Are we in hell?

I read in the Holy Quran
That the earth is the lowest heaven

Not sure if it was translated that well

Anyways truth is
We have a good picture
In front of our very own eyes

Can there be some place lower
With more sorrow more suffering?
With more cancer and more folks abused?

I ask myself this very question
Every single day

Are we already
In hell?

No. If we were, we wouldn't

No. If we were, we wouldn't be allowed to type these messages.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

A Week In Hell...........

A man named Vinny dies and goes to hell.

The Devil says to him "Hey Vinny we've been waitin for ya!".

Vinny smiles and walks with the Devil and the Devil says "I gotta ask you a couple questions, do you like to smoke?" Vinny answers "Ya, I love to smoke." The Devil says "Good you'll like Mondays we smoke everything cigarettes, cigars, weed everything."

"Now do you like to drink?" Then Vinny says "Of course I love to drink." The Devil replies "Great we drink everything on Tuesdays you will fit in great."

"Do you like to gamble?" Vinny says "Absolutely, did it all the time." The Devil replies "Great!, your going to love Wednesdays."

"Do you like to have sex?" Vinny says "Hell ya sex is the best." The Devil smiles and replies "We have sex with every type of woman you could think of on Thursdays."

And the Devil finally says "Now, are you gay?" Vinny frowns and answers "NO I'm not gay! And the Devil looks down and finishes "Oooo, Your gonna hate Fridays."

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

yes,

and since you are very clearly confused about the subject. I will offer up the Detroit/Motown explanation.
peace brother.

Not yet.

But hells a comin.

Earth, Air, Fire and Water

3 elements are named in one verse in reference to baptism.

Matthew 3:11: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Spirit is air. Check Strong's. What Strong doesn't say though is spirit or air is from the sun. My point is earth is missing. Earth represents the lowest realm or we wouldn't need to be "baptized" to grow into the higher levels water, fire and air. These are not physical baptisms. That is human error.

So I think you are right that earth/hell is much the same thing. The lowest level, ay.

Hell: to cover or hide. That is the old meaning.

You're using your preferred definitions.

In context, spirit is clearly referring to a being - that is, a Spirit. A living thing, not an element. Don't take this the wrong way, but it seems like you're projecting a meaning that obviously was not intended.

And no, Earth is not Hell. Earth is just Earth. We live on an amazing, beautiful, but fallen, world. There is great imperfection and violence, but it is NOTHING compared to Hell. Likewise there is tremendous wonder and beauty, but that is NOTHING compared to the New Earth.

I always have to remind myself that this is a beautiful planet.

Mother/Father Creator, Gaea, and the Sun provide everything we could ever need.

Errors in thinking have created all the turmoil on the planet. We are in a school of learning and given free will to make choices with their resulting consequences. Unfortunately the ruling group has imposed their consequences on us all. They remain stuck at an ego-power level when the collective NEEDS to move beyond that level.

The ruling group will not be able to get out of the way when it all comes falling down. They only THINK they will be safe. But that is what a school is all about, LEARNING; in this case learning by direct experience in a collective. School of hard knocks maybe, but not hell.

Thank you

Just to make sure you know what inspired me to write this poem.

250 Tamil women being raped in a hospital and nothing reported about it in the so called mainstream media - zero nada.

PALESTINE TIBET gets reports... nothing about suffering of the Tamil people men women and children.

Terrible.

Human errors in thinking and desire. The collective will evolve with much conflict and pain. But forward we must go.

The Concept of Eternal Burning Utterly Foreign To Bible

The Bible never talks about eternal burning, but rather of a fire with eternal consequences. The exact same phrases attributed to hell fire were used to describe the destruction of the people of Sodem and Gomorrah. The Bible clearly states these people were destroyed, and therefore they are no longer in pain and suffering.

So hopefully the closest thing you will see to hell is what you have already seen on this planet.

Partially correct.

Fire is used as a representation of guilt, consequences, etc., rather than literal fire. More than likely, the "eternal fire" is simply having to live for eternity knowing just how badly you screwed yourself over, rather than active torture. There is not a cessation of existence, however. The Bible is amply clear on that matter.

Remember: no human being you meet is a mortal.

