Until this video, I had only seen Justin Amash

carrying on the RP legacy. I've got to do some research on Mike Lee but I like what I see so far!

BUMP!

Mike Lee is good :-)

But a Ron Paul or Justin Amash he is not...yet.

Justin Amash is on the horizon. Oops, that's already in my sig :-P

Mike Lee is my Senator...

...so I can give you a little bit information. His voting is pretty similar to Rand's. Lots of good votes and some strange ones. Endorsed Mitt Romney from the beginning. Has taken a lot of flak from many in our state for being a "fiscal conservative" while having to do a short sale on his own home because he couldn't make the payments on a Senator's salary. I like him, but like some other Senators and Congressman, he's no Ron Paul. So if you're looking for a really good Senator to take principled stands for liberty, you're going to continue to like him. If you're looking for the next Ron Paul, Mike Lee is going to disappoint you a bit.

I know there is not another RP out there. Thats a good thing in my view. Just like there is not another Judge Nap, another Lew Rockwell, or another Tom Woods.

Each have their own individual strengths and they all bring a lot to the table when it comes to freedom and liberty.

The big thing RP has on all the others for me, is RP woke me up and cured my apathy. Its not possible to go back to sleep after being awoken to reality so RP will forever be credited with that.

Kudos to courageous Mike Lee and Rand Paul, Jeff Merkley,

Ron Wyden and Mark Udall, who took the stand for our Civil Liberties.

Shame on Dianne Feinstein, who is "one of the Senate's richest plutocrats, whose husband, Richard Blum, has coincidentally been quite enriched by military and other government contracts during her Senate career" who "has acted as the most faithful servant in the Senate of the National Security State's unchecked, authoritarian power" for resorting to dick-cheney smear tactics against those senators who spoke up to defend the Fourth Amendment rights.

The protection of the 4th admendment.

The amendment was voted on in the senate today and only 12 senators voted YEA. And of those twelve only 3 were republicans. Seems more democrats care about our 4th amendment rights than republicans.Get on the phone and call and voice your disapproval of those that voted NAY
