Ben Swann takes a look at the 2013 NDAA and section 1029 also known as the Gohmert Amendment which guarantees the right to trial in an Article III court. But is this section 1029 ineffective? Make sure you check out Part 1- the Feinstein/Lee Amendment

STAND WITH RAND 2016

This is the amendment Rand supported?

So, did he not understand? Maybe he should put Ben on as his top adviser.

Ron Paul supports a new 9-11 investigation.

What I find most frightening...

about the indefinite detention provision of the NDAA, is the vast effort used to obfuscate its authors and meaning. I don't recall another bill in recent history, so steeped in confusion, that has tried so hard to appear to be something other than what it is.

It feels eerily like the US has established a real-life version of the fictional Chateau d'If from The Count of Monte Cristo, a prison not for the guilty but a place to put the ones they're ashamed of.

Unless Ron Paul! -Lorax

Ben's best piece.In this

Ben's best piece.

In this video, Ben's traces his subject. He did it when he discussed "...otherwise entitled." He explains this phrase when he points out what it conveys, that it's one of negation. "If you are a suspected terrorist, you have no right to a trial because you are an enemy combatant."

I'm elated to see journalism has returned to media. I always knew someone who understands language and is philosophical could do a lot of good in journalism. Speaking for myself, that is why, as some of you know, I discuss grammar rules. Grammar is the order of characters ranging from letters and their formations (words) and the starts, stops and pauses known as punctuation, all of which convey, or carry, ideas from the mental plane to the physical plane or vice versa. Language is the conveyor of ideas. That's all it is. And it's why language is damned important.

School's fine. Just don't let it get in the way of thinking. -Me

2013 NDAA explained by BennS: Part 1 and 2. Frontpage quality!

Great way to learn how to parse legalese circuitous tortuous terms.

I Posted Part One

and got attacked for questioning Rands decision.

I think it was the title "Is Rand For Us Or Not?" which

attracted negative reaction and NOT the BenS' program itself. In fact for your second posting of the same youtube with a more neutral heading I wrote:

"Textbook quality "how to think/ parse" exercise for kids (& adults) in homeschool & regular schools' classrooms!

Our Liberty Movement needs solid thinkers, clear speakers, loving teachers & creative activists in ALL aspects of our lives. Ben Swann is a GREAT asset for us! Thank you BenS & the poster, skippyD."

Unfortunately the one with the better neutral title was removed for double posting ;-)

Thank you for questioning Senator Paul skippy!

I saw that heated attack on u. U must be onto something. Keep being vigilant and you will keep helping those who choose to be awake.
