Battle of Athens Tennessee 1946 - WW2 Vets defend LIBERTY with 2nd Amendment

A confrontation between the local sheriff and WWII veterans took place in Athens, TN in 1946 that we should ALL remember. A very sobering video to say the least. Now the second amendment is a little clearer.

Be sure to see the actual photos at the end showing the plaques describing the event.




This is so much like what we are going through now, no wonder that HAG Feinstein is so busy...

I remember watching that on the DP years back.. I remember Chris Matthew's question to GOA prez Larry Pratt about examples of citizens having to fight back against government. He mentioned this example, but I assume there would be many, many more examples around the world. Can anyone list other examples like this?

Research it. Federal agents murdered a woman and her infant child. Her husband fought back, killed a federal agent in self defense. He was innocent since the Feds didn't announce themselves as police and had no warrant. Jury eventually awarded the survivors money

This is probably the main reason

they want our guns. It's important to note that nobody who took part in the siege at the jail were charged with a crime. Unfortunately... don't see how it is relevant to today as there are no ballot boxes anymore for the corrupt to steal.

I just heard about it today as well

It was in the first of three parts of the Carl Miller videos on the Constitution. From fishyculture's signature. Highly recommended, although each is an hour and a half. Watched the first today, and this battle was mentioned in it.
