Check out Lew Rockwell blog, specifically the donations section!

Quick, go to!:

https://www.lewrockwell.com/donate/

LRC now accepts Bitcoin donations!

See this? This is a market regulated strictly by consumption i.e. a free market at work!
.
.

So the question now is: If it's good enough for Lew, is it good enough for YOU?
.
.
.
Full disclosure: Lew is using bitpay.com to accept payments for them which may or may not mean those payments are exchanged for fiat as soon as they're accepted. We'd need to ask Lew if he actually keeps any bitcoins in his bitpay.com account or not..

p.s.: $2 worth in bitcoins donated! And I did so from Europe, without giving out my info, without paying virtually any fees, instantly and without needing permission from anyone!

UPDATE!: What Lew says how it's working out so far?: http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/129917.html

A friend asks, "Now that you accept donations in Bitcoin, how has that worked out?" So far, the total is $1,899 in US dollars. Thanks to all who are participating.

Cool huh? :D

No.

The code is open source which means no legal ownership rights for anyone, everyone is free to read it in it's entirety and to even change and copy it as they please. See for yourself: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin

But also Bitcoin rules are embedded within the code and once you download a version that you agree with, you can't be forced to download a new version if you don't like it.. there is no autoupdate.

As long as you do sometime.. ;)

When I first discovered it almost 2 years ago I obsessed about it for 2 weeks straight, read all I could find, joined the developer IRC channel and pestered the devs with all the various questions and doubts I had about it's technical aspect and after all that you have to understand I'd never work so hard to promote it if the answers I found didn't fully satisfy my skepticism and paranoia.

I still have most of my savings in gold but I strongly believe Bitcoin is the future, not just as a financial investment but as a tool with which we can reclaim our individual freedom and autonomy without even firing a single shot.

I hadn't seen this!

Awesome!

Yep, check out Lew's update about how it's working:

Great news!

Now the rest of the Daily Paul crowd needs to figure out Bitcoin. Libertarians PRIDE themselves sooooo much on being soooo much more economically literate than everybody else, yet sooooo many of them can't figure out the economic logic behind Bitcoin. SHAME!!

Get on it libertarians. Spend a whole day learning about Bitcoin if you have to. Figure it out! It's the real deal!

It's true, I just today remembered this video:

Here's to hoping Lew might come out with a similar lecture!

I wonder if we'll get something like this article:

out of Lew sometime soon. It would be cool if they give at least some sort of a comment.
