Brits Counter Petition: We Don't Want Piers Morgan Back

Clarkson: ‘It took us 40 years to get rid of him’

Brits have responded to the petition calling on the White House to deport Piers Morgan for his anti-second amendment stance by lodging a petition of their own with UK Home Secretary Theresa May entitled ‘Stop Piers Morgan from being deported back to the UK from America’.

The original petition to deport Morgan for his unconstitutional rhetoric following the Sandy Hook school shooting has now achieved almost 70,000 signatures, well beyond the 25,000 required to mandate a White House response.

However, a counter-petition featured on the change.org website calls on the UK government to prevent Morgan from returning to the UK.

“We got rid of him once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago,” the petition reads.

Seriously

If I was new to a country, I don't think I would be publicly bashing one of its Constitutional laws. Heck, I wouldn't even want to play around with the laws of another country on a vacation. I always considered while vacationing another country I was a representative/unofficial goodwill ambassador of my country.

I hope this is just the start

of a movement to ridicule this clown into the obscurity he deserves. Perhaps Saturday Night Live is looking for a new poster boy.

There are no politicians or bankers in foxholes.

As an outside observer, it

As an outside observer, it doesn't seem very constitutional to deport someone over their rhetoric. But what do I know, I haven't even read the constitution. I do know that it's not very libertarian to want to deport anyone for their opinion. That seems more totalitarian.

I think it works both ways...

aren't all of these posts examples of free speech and opinion? Until someone violates Mr.Morgan its just free speech. Both sides are requesting that a government action be taken against the other, but until such actions are actually taken (and they will not be taken because these petitions only get a "response" from the President, nothing more) its just people blowing off steam about an irritating "journalist?".
Honestly, I would love to see Morgan just leave on his own.
The fact that he is able to use an instrument of government (MSM) regulated by the FCC (govt.) to promote the violation of my rights (by govt) makes this a bit different than just his right of free speech. My tax dollars indirectly (or directly) go to fund media (or regulate it) and thus however insignificant or indirectly, we are paying this a-hole. So, he is using this platform to try to disarm Myself and my family. Therefore, he is no friend of mine and I would say he is a traitor to our Constitution, but he's british,so Im not sure how that really plays out.
As an American, to me, he is not welcome here...and I feel no different about most of the rats in DC. Put them all on a boat to nowhere.
And Im not so sure that it "isn't very libertarian" to deport someone for their opinion. Its actually everyones right to openly voice disapproval with someone, even to the point where that person leaves or changes location... but yes, you're right, not so libertarian to have the government remove someone for you.

Jeremy Clarkson

is awesome. I think he once punched Piers Morgan in the face. What can I say, the man deserves a medal.

I can hear him now.

"Bugger off, you great sniveling git!"

Hank (the crank) Johnson

I'm just afraid that if The Brit's let him back in , And they allow him to get to close to the coastline,, The whole island might capsize!

lmao this is great

lmao this is great

Why did CNN hire him in the

Why did CNN hire him in the first place? I cannot watch him without getting irritated. His condescending tone when asking a question grates on my nerves (he uses a high pitched tone at the beginning of a question). Do they teach that in British schools to try and intimidate the lower class? Interesting. If so, it will not work here in America because we do not have a class distinction.

This is typical British

This is typical British humo(u)r.

Poor Piers, a man without a country

that wants him. Yes, it's typical British humour and sure did give me a laugh. :) I haven't watched all that many shows; it's too frustrating the way he cuts people off and redirects the conversation away from what doesn't support his personal views.

Yes, they don't have the ability to do that.

We Should STOP VALIDATING him!

Positive or negative, giving him this much attention only validates the little rat. People should stop going on his show and stop acting like it matters what he says.

skippy

not anymore than his existing base audience

it's not like he's a relative unknown and we're helping make his debut. we're attacking his base audience along with this which is why it works

you are right

But I still couldn't help but laugh

bwahahahaha

This made me laugh for a couple minutes.

Really?

Hahahaha... you can't make this $#!+ up!

LOL!

Maybe we'll have to put him on a barge and let him float around until we find somebody who wants him.

:)

perhaps North Korea?

exile him to a country he doesn't want to go to. perhaps somalia. either that or get out the tar and feathers and party like the 1760's.

Gosh, Piers M must love this attention. . .

I would rather see him debated out of the market of free ideas. . . and forgotten ;-)

Yes, of course, BUT ...

... CNN won't allow a real debate (not without the prick resorting to name calling and turning it into a circus).

Good point

I would love to see Ron Paul or Stewart Rhodes Oath Keepers founder debating him on CNN.
Perhaps someone can start a petition drive?
