Documentary Exposing the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Lie (For Christian DPers)

You may remember Pastor Steven Anderson from his experience being beaten and tazed for refusing to cooperate with unconstitutional checkpoints (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUzd7G875Hc) or his appearances on the Alex Jones Show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89gjyhqH17s).

He recently collaborated with a few other people to create a documentary presenting the Post-Tribulation, Pre-Wrath rapture of the saints.

I grew up with everyone around me espousing the Pre-Tribulation rapture, and this video does a great job exposing the fallacies of it.

It also spends a lot of time demonstrating how government has become more powerful and centralized, leading up to a world government.

The documentary is called "After the Tribulation: The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Fraud Exposed" (Link below)

Luke 3:38
Isaiah 43:3-5

What if?

What if, in the purposes of God, the scriptures were given to the ancient nation of Israel in order to prepare them for the advent of the Son of Man, the Anointed One, the Saviour of the World, the Seed promised to Abraham through Whom and in Whom ALL the families of the Earth would be blessed?

What if, in the foreknowledge of God, this Anointed One, this Maschiach, would be rejected by the very nation to whom the scriptures had been given, crucified as a criminal, buried in a tomb and rise again on the third day. He would then appear in a changed yet still substantial form capable of eating and conversing yet without any blood, only the flesh and bone of His body and able to appear and disappear at will or to close the eyes of those who saw Him so that they did not recognise Him?

John 5:39 "You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me, 5:40 but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life."

What if all of this had been prophesied in the scriptures given to the nation of Israel yet no one in the entire nation understood what they read and expected the Anointed One to be a King like David who would throw off the yoke of Rome and set the remnant of Israel at the head of all the nations?

Luke 24:44 Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.” 24:45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, 24:46 and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day,"

What if, after appearing like this to those who had believed into Him, the Anointed One ascended to the place whence He had come to assume the supreme position of authority in the universe after commanding His apostles to teach the nations of the world everything He had taught them promising them that He would be with them and indeed in them?

What if as He had promised, He returned again in Spirit to anoint all those who had believed into Him and to recreate in them by His own Spirit a new creature comprising Himself in Spirit, Mind, Will, Emotions, Desires and Body in union with each of their now awakened individual spirits initially but with the purpose of extending the domain of the new creature to the mind, will, emotions, desires and body of each individual?

What if, as had happened with the ancient nation of Israel, the teachings of the Anointed One along with the teachings of the apostles were written down, combined with the scriptures given to the nation of Israel and given to this new people who were called out from every nation of Earth to become a New Creation that would be a combination of the spiritual realm and the physical realm united in the Head and Body of the Anointed One?

What if, in the foreknowledge and purposes of God, the people who received the scriptures, except for a chosen few, the Elect, did not understand them and began teaching things they had not received from the Anointing because in time they rejected this Anointing and in doing so rejected the very One they professed to believe in, preferring as they did their own understanding of the scriptures and the political power they conferred on them?

What if, from time to time, the Anointed One would revive His people and give them a better understanding of the scriptures only for them to once more fall away and follow their own understanding and practices preferring the Old Creation to the New Creation.

What if in every generation the Anointed One, in the foreknowledge and purposes of the Father, selected certain of His people who would surrender completely to Him and undergo the necessary discipline to become the new creatures He had designed for them to be in union with Himself. What if this is what He meant when He said "Take eat, this is My Body that is broken for you".

What if these chosen ones, the Elect, from every generation have been built up in the secret place of the Most High, over the centuries into the Body of the Anointed One who is the Head? What if this New Creature is the Second Adam in His fullness? What if it is this New Creature, the Anointed One, Head and Body, in all His corporate glory manifesting in the multitude of the sons of God, the very clouds of Heaven, that is the expected "Second Coming" of Christ?

What if most of the people to whom the scriptures were given have completely missed what they teach and like the Jews of old are expecting a revelation, an unveiling of the Lord Jesus Christ that is more consistent with their own low carnal understanding than with the truly glorious manifestation, two millennia in the making, that is soon to be made visible to a groaning Creation.

Romans: 8:18 "For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us. 8:19 For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God. 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly but because of God who subjected it – in hope 8:21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children. 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now. 8:23 Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies."

Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, 8:29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified."

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)

Pre-trib rapture....

...isn't in the Bible. But neither is a post-trib rapture or a one-world government.

Audience relevance: Whom was Christ speaking to when He said "you" and "this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened"?

Read Mark 13, Matthew 24, and Luke 21 in context and I believe there should be no doubt that Christ was speaking to the believers of that generation about the end of the age to come in their lifetime (which happened in 70 AD), not the end of the world.

