song?!
Funny how Morgan expects us to share his view that we should respect the president simply because of his job title... Well he can kiss the Queens butt all he likes! Respect is earned in the US! Not give to self proclaimed Monarchs!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

Not a fan of Nugent

but he just owned Morgan's dumba$$. Morgan just doesn't get it or he's paid not to get it.

But HEY, any publicity is good publicity, right?

Lima-1, out.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Nugent

...is a clown imo. That is why they had him on. He is the ideal guest for Beck, Limbaugh, and Hannity.

donvino

Piers Morgan

used to co-host Britain's Got Talent and American Idol...shows that (IMHO) are the equivalent of the ***Gong Show***. When he got the CNN gig...it further discredited CNN for me (which I stopped watching after Cooper treated Ron Paul so badly in the 2008 debate).

A complete and utter joke.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

The Problem W/ That Interview...

...is that, regardless of Ted Nugent's words, he completely fits the profile that people think of as "right wing gun nut". He looks the part and he speaks a little bit like a madman ("Suck on my Machine Gun").

In other words, the message gets drowned out by the messenger.

Agreed.It doesn't matter if

Agreed.

It doesn't matter if we are technically right.

The Liberty Movement is dealing with a society where, if we want to get some results sooner, we have to communicate different than our level.

We are technical. Society, in general, as a whole, relates to emotion and warmth. We, in general, as a whole, are neither.

I suggest we adjust to package our message in simple analogies, using that exact emotion and warmth style.

It is about figuring out how to do it.

* * *

I bet if we were to hold a debate in front of non- RP/libertarian type people, against ourselves, with one person technical and the other with emotional warmth, with both telling the same message. The warm style is going to win the debate

Disagree

while I do not care for Nugent at all and I detest the quisling organization (NRA) that he is attached to, it is long passed the time for a broadening of such blunt, bottom-line rhetoric, backed by millions of ready, willing and able hard-men to back it up.

Trying to modify and lower the tone simply ensures that the louder cacophony, which is the government, the media propaganda-arm of government and the legions of societal anti-liberty pukes will have the larger voice and be able to shape the 'debate'.

Those enemies must be made to realize that the direct result of their plans and desires, if achieved, will be bloody civil war, brought on directly by them and their anti-Constitution and anti-liberty actions.

This should be brutally pointed out, consistently, and then turn the 'debate' to that blunt-fact and question how many dead Americans do they wish to see by employing the force of government against those who will not allow the pulling of Liberties Teeth, aka disarmament.

Dirt-simple.

Any who don't grasp the bare-basics of liberty and the Constitution already, will certainly not have an epiphany based on weasel-speak and/or 'reasonable' discussion. Things have gone way too far for that.

Focus on ensuring the usurpers, abrogators and other various and sundry anti-constitution/anti-liberty pukes, are crystal clear that THEY and THEIR actions, if pursued, will be the cause of the response.

As I see it, of course.

I agree, through our

I agree, through our eyes.

Unfortunately, we are losing.

If we base adaptive strategy, through their eyes, we should be able to make more progress.

"Our Eyes"?

Really?

I think that very few of "us" (whatever "us" is) would agree with my assessment, let alone my approach; That, if the underlying principles and foundation is even understood or agreed with.

Most have conceded to or attempted to argue this and most other such liberty-issues on the framed-stage presented by the enemy, thus we continue to lose.

We continue to lose because we are not even arguing the important issue, but merely 'how much' gun-control and 'how much' liberty do we 'agree' that government should be allowed to take from us.

I say, not one single bit.

As I see it...and with no hard feelings to you for seeing it a different way.

After five years, I have

After five years, I have personally been involved in seeing what works and what doesn't, at least for our area.

Getting the Liberty message out to people, at the grassroots level, is very hard to due to us being shunned.

I do believe we can get the message out to more people with adapting the presentation of the message. It is the route I will be going.

Hence, have the presentation be setup for the majorities eyes so it can reach a bigger audience.
