If you don't like and respect our Republic, The Constitution

Then move out. There are plenty of other places on this globe that you can move to where there is communism, dictators, oppression. I am sure that they will welcome you.

You see, our nation was built by free thinkers, innovation and hard work. We didn't ask permission or need others holding our hand to be productive and to build great things, and to make our country the greatest, freest nation the world has ever seen.

So, if you don't like freedom, Liberty, the Constitution [Law of the Land], then MOVE OUT and leave me and my country alone.

Did he get to any details

or was it a fluff piece all the way through?

I don't care for Walter... I saw his stupid attempt at the abortion issue.. again, he was just throwing ideas out without..Understanding the human variable in all things or how things would practically work out.

So, if Walter has something to say that's pertinent, I'll be glad to listen, if not, then please don't post things like that as if it's some sort of proof. All it was up to the 14 minutes, was more "We can do this" rhetoric and no substance as to HOW.

I want facts, concretely worked out ideas.

I'm waiting too.

I can't wait to see the response. If he comes up with a doozy, I may abandon Dr. Paul and nominate Steve for pres!

Hell I'm all for volunteerism in a great many ways

and as you've stated, I also would be on board with it if it logically played out but I have yet to find a strict volunteer-ist or spooner fan that has gone deeper than surface talk. They usually disappear, when you start asking for the practical conclusions to their arguments.

Well said, rp4pres.

I am certain now that we do see eye-to-eye. At the beginning, it may have been sloppy writing on my part, which I do from time to time.

I'm guilty of the same too.

Actually, after reading the

Actually, after reading the anti-federalist papers I think ratifying the constitution was a mistake. It's ultimately failed us. We gave too much power and now it's been abused with little hope of turning the tide.

The US is just too big and has too much power on the level of an empire. It should be broken up into at least 4 separate countries IMHO.

No paper in history ever failed a person.

It's like blaming guns for murders.

People fail.. not papers.

How about currency papers? What about crappy joint papers?

Just pullin yer leg ;-) Happy new years!

Was the Constitution ever lawfully ratified?

In modern Republics, the people get to vote on it.
OK, we were trail blazers and did not think to put it to a vote of the people back then. We could correct that mistake now... right?
At no time was I ever given the option to consent or not consent to be governed under the Constitution. I don't care how glorious the document is, if it was FORCED on the people, it cannot truly defend their liberty, can it?

Ron Paul supports a new 9-11 investigation.

As long as it still says...

As long as it still says "Dedicated to restoring Constitutional government to the United States of America" at the top of the DP, I'll keep coming here.

It's not just foreign born people coming here hoping to trash our Constitution and change our way of life though. It's also regular people you grew up with all your life that were born and raised here. It's not a perfect document, but any attempt to replace it will leave us with a document that is worse than what we currently have. An Article V convention would have the same result.

Yeah, the nerve of these Socialist telling us to leave if we

don't like it. Fuck them.. They'll be leaving if they keep fucking with us.

The Constitution was ratified by representatives of the States.

It was approved by the people by proxy.

But the revolution was for naught when Dishonest Abe Lincoln sent 700,000 men to their death in order to destroy the constitutional Republic and replace it with a Federal Union.

The 14th Amendment was likely a settlement agreement with Bankers. By 1872, Lincoln's war and his fiat greenback currency led to the bankruptcy that required such a heinous agreement. The Bankers didn't trust Congress either!

Who in their right mind would give Congress the power to go into debt and make the people, the debtors? I don't consent to that.

The federal government has a long history of sticking it to the people.

Government made an offer to govern. The several States agreed on the terms established in the Constitution, which was amended to include a Bill of Rights.

Government has reneged and is in breach of contract though agents that have sworn an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies.

The reward for such behavior is death for Treason. Or it used to be until Congress repealed such laws to protect itself.

How many Congressman would we need to hang to get Congress' attention?

Free includes debt-free!

"How many Congressman would we need to hang to get Congress'

attention?"

We won't riot like they did in California. We won't burn our neighborhoods down. We'll go straight to the sources of oppression.

