What kind of Libertarian are you?

Came across this little ditty on the Tube. The narrator in this video disects the different strands of libertarianism and how Ron Paul brings them together.

Personally, it helped me understand the mindset of some of you and how we compare and contrast. Everyone on here should watch this. Then maybe we can be one big, happy, crazy, freedom family!

Assignment:
1) Identify your category of libertarian. (In the spirit of avoiding collectivism don't post it here.)

2) Comment with your favorite aspect of liberty.

I'll start:
I love freedom of speech and using it to preserve all other liberties!

LearnLiberty had a great video series on...

the different variations of classical liberal thought. I'd highly recommend it.

It's not just about what the role of government is, but HOW does one determines what the role of government is.

I Am the Keep and Bear Arms Kind...

...because I recognize that although libertarian ideology and philosophy are critical as core-beliefs and as the underpinnings of a free society, reality intrudes and forces me to realize that government will NEVER willingly give up its hold on power and that once re-instituted, severely-limited government or even no government at all (non-libertarian people) will still pose a threat to my liberty and someone will, inevitably, attempt to intrude upon my life, property and/or other liberties.

Human nature and the nature of government will not change.

You profess the non-aggression and the peace & love and I will attempt to maintain it, at least in my sphere, via force of arms when that becomes inevitably necessary.

I won't be maintaining it alone

Yours is my #2. My rifle and I will be right next to you when push comes to shove.

My Brother...

Hope it never happens, but if it does, I will see you in the tree-line.

i like the control of my own body

and i disprove the force to consent for ones special interest.

I am of the kind who embraces completely, no more and no less...

I am of the kind who embraces completely, no more and no less, ALL of the following :

http://libertydefined.org/principles

And anyone who bothers to pay close attention enough, these principles turn out to be also a faithful way to rephrase the same essence as of ALL of the first 10 amendments, which make for the Bill of Rights.

My favorite aspects of Liberty (two of them) :

SELF-RELIANCE and INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Note : both imply freedom of speech, move, and association as NATURAL, undeniable pre-requisites. NATURAL RIGHTS.

Self-evidently, to me, anyway :

WHO can be responsible if they can't even speak their mind freely ?

WHO can be self-reliant if they can't even move and associate their ideas, skills, and efforts with others freely ?

Peace.
