Single? Libertarian? Obviously Most of us are not Feverishly Looking for Love but Can We Find it at the Daily Paul?
Submitted by vinceableworld on Mon, 12/31/2012 - 23:01Please comment if you're currently single and you would like others at the DP to know. As I just commented on another post I've been waiting for the day when someone comes along who would like to stand by my side in this battle for liberty.
I asked a question in chat a few minutes ago:
"Why is there such a shortage of libertarian women?"
The answer was that "Women like to feel safe."
Okay granted a lot of us get into a lot of trouble simply because we assert our rights. Where are the women who find that sort of thing attractive? Our society in this country has gone downhill... perhaps one of the primary reasons is because most women drop men like a bad habit as soon as they prove themselves to not be compliant and especially do not want to be with someone who "questions authority."
When did having a moral compass and unshakable principles become so unattractive?

root canal surgery. In fact I know I'd rather have root canal - no novocaine - because I've already done that a few times. Maybe I just suck at spreading Liberty?
Maybe you could introduce me to a few Ex's ???

Stop trying to pick-up girls by talking politics - that is the problem. Don't mix politics and sex.
My wife is not libertarian
I am not sure if having a libertarian leaning wife would make marriage more peaceful and loving,.... I do wonder about it....Perhaps we ought to hear from such couples....are there any?

Analysis
My wife would probably be classified as leaning libertarian now. On the other hand, I've become an anarchist, so I'm not sure if overall peacefulness has increased. I'd say there's still kind of an "uneasy general accord," which has a certain element of humor to it. Now, if she would only grow a sense of humor.
Edit: It should be added that it must not be very easy for her because the kids are all anarchists. :)
What is with the "womb-man?"
Odd.

So come all ye Libertarians, Voluntaryists, Fiscal Conservatives, Ron Paul Republicans, Rothbardians, Anarchists, Jeffersonian Democrats, and find the partner(s) of your dreams.
This is a fully grass roots site- no buying of mailing lists. So to help get it started we need real people like you, and we're offering a free trial membership to the first 500 people. Onward for Love,
Liberty Cupid
Looks like an email harvesting page
You're seriously trying to snare privacy minded people with that?
Why not just launch the site and post a notice here when you do?
Y the negativity?
The claim is the site is "re-launching" and the page clearly states you are reserving your spot... not getting an account. I see no problem in a free society if they want to get a head start on signups before launching.
Running a website costs money... especially one where users are actually utilizing the site and not just browsing it (similar to the Daily Paul).

Glad to hear it :)
Will swing by some time soon :) I'd recommend sending a private message to the folks who've indicated they are single and looking. I've given you a starting boost for free :)

Re: RonPaulSingles.com
Just a heads up- I bought this domain a while ago from the previous owner and I'm in the process of getting it up and running. Bear with me.. I will keep you all updated.
The CIA -elite driven "feminist"
movement has pitted men and women against each other and taught women to think that government agents are their defenders, rather than their natural defenders and support, the males in their family. The reality is the opposite, but most women don't encounter the reality, going about their work-a-day lives thinking that if trouble confronts them they can call 911 and their local police person will save them.
Men have been conditioned to believe that they have no right to defend or pursue justice for wrongs committed against them or their families. This conditioning is achieved in the govschool gulag and reinforced in the media (movies, books, commercials, TV shows, "news") endlessly. This has created a perpetually adolescent society without non-governmental support structures.
At the risk of being called a bigoted chauvinist I will say that most women are less likely to challenge or question authority. This is another benefit to "feminizing" a culture for rulers.
Wow...
perpetually adolescent society
Talk about identifying the cancer. What you say here makes me think about these grown men/women that I can't have an intelligent discussion with. If anything conflicts with their illusion that they have it "all figured out" - their strict belief system/self-constructed prison cell... you are interrupted, they raise their voice and talk over you - they refuse to accept DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE as facts...
Just like a teenager. JESTINGLY I think that there should be some kind of test in being able to effectively communicate before you get your "adult" card.
...but that's just the thing. Adults are a threat to the matrix.

What's this Womb-man stuff all about?
Vinceable? Hilarious.
I was waiting for that :)
A man with a womb.
We're all men. All men are "created equal."
A good question now would be (and I invite any BAR members to answer this) at what point did some become "more equal than others?"
...and can you please point to the case reference that you speak of... otherwise you are just a would-be dictator talking out of your arse!

Are these women
calling themselves "womb-man"??