If they stop us, then we'll go underground and form hundreds of thousands of PatriotCells. It'll be Afghanistan vs Soviets all over again.

If things don't change, Patriots will change them.

I'm a little troubled, not by the over against energy but

The operation against the Soviets in Afghanistan was concocted by the United States a perhaps partially funded by Oil Sheikhs in the Persian Gulf. I am pretty sure that their goal was not Liberty for anyone.

Bottom line, for me, are results for liberty. I see nothing redeeming in the success of driving the Soviets out of Afghanistan.

We don't have billions in funding. During the Rumble in the Jungle Ali had to take beating to Rope-a-Dope.

Unlike when Gandhi declared Indians had right to make salt, the public beating by English-paid troops brought global disgrace on the British Empire. We have spent the years since WWII betraying would be friends and bribing tyrants to the causes of empire. Who would be outraged on our behalf?

General Nathaniel Greene roped the British Dopes leading to the defeat of Cornwallis. The cost of the war to the British exceeded expected profits so the war ended.

Ruby Ridge marked the beginning of the end of our corrupt government, IMO. It has been falling apart ever since and in desperation the Federal Government has been grasping at straws. They are running the printing press and borrowing extraordinary amounts of money to bribe millions. It is futile.

As in Tetris when the blocks reach the top: Game Over. It's our game.

So how about this? First we try them for treason then we hang the guilty ones. Perhaps we can foster respect globally for openness and justice.

Free includes debt-free!

I appreciate your words but I won't take a beating lying down.

I won't be the next Ruby Ridge without some serious justice of my own.

If you can get them into a court for that I'm all for it but I don't see that happening. I have more hope for us taking over political seats than I would ever, trying them for treason, especially considering the political climate, we'd have to be in before they were even brought up on charges.

You my friend are a real optimist. :)

Edit: BTW.. You missed my point I think about the Afghans and Soviets. Even though there was backing.. The Afghans held out and were nothing but a ragtag guerrilla army.

Yes, perhaps I am too optimistic.

But I have to tip my hat to Dr. Ron Paul. Optimism is spending a lifetime in Congress and hoping to make lemonade from that lemon.

Yuri Maltsev quipped, "A pessimist is just a better informed optimist."

Yet here we are today. The government is failing, the straw that broke the camels back was this last election.

Only 30% of voters elected the sitting President: Tyranny of the minority.

I suspect none in Congress won the votes of a majority of voters.

Even under the terms of Modern Democracy it is a government of little authority.

Government is flat busted and in debt to the tune of 16+ Trillion, they plan to stick us with their bill for the debt they've incurred.

What do they have left? When will they start eating their own to save their own skins. Will the rats soon be jumping ship?

Dr Paul talks about how government is always behind the time. Their propaganda reflect this fact. The government is toast, they or their mouthpieces just don't know yet.

The history of the Afghanistan reaches back to the 1200s when the Mongols opened the Silk Road by eliminating the city-state tyrants with the help of the oppressed population and introducing free markets.

I guess Afghanis ignored the memo that proclaimed their liberty was forfeit.

I think that what I will do also. What can we as free men and women accomplish that will stun and encourage the world.

Free includes debt-free!

One quote that comes to mind

"A republic, madame, if you can keep it."

A republic needs to be constantly defended, and of course in 1913 Americans let most of that power slip away.

That does not mean we are defeated. Our numbers are growing.

I did. -But you're still a moron.

I respect what the founding fathers attempted to do with the US, but the US hasn't been following that plan at all since the Fed and some major corporations took over in 1913.

You live in the Fed's country now, a corporatocracy that only pretends to be a republic so the human livestock there doesn't wake up and fight it for what it is.

I moved to Southeast Asia this year and I don't see any any of the scary things you mentioned here at all. Many of the countries here and even in central and south america are paradises where the currency grows against the dollar every day and no central bank controls our every political whim. They may have had dictators 100 years ago, but their governments today are FAR closer to the original US constitution than the one being used in the US today.

You're living in an illusion PAF; you only think you have the freedom when you're one of the most caged animals in the whole zoo! Go travel more, you'll see.

