Wall Street Journal columnist explains on Twitter how to deport Piers Morgan
Submitted by emalvini on Sun, 12/23/2012 - 16:11Daily Caller:
Wall Street Journal columnist James Taranto Saturday night joined in the chorus of American voices suggesting that British-born CNN host Piers Morgan could legally be deported from this country for his televised attacks on the Second Amendment, and pointed out the legal precedent that leaves Morgan vulnerable to deportation.
Morgan began the dispute when he complained on Twitter Saturday about a petition on the White House’s “We the People” Web page that asks the government to deport him.

Piers
should be deported and then embedded as a journalist with the British troops he maligned. Bye-Bye Piers.
I'd like to see Piers Morgan
I'd like to see Piers Morgan spend the next 2 years in Kunar Province.

I say deport all of the
I say deport all of the foreign press that come into this country and use propaganda to try and undermine our Constitution. Our country became the greatest in the world because of all the Articles of the Constitution -- including the Second Amendment.
I think we ought to
Take Piers and Martin Bashir, super glue them together by their buttcheeks and make them walk back to Britain with floatie shoes on.

This idea is interesting...
All officials of consequence are sworn in to "Protect the Constitution from all enemies, foreign or domestic." It also appears that this was actually successful in the past as a means to effect such a deportation, at least from the content of the article.
So, since Corporations have fought for and been granted the rights of individuals, can the same same be done to them? If they act in ways that are Anti-constitutional, can they be deported or dissolved? I would love to see many of our media outlets getting slammed for this kind of offense.
As far as Piers Morgan goes, what I have seen has been despicable name calling and a systematic running down of the principles of the 2nd Amendment. Good Journalists would ask questions that uncover motives and principles, not promote one position over another. I want a healthy debate, not a witch hunt.
Happy Holidays to all!

He Received A Deportation Notice
but managed to get the order withdrawn. He ended up scrapping his plans to tour in the wake of his impending deportation and the legal battles surrounding it.

We can crush Morgan
and his arrogant agenda by simply watching his silly little show, making notes of the advertisers and announcing boycotts of their products. Sure as hell worked on the bombastic Limbaugh.
If not us than who?
Bombastic
I like that. However, it applies to every politician and news douche out there. (Except our quiet natured Ron Paul and maybe the Judge)
skippy
its funny
but sad that people are still looking toward Big Government Force to solve a situation. Sure Morgan has his right to speak his irrational thoughts. I still have my right to complain (to CNN).

For the record
I believe Piers should not be deported for his hateful speech against free human beings. This is certainly humorous and interesting, but I don't condone it.
What's more, I find it deeply troubling that there are so many here who join in the crowd. The ones who speak sensibly and rationally in defense of HUMAN rights as respected more highly than American rights tent to get their comments down-voted.
I want to smash Piers Morgan's face in with a brick, but I can't. That would be violent. I want to deport him and shut him up and get him off the air, but I can't, because that would be contrary to his rights as a human. Even though he pisses on those rights and says they should be taken away, he still has them.
Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.
I don't think anyone who
I don't think anyone who agrees with deporting him is saying that he should lose his right to free speech. That's a human right that can never be taken. Our government must survive for the purpose that we created it, to preserve our human rights. As long as it continues to do so, it has a sovereign authority to act upon the immigration laws we delegated to Congress in the Constitution. As part of preserving our human rights, our government must remove any foreign person who tries to remove our human rights. It is why we entrusted our government with the delegated authority to establish laws of immigration and naturalization.
He can still speak freely from just outside of the port-of-entry, he can even protest from outside the fence, he can even bring a case to be heard by our courts, he can still produce content for the media, he can pray he gets let back in, etc. So, no, nobody is taking those rights away from him. We're just rolling up the welcome mat.

Free Speech
I can't support attacking his right to free speech, or the right of his employer to give him the platform without government mandates.
Speech, besides being a right, it helps us to get the message out. He does so poorly defending his position that schools should be kept defenseless (what parent of a school child wouldn't wish their teacher armed in a similar situation?), that it can only help us gain support for the 2nd Amendment.
Even if he did a better job, the thing to do would be to turn him off.
We'll know we're winning when we get him to change his mind on the issue, and that should be a goal. Tossing him out of the country only further alienates those who agree with him and can't be called a win, at all.
What do you think? http://consequeries.com/
you can't expect full rationality in times of chaos
as how thomas jefferson rebuffed the notion that the french revolution could've gone more peacefully after ages of oppression. that dove attitude of yours will be unbecoming of any person's rallying prowess during time of crisis.
That's not a "dove" attitude.
that's a principled attitude. Our side is the one that favors individual rights. Even for people with whom we disagree. Such as yourself. :)