The apocalyptic language Christ was using was the same type of language found in the Old Testament (Isaiah 19:1, judgment against Egypt; Isaiah 34:4, judgment against Edom)-- not to be taken literally.

The end of the U.S. as we know it may be near, however.

Good info. for waking up deceived Christians & seekers of truth

...I don't know what the preachers featured believe in regards to salvation, but understanding the brunt of the docu can go a long way toward separating wheat from the chaff.

Convincing.

After Mutliple interruptions

I finally finished it... ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Thanks

Where in the Bible does it say Rapture?

It doesn't.

Jesus is not going to come back because He already came (70 AD) - destruction of Jerusalem.

Israel was destroyed. Jews (Zionists) are NOT God's chosen people (elect).

Study Preterism! (And don't study it from someone who is a dispensationalist)

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." (Dr. Seuss)

Where do you recommend that I start?

I haven't looked into Preterism from an unbiased source (or a Preterist source for that matter) before. I feel very skeptical towards it, but I'd like to know more about it.

What do you think is a good place to start studying?

Torn between

full and partial preterism. While I agree Jesus came in 70 AD and the Jews fell from God's favor, I can't get past Revelation Ch.20 as being completely full filled. Therefore I fall short from a full preterist position.

Why wasn't Rev. 20 fulfilled?

Why wasn't Rev. 20 fulfilled?

While I am open

to other interpretations from other preterist, I believe we are in the millennium (chilioi) now. In other words, being fulfilled but not completely as of yet.

Basically, you are saying

Basically, you are saying that Jesus did not defeat Satan?

Never said that

Satan is in prison and will be released at the end of the thousand years, for a short time, and then be imprisoned again or thrown back into the abyss along with death, hades and those not found written in the book of life.
If you can make an argument that chapter 20 has already been fulfilled I'm certainly open to consider it. I've heard many already in my studies and they just didn't add up.

Oh my

20 minutes into it and it is PRICELESS...

Seeing that

I had to "jump-clone" yesterday and will be unable to get back into my real self, this looks like a good one to watch. 8)

Wow, what a perversion from that website

Here is what the verse really says. (using KJV, just like the above website claims to use.)

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1st Corinthians 15:51-52)

This is what the above website referenced did to that verse.

This is the Rapture of the Church, which may take place at any “moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1st Corinthians 15:52).

They chopped out the first two words of the verse preceding the word "moment" in 1st Cor 15:52. So instead of it reading "In a moment", they make it sound like it is saying "At any moment". This is one of the points Pastor Anderson is making in this movie. The pre-trib rapture people have to twist and contort scripture to come out with the result they like, one of which is to say that the rapture can occur at any moment. You have just confirmed his point. Case closed!

To add to what is at that link:

Guess these folks didn't get the memo:

Turtullian, Ignatius of Antioch, Justin Martyr, Lactantius, Cyprian, Irenaeus, etc.

"And the heaven withdrew as a scroll that is rolled up." For the heaven to be rolled away, that is, that the Church shall be taken away. "And every mountain and the islands removed from their places intimate that in the last persecution all men departed from their places; that is, that the good will be removed, seeking to avoid persecution." - Victorinus (270)

"Because all saints and the Elect of the Lord are gathered together before the tribulation which is to about to come and are taken to the Lord, in order that they may not see at any time the confusion which overwhelms the world because of our sins."  -- Ephraim of Nisibis (306-373)

...here Christ will stop and will be visible to all, and as easily discerned by all, good and bad, as the body of the sun at noon-day; as yet He will not descend on earth, because it is not fit to receive Him; but when that and its works are burnt up, and it is purged and purified by fire, and become a new earth, He'll descend upon it, and dwell with his saints in it: and this suggests another reason why He'll stay in the air, and His saints shall meet Him there, and whom He'll take up with Him into the third heaven, till the general conflagration and burning of the world is over, and to preserve them from it....

  --John Gill (1748)

"The distance between the first and second resurrection will be somewhat more than a thousand years. I say, somewhat more--, because the dead saints will be raised, and the living changed at Christ's 'appearing in the air' (1 Thess. 4:17); and this will be about three years and a half before the millennium, as we shall see hereafter: but will he and they abide in the air all that time? No: they will ascend to paradise, or to some one of those many 'mansions in the Father's house' (John 14:2)." -- Morgan Edwards (1740s) Founder of Brown University

Are you saying that these men's beliefs supercede the Word?

Not sure if I'm following your point here.

I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. Ps 120:7

Better to be divided by truth than united in error.

No, I'm not saying that at all

One of the main points against the pretrib view is that it originated with John Darby in 1830, and I'm merely showing that this is not true.

The imminent return of Jesus Christ was something many of the early church fathers believed, based upon their study of the Word.

I believe the Word speaks for itself and is not given to private interpretation.