HONEST RON 2012!
LEGALIZE LIBERTY!

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

here is my problem with the constitution

Altho I believe The Constitution should be restored for Public Sakes. There lies a flaw with regards to a government established by a system of Checks and Balances. Tyranny today is found within all Branches even in the Judicial Branch more importantly The Supreme Court. Lets be practical, even if Ron Paul were POTUS, every time he were sign a bill or an act into law (if it could get pass Legislative Branch in the first place). There is no doubt in my mind The Supreme Court would rule it "Unconstitutional" over and over again and The PEOPLE would Riot!

As far as im concerned The Constitution has created a monster out of Politicians and Corporate Lobbyist working together. History shows the smallest governments ALWAYS become the Largest. You can not "Contain" this Beast. hacking at its branches will only make it grow back faster. The only ensure way to protect people's freedoms is by abolishing it at its Roots and Eradicate the seed.

This Political Theory for a free-market anarchy is in no shape to take place today or even in 100 years for that matter. and so We ought support this noble cause to Restore the Constitution at all cost, even if it means risking our very lives not for ourselves but for generations to come. Telling those who do not understand that Will only hurt this cause.

"there's nothing fine and noble about dying in the mud unless you die gracefully. And then it's not only noble but brave."

Free market anarchy is all around us, every day.

Government has tried to stamp it out. Government became deadly in 1860.

The only problem with anarchy is that it means without rulers, but government wants to rule. (Leaving themselves exempted from the iron boot they use on us.)

Until 1835, The United States owed a debt to foreign banks.

A number of States had borrowed gold from foreign interests for their public works projects, including Michigan. Michigan spend the 5 million on roads, lost money on the project and sold the boodoggle for $2 Million in gold, leaving $3 Million of the note due in 1857 (part of the panic of 1857).

The War against southern autonomy bankrupted the United States who turned back to foreign bankers for loans.

The creditors call the shots. Every get a call from a debt collector or been visited by the repo man. I suggest that it wasn't the Constitution but debts we owed. Creditors don't care how you get the money. Too often government stooped to hook or crook.

That's my pitch. There would have been less corruption if the United States and the several States were debt-free.

Free includes debt-free!

freespeech468, therein lies the problem, for it is with you.

'Restore' the Constitution????? For 'publics' sake?????

You bow to the powers that be.

Here's a theory for you: When people take 'personal' responsibility and DEFEND and PROTECT it for their OWN sake.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Indeed however Government is the Problem

like Mao says "The Power of the State come out from a Barrel of a Gun."

I am wondering if you have ever been to a protest or had a can of tear gas shot at you before. Small free societies all over have been taking the Liberty upon themselves for a while, each time having be shut down through Coercion and Force of Government. We are just seeing the same thing happening on a much larger scale.

If you stand in Defense then you will surely Lose. If you stand in Offense then your odds for freedom are much higher against Government.

Many in this movement are still naive, but many will awaken.

RP reminded thousands and more of what was forgotten. It is his message that has brought us together. We understand through simple words how sound money is essential, the importance of abiding by the Law of the Land, among many other things.

You ask if I have ever been to a protest. I will continue to stand in defense. I will also continue to stand in offense, for they are BOTH required.

Faith needs to be restored to this movement, this r3VOLution, beginning with the individual, then onto local/state. Once that has been done, I have faith that we will accomplish what we seek, if not soon, then later. It WILL take an entire generation, one of which RP, I and some others profoundly understand.

What is the sense of living if you do not have and realize dreams?

There is more to a movement than reading and memorizing passages of history or laws written in books. It is up to us to add more yeast, and give them time to rise.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

If you dont like the constitution and the Republic

no one has the right to tell you to move out. You are welcome to your individual opinion even if I do not agree with you. That said what discusts me is the words we and our who gives you the authority to speak for others, certianly not me. I am sovereign and I do so hate the cowards that have to join gangs to become criminals, they typically use those words we and our and democratic all just terms to strengthen their position. Speak for yourself and meybe you can find somone to agree with you and join you. Speak for me and you make an enemy.
