Candidate needs: 1,190 for GOP nomination (WSJ)

20 million donated through last qtr. has been slated/spent for ads/exp. in Super Tuesday states. RP HQ told us this.
Then...RP and HQ requested an additional 23 million in their Dec. 07 press release, specifically for ads/exp. for Super Tuesday. Remember that?

Campaign is not the only place money goes...
Something to remember, is that, unlike the other candidates, the national campaign is not the only thing that absorbs donors' money. In or local meet-up, we have just spent several fortunes on professional highway billboards, multi-county newspaper ad campaigns and other efforts. I have been absolutely amazed at how quickly people are stepping up to the plate, people who are by no means made of money, to fund the things we are working on.
We have been taking good, hard looks at what meet-up groups in Iowa and New Hampshire did in counties that carried high percentages, talking to them, borrowing their ad-copy, and trying to capitalize on those successes.
Most of the canvassing here is privately funded, not by the campaign. It's actually a good bit more efficient that way because we know where the money needs to go and can put it there directly instead of sending it to National and waiting for it to come back down. In addition, people who are maxed out on contributions can donate to both efforts as long as we stay clear of FEC potholes. So, we are sending money to National, but the amount being spent *for* the campaign is no where near the same as the amount spent *by* the campaign.
This is a different kind of effort.
Faith does not absolve us from trying to understand our world and make moral distinctions with the eyes and brain given us. Religion is as much responsibility as direction: Duty not Distinction.

I hit several tourist spots when in Chile - my best find was a group of 8 Boston College students visiting - they had heard of Dr. Paul from campus signs but didn't know much about him....I feel 6 of the 8 are going to vote for him....I also sign waved (1 man show) in front of the american embassy - had positive honks from employees driving to work and a thumbs up from a Marine guarding the embassy. I also sign waved at the airport and just lounged around with my sign in front of the check in counters of u.s. bound flights.....there's plenty to do everywhere....get out there now!!!
I'm going out again with my son to finish canvassing the neighborhood.....get out now and do something!

But we've got a FRICKING BLIMP!!! No other candidate has a blimp, Ron Paul has a blimp. No other candidate has airplane banners, Ron Paul has banners. It should be obvious, this blimp has done WONDERS, its a miracle. Just look to the 3 primaries that have past, the blimp wasn't there and Ron Paul didn't win. The proof is in the pudding...