Mark 9:43

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

This is just one example of many. Frightening indeed, but luckily we had one who loved us enough to endure our punishment so that we who know Him will never have to experience such a thing!

Thank you

Myself I never believed in the eternal burning gnashing of teeth etc.

"destruction of the people of Sodem and Gomorrah"

These people walk around us in our time.
I believe in reincarnation since I was 15(growing up in ultra-Catholic Poland under Communism).

Maybe heading for hell

with cancer up 300%, autism up 1500%, Alzheimer up 200% And diabetes up 500% in the last 20 years.

The only thing that has changed is the food supply, 90% of our food on grocery store shelves are GMO derivatives. The human population is deceasing in the US and I believe the next twenty years will be hell for the Americans.

Thank you Monsanto for true population control!

there is a profusion of life on this planet, and it is beautiful.

But the illuminati in charge want to obfuscate people of what that really means, and prevent them seeing that truth emanating from the Cosmos.

aaah, history repeats itself. . .

LL, you are in good company of Psalms poets: one third of the beautiful haunting Psalms are Lamentations. . . answers to the desperate Why God?! questions seem to be never forthcoming, except for the relief which springs forth from the memory of "rahamin", the loving caring womb of mother / GOD / universe.

i guess it's Purgatory and

i guess it's Purgatory and the representatives of Hell are currently in power. There was this really cool movie called "Gabriel" and it was in 2007, and the Archangel fell from Heaven and i guess it was really falling to Earth, but the Angels called it Purgatory.

Hell doesn't exist. That is a

Hell doesn't exist. That is a Protestant invention. You can't go any lower than we already are.

hmmm...

I find it odd that when things go badly we blame God...when things go well, we pat ourselves on the back.

Free will...ever heard of it?

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

I've often wondered "Where is God in all this?"

I know many that prayed for Ron Paul to win, the corruption to be exposed, bad people to be thrown out, etc.

Didn't happen.

"God, whose side are you on?"

My conclusion is that God will allow us (as a nation) to worship whatever we choose, granite countertops, a nicer car, sports teams, video games, etc. while ignoring liberty, justice, freedom, responsibility until it destroys our society to a point we must again turn to God.

Hell is the absence of God.

Hell

Is holding such a point of view. I know, because sometimes I consider that dismal perspective myself and nothing is more depressing. Our experiences in this world are strongly tied to what we think. So think positive, believe that things will change for the better, never let go of hope and have absolute confidence that each and every one of us can make a difference. Or if you're tired of the whole ridiculous struggle, focus on the spiritual...meditate to get some peace of mind or listen to some Alan Watts recordings on youtube. It always does me a world of good.

What if "hell" is just a frame of mind?

What if your perception becomes your reality?

Alright, yes bad stuff is

Alright, yes bad stuff is happening, but lets not exagerate here. Things can get alot worse than they currently are. Heck, they could still get alot worse in the UK. At least there is still the chance(although fading) that things will turn around without a massive armed uprising.

I remember this quote, I believe from someone on here:

The status quo got the US into the fix it is in now. If you think the status quo will make things better, you deny history. The status quo almost always ends violently with many thousands of dead and injured. The arab spring is just the most recent example.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Yes, this is Hell. This is also the Kingdom of Heaven.

Which we experience depends on us.

OOOh..you got that riiight.

OOOh..you got that riiight.

No... but we are getting close to one of the suburbs...

all totalitarian regimes start with a gun grab, then severe oppression and removal of human rights rapidly follows. Totalitarian regimes are about as close as one can get to hell on earth.

"Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern." ~~C.S. Lewis

i think the illuminati might have the technology to invade people's dreams. they seem very happy about that. they invaded mine one night. but it is smoke and mirrors when you get down to it. they have no power, really.

i just hope i'm able to eventually get out of this funk i'm in, and speak out before, during, and after they haul people off to the concentration fema camps.

I fear the moment is nigh

I fear the moment is nigh when i come home and see Full Blown Satanic Sh*t on the television. Or a 17 to 100 people on t.v. sitting and standing, and some smoking cigarettes, with their backs facing us, and then one turns around, and all of them turn around, and that one guy says, "we worship Lucifer now."

I had a nightmare where it was raining and i tried to make it out the front door, but there was this giant flat-screen television blocking the way and i couldn't get out the door.
